Dear September Events is a full service design-centered planning company with a range of offerings that will relieve the stresses of hosting a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We curate wedding and special event experiences that reflect our commitment to intentional, creative and authentic storytelling. Through our customized and detail-oriented approach, we translate your sweetest fantasies into your most cherished memories.

In 2020, Dear September Events was born out of the collective desire to help people find joy in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. Founded by a 2020 bride, we've seen it all and feel that there's no obstacle we can't help our clients overcome. With years of experience in event management, design, planning and styling paired with a long list of connections to amazing vendors and entertainment professionals, our couples trust us to not only make their wedding day dreams come true, but usher them into their happily-ever-after.

Description

Dear September Events began specializing in intimate events. While the word intimate doesn't necessarily mean small, there isn't anything more intimate than a micro-wedding or elopement. It can be a common misconception that smaller is easier and at the end of the day we want you two to be focused on enjoying each other rather than coordinating with vendors, transporting and styling decor, hailing cabs or attempting to schedule deliveries.

    Outside of deciding to marry my wife, choosing Dear September Events (DSE) for our special day was one of the best decisions we have ever made! We worked directly with DeAnne and Sarah, who were so kind and patient. Despite our lack of specific direction, they took charge and delivered beyond our expectations. DeAnne understood our vision, even when we ourselves were not entirely sure what that vision was. She did not even bat an eye when we u-turned and decided an international destination wedding was the dream. We leaned on DeAnne heavily throughout the planning process, and she seamlessly brought everything together. Even with vendors in another country, nothing slipped by her! DeAnne was organized, understanding, and knowledgeable. She was always responsive and addressed any concerns we had, making the entire experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. She supported and advocated for us, even after the celebrations were over when some details needed to be resolved with a vendor. Working with her, it was clear that DeAnne has a real passion for her work and loves what she does!  Sarah was with us in person for day of coordination. She handled our group well and everything flowed flawlessly. We are sure there were many things going on behind the scenes that we are not even aware of, which allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the celebration knowing that she had everything handled. It was the small details that made having DSE so special. DeAnne checked in with us the whole time we were abroad and sent the sweetest messages. Sarah helped manage our families, corral our wedding parties, and made sure we were taken care of. It was incredibly warm on our wedding day, and Sarah made sure we hydrated and hid us in the shade every chance she got. She was equipped with napkins and blotting sheets, which were definitely needed!  We wholeheartedly recommend DSE to anyone looking for a dedicated, talented, and passionate wedding planning team! You definitely want DeAnne and Sarah on your side for your wedding process.     Planning our wedding with Dear September was an absolute breeze from start to finish. From the moment we met DeAnne and Sarah, we knew we were in good hands.     We booked DeAnne a year and half before our wedding. She was incredibly helpful throughout the wedding process. She took time to understand my vision, helped to execute it the day of, and even was there in times when I needed some emotional support. As the day got closer and things became more stressful, she was making sure things were getting done in the background like emailing and confirming with vendors, so that all I had to do at the wedding was show up. Hire DeAnne and her team for your wedding—you won't be disappointed!
