Nellie's passion for events began at age three, creating place cards for family celebrations. She holds a degree in Communications from Marist College and started her professional career in radio, managing special promotions and large events. Her experience spans the restaurant industry and managing a DJ company, where she coordinated charitable events. Since launching Nellie Hill Events in 2016, she has focused on weddings, her favorite area. She has built strong relationships with industry leaders across the Hudson Valley and northeast region. Outside of work, Nellie enjoys restoring furniture and cooking with her family

    Incredible Team!

    The entire Nellie Hill team was amazing to work with! I am not the most Type-A person and felt overwhelmed by the wedding planning process which led me to Nellie Hill. They provided a lot of vendor recommendations and I ended up booking multiple vendors based on these and was very happy with my choices. They also always had an answer for any wedding-related question I had as they are so experienced - This took SO much wedding stress away. As the wedding got closer, Haley was my point person and was also there on my wedding day. She was so attentive to the small details that you don't even think about and was incredible with communication with all of the vendors as the day got closer. Our wedding was last month and there were a few small hiccups and Haley handled each one beautifully and always came to me when she already had a solution in mind! She has such a calm energy that truly calmed me down. I couldn't have asked for a better team behind me and would recommend them to any bride!

    Thanks Nellie!

    We were so thrilled with how our wedding turned out, much of which was due to Nellie and her team. Nellie was very helpful in answering the various questions we had throughout the process, created a detailed timeline for the event (and was able to pivot when there was a hiccup with the shuttles the day of), and helped everything come together. We wouldn't have been able to enjoy ourselves the day of without her and her team's help. She was exactly the type of planner we were looking for!

    Cannot recommend enough!

    Nellie and her team were AMAZING! Everyone was responsive, patient , calm, and made fantastic recommendations throughout our planning process. We cannot recommend enough! Even a year later people are still speaking about the little details that helped make the day memorable and a large part of it was from all the behind the scenes coordination!

    Highly recommend!

    We couldn't have been happier with Nellie and her team. They were a major help during the wedding day and in the months and weeks prior, answering all our questions, and providing essential support during the big day. Even throughout some unfortunate rain and other complications, Nellie and her team were on top of things and made us feel supported. Thank you Nellie, Sequoyah, and Haley!
