I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "bookends" or "everything but the venue" full service planning. For some, we help find the venue and provide month-of coordination. For others, we help find the vendors and keep the couple on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a "check-in consulting" session starting at $160 - a one-time two hour conversation about your wedding. Or you can pick and choose the planning support you need and we'll put together a custom proposal. This is a very "choose your own adventure" option.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in about eight-weeks out from your wedding day, which includes two consulting sessions, timeline creation/management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

    We love Claire! She is beyond organized and responsive. She made sure that nothing fell through the cracks and was in communication with all of our vendors throughout the entire planning process.     We hired Claire for her full services wedding planning and she was an excellent wedding planner! We got married in the Hudson Valley and Claire had extensive knowledge and connections to vendors in that area. Every vendor she suggested was great and did an excellent job at our wedding. Claire also kept us on track which was very important for two people who had very demanding jobs. She was very organized every step of the way from initial vendor contacts to day of wedding coordinating. We would recommend Claire to everyone!

    If you get the chance to have Claire work on your wedding, consider yourself lucky. Claire is a DREAM to work with and elevated our wedding beyond expectations. We came to her with a big ask: pull off a multi-day, inter-religious, multi-cultural wedding weekend in NYC. Claire more than delivered on both our Bangladeshi Gaye Holud and American wedding events. Her full planning service was the best wedding decision we made, hands down. Claire is well-connected in the industry because everyone she works with loves her. This helped us select top-quality vendors. Her 10 years of experience pulled through when she uncovered problematic vendor contract clauses that we initially overlooked. She led every site visit and asked important questions we wouldn’t have thought of. She kept us on track over the course of 14 months, so we didn’t rush or make hasty decisions as our wedding date approached. Planning with Claire was a great experience. She always returned our emails quickly and thoughtfully (and trust me, we emailed her A LOT). The fact that she is a part-time planner gave us no cause for concern. Her corporate experience came in handy for us as a working couple; we bonded over our love for spreadsheets and lists. Our Gaye Holud event in particular had many moving parts and vendors, but Claire swiftly kept track of everyone’s responsibilities. Her efforts helped uncover and resolve problems before the event took place. Claire is a creative force, too. She never planned a Bangladeshi event before, but gave us great ideas and solutions when we encountered a problem. Her flexibility and creativity is a large part of why we chose her as our planner. Day-of coordination was fantastic. Claire dealt with locked out vendors, missing items, and delayed timelines seamlessly. We were so impressed with how Claire handled every situation with poise, and it really made our day feel so much less stressful. A bonus? She captures amazing day-of content so you have photos and videos right away, the day after! If you’re looking for a wedding planner, we recommend Claire with flying colors. We could not have asked for anyone better!
