“Deliece & Melissa were integral to the success of our beautiful wedding, and life savers in their day-of coordination of the event. I selected a ten week package where my fiancée and I selected our vendors and personalized the event to our tastes, but in the two and a half months leading up to the big day they dove in head first to get a handle on every detail and help us polish off any items on our to do list that we were struggling with. After hours of meetings to extract information that had been swirling around in my brain for a year, we were provided with a minute by minute timeline of the day, along with an entire decision making workbook that lead us through ceremony choices, first dance planning and a comprehensive item inventory to make sure no detail was left behind. They provided a budgeting workbook that made my little accountant heart flutter, and offered guidance based on years of practical experience working events and seeing how guests congregate and react to specific elements. Once their package kicked in I was able to pass off tasks that were stressing me out and know that they were being handled completely. Their additional day-of team member, Antonia, shadowed me (the bride) for most of the day and acted like a fairy godmother—handing me an already opened bottle of water or much needed electric fan, provided hair pins out of thin air, tackling my complicated bustle, and generally being warm, pleasant, and comforting in moments of anxiety. She melted into the background when I was on, and offered a protective enclave to sink back into when I needed a minute. The Dhalia team was flawless in their execution of the plan, and tactful in their handling of complex family relationships and herding of guests. Their pricing was clear and uncomplicated, and they were happy to answer straightforward questions with concise answers and no awkwardness or pressure to spend more than planned. “Working with Jasmin is a complete dream. From the moment we had our first Zoom call, almost 2 years before the wedding, I immediately adored her. She was recommended to me by our venue, Roxbury Barn and Estate, but I had already scoped her out via Instagram since she was tagged in many of the venue's photos. Her style is absolutely breath-taking and I knew I wanted to work with her right away. After our Zoom call and her shared 'vision board' and proposal, I was so excited to keep planning. She wanted to know my vision and details from the start, and welcomed allllll of the inspo pictures I sent her way! I can't emphasize enough how she truly 'sees' the vision her clients want to bring to life -- and brings her knowledge of florals and eye for design to her work with each couple. She is communicative and collaborative: she asks detailed questions to ensure you 100% love the florals in each aspect of your event. Beyond that, she is so sweet and takes the time to write detailed emails that make you feel seen and heard. Wedding planning can be a stressful process but with Jasmin's talent, professionalism, and collaboration, it feels exciting! I couldn't have been more happy with how my bouquet turned out; in fact, all of the girls and beauty vendors were gushing over the bouquets the morning of the wedding. Our floor alter, which we repurposed as florals in front of our sweetheart table at dinner, were absolutely gorgeous. Ahead of the wedding she'd reach out and ensure we were on track. ELD provided an amazing online tool that contributed to this success to track costs, plan seating, and keep all of our wedding documents in one place. We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. Ani aced the essentials of wedding planning: coordinating with vendors to free up our time, staying organized, having plans and backup plans, communicating well (not burdening us with details, but keeping us in the loop and involving us on key issues), and being proactive. But what made her stand out, and are truly excellent planner, was her personal touch: getting to know us, understanding what we liked and how we liked it, and truly caring about making our wedding day wonderful. Ani has great empathy and could tell when we needed something, even if we couldn't articulate it, both in the planning phase and on the day of the wedding. We felt we were in such good hands. Also bonus points for pulling a rabbit out of a hat at the last minute on our wedding day when our DJ (a close friend) wanted to extend the rental on his equipment so we could bring it to the afterparty. I didn't even know Ani was aware of this idea, but at one point during the reception she mentioned that it was all sorted, and we had an afterparty for the ages. “If you get the chance to have Claire work on your wedding, consider yourself lucky. Claire is a DREAM to work with and elevated our wedding beyond expectations. We came to her with a big ask: pull off a multi-day, inter-religious, multi-cultural wedding weekend in NYC. Claire more than delivered on both our Bangladeshi Gaye Holud and American wedding events. Her full planning service was the best wedding decision we made, hands down. Claire is well-connected in the industry because everyone she works with loves her. This helped us select top-quality vendors. Her 10 years of experience pulled through when she uncovered problematic vendor contract clauses that we initially overlooked. She led every site visit and asked important questions we wouldn’t have thought of. She kept us on track over the course of 14 months, so we didn’t rush or make hasty decisions as our wedding date approached. Planning with Claire was a great experience. She always returned our emails quickly and thoughtfully (and trust me, we emailed her A LOT). The fact that she is a part-time planner gave us no cause for concern.
