    Danielle of Hudson Valley Trendsetters is an impeccable planner who never fails to execute beyond her client’s expectations. She has the energy of an entire team, and she always brings her team to ensure everyone is heartily thrilled. We have been calling upon her for nearly a dozen years, and she always does a stellar job with tremendous grace. True pros! We love Hudson Valley Trendsetters!

    I have to be honest. I read all the reviews on every website for Hudson Valley Trendsetters and everyone had raving experiences so I expected the same, but I did not receive the same treatment which led to a string of problems into my wedding day. Danielle was friendly so I booked her. I told her my budget in the beginning, which she said was doable considering I am the florist and my mom is making my dress. She found me a photographer and DJ. So far so good. We started looking at officiants, photo booths, transportation, cake, rentals, etc. I assumed she was aware of my budget since that's her job, so I didn't monitor the budget closely myself. Things started looking very expensive and I did the math and we were already 10K over budget and we hadn't finished booking vendors! I was shocked and when I reminded her over the phone what my budget was, she seemed to not remember and was now telling me that it wasn't doable! She also told me hotels near my venue don't do hotel blocks, so I didn't prioritize hotels. When I started calling hotels they told me that they DO hotel blocks, but I had missed my opportunity since other people had booked them already. When I told her I was unhappy with her budgeting and hotel mishap, she cancelled my contract with her immediately. At least she refunded me a portion of the money, but here I was months before my wedding without a planner, 10k over budget, no hotels for guests, and half the vendors not picked out yet. I ended up planning the entire wedding myself and had to cut a lot of the things I wanted/DIY a lot to reduce the costs, which in the end was still 5k over budget. In the end we ran into a lot of problems like the guests had to travel 45 mins to hotels because that was the only one that still had room blocks. It was a really frustrating and stressful experience. I feel like she really dropped the ball on me. Maybe she doesn't do this with everyone, but I felt like other brides deserve to know.
