I am a certified wedding and event planner, I've been working in the wedding industry for over a decade. I started off as an event planners assistant and soon found myself working for various venues. I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I began building the foundation for my company. In 2013 I officially launched my wedding and event planning business in Sullivan County, NY. While I have planned dozens of weddings you can expect the upmost professionalism and confidence. My passion and attention to detail for this industry does not go unnoticed. I want to give every couple the opportunity to enjoy their wedding day!

As your wedding planner, my job is to be your emotional support therapist, the keeper of your mother if needed, the one who calms you down, the one who reassures you everything will be okay, all while making the wedding planning process as smooth and as stress free as possible. I am not your ordinary wedding planner, I take a very hands on approach and I am constantly expanding my knowledge, even if that means jumping in as a bartender during cocktail hour. I have experience with floral design which will come in handy for helping you design your dream wedding vision. With KR Occasions you can say "I do" with a smile and a stress free process.

Description

Our full service package includes everything from planning, styling, and coordinating for those who desire complete management of their big day. We begin with an in-depth consultation where we learn about you, your event needs, and ideas. With this knowledge we prepare a proposal catered to you and design the perfect event exactly how YOU want it. Together we will finalize the concepts and we will work to recruit only the best vendors.

This service is for couples who have planned a weekend wedding experience, beyond their wedding day. This can include welcome dinners, farewell brunches and even on site activities. Our coordinators will help you manage the entire weekend wedding experience.

This service is for couples who need some assistance in certain area of the wedding planning process. Think of us as your go to wedding assistant / secretary! These services can be added onto any of our wedding packages or be used without a package

This service is for couples who have already planned our their wedding. Our trained and experienced wedding coordinators are available to make sure your plans are facilitated without a hitch!

    Kayce was our wedding weekend hero! She has been so incredible to work with in the planning process and on site and she truly went above and beyond. In the lead up, she'd take last minute calls with us as needed, and she dealt with challenges on site with grace, poise and efficiency. We had a family health emergency at our welcome party and Kayce handled it all, which is really beyond the scope and expectations for our planner. She simultaneously dealt with getting the emergency handled with the EMT, while also making sure my husband and I and our guests were cared for. She guided us on how to restart our party in a tasteful way and shared updates on the status of our family member (who thankfully is okay!). She stayed late with us as well to ensure we were emotionally okay and everything was running smoothly. At our wedding, our venue / caterer didn't prepare enough food, and Kayce quickly handled getting more food locally to feed our guests. We had an issue with our buses making a return trip, and she even drove our guests home personally. We could not recommend her more-- she is an absolute star and gem of a human and despite these challenges, made our wedding weekend so special! They were all handled so well we were not bothered and got to celebrate and be present, as she tackled them all for us. Hiring Kayce was the best decision!

    Kayce was THE critical part in making our wedding day come together smoothly. She was communicative with us on finalizing all our details and also ensuring all our vendors were licensed and clear on day of operations. She was knowledgeable about important aspects that, us as first time newlyweds, wouldn't have known to consider/confirm/ask. We felt confident about it all coming together with her! She handled everything so professionally that even if there might have been stressors ( every wedding no doubt has) we either weren't aware of the background logistics, or things were communicated in a clear and calm way-- this is SO important!!! Kayce knows her stuff. We couldn't recommend her enough!!! Thank you for making our dream day come together so beautifully!

    Kayce was a pleasure to work with from the start. Anytime I had a question, or lets be honest, a meltdown she was right there to help. It was such a good feeling knowing we had her by our side on our wedding day.

    We hired Kayce to be our day-of coordinator pretty early on during our planning process, and she has made everything easy. From giving us amazing vendor recommendations, to answering our millions of questions, to being totally flexible in accommodating our sometimes last-minute changes of mind, her professionalism, cheerful energy, and calmness really took a huge load of stress off of our shoulders. On the day of the wedding, she's on top of everything and made sure everything go exactly according to plan. She also took time to make sure we were eating, drinking, and having a good time. Hire Kayce and her team! She is a true gem and we are so glad she was part of our big day!!
