This venue is absolutely stunning! My husband and I wanted a smaller/more intimate wedding, and this was perfect. Karen, the venue owner/manager, is the best, her communication was top notch all throughout the process. Day of, she was there helping me with anything I needed, she stayed until the end of the event and even helped clean up. I could not have asked for a more amazing venue. I will recommend The Gardens at West Green to anyone who is wanting a smaller wedding that is extremely elegant.

The planners are top-notch, incredibly personable, thoughtful, detail-oriented and help bring your dream wedding to life. At the Inn, customization is limitless - a blank canvas (well, if you consider a blank canvas to be gorgeous gardens, sprawling staircase, and stunning tent) awaits. We worked with Tania-lynn who was an absolute rockstar and made our wildest dreams come to life. Every 'I" was dotted and every "T" was crossed. We didn't have a worry in the world when we walked onto the grounds on our wedding day. I can't speak more highly about the experience, staff, accommodations, and wedding day (and I've been dreaming about this day since I was a little girl!). I had searched for awhile and Pinstripes Northbrook was my last stop. I cant explain how happy I am that it was. The all seasons room is so beautiful you don’t even feel like you’re in the suburbs. The back was perfect for our ceremony. It had a lot of greenery and rolling hills. I also got so many compliments on my food even after the wedding. I wish I could do it again and again. I’ll be having our 10 year wedding anniversary party there one day!!

We had our wedding last November and Fogo de Chão was very helpful in every step of the way. We booked 3 rooms which was perfect for our small wedding. The staff was very helpful as well as the event and general manager. Food was delicious as always. Our ceremony ended early and the manager was nice accommodating our guests a little bit earlier while we got our photos taken. It was such a good experience that now my husband wants to celebrate our anniversary every year at Fogo de Chão.

I rented the Bullbourne Ranch for my wedding day as I fell in love when we went to tour it. The area is gorgeous, the bison are incredible, the barn was exactly what I was looking for. The venue host, Kesha, was amazing! Her communication was impeccable, she answered every question I had to throw at her or if she couldn't she would provide me with the answer within a day, she was genuinely honest, and definitely a life saver on the day of. We didn't get to meet the property owner, but we know he is an incredible, selfless person for having this property setup for venue rentals and offering his beautiful ranch house for us to get ready the day of. We are forever thankful for them and the hard work and research they did to help ensure we had an unforgettable wedding!!

As a new venue, Jackie and Dan have worked hard to create a hidden gem and open up their beloved family estate as a wedding venue. You can feel the care and passion they have brought to this place, along with the care and passion they put into their clients, and vendor partners. If you are looking for an off the path and charming Upstate NY venue, their's is top notch. We were blown away with the waterfall terrace. This venue is great, especially if you're looking for something that's budget friendly. My husband and I were engaged for almost 3 years, so when we decided it was finally time to get married, we didn't want to wait very long to do so. We planned our wedding in just a few months. We wanted to find a venue that would host a good amount of people without breaking the bank. We also didn't want to stress out about decorating or making a lot of preparations. The waterfall terrace was great for this because there's a LOT of greenery, flowers, flowing water and beautiful decor already present at the venue. The bridal suite was gorgeous. The decorations in the room are simple but they go a long way in photos. The altar is already set up for you in the way that you want it before you arrive, tables and linens are provided along with chairs. There are multiple spots within the venue for gorgeous photos, especially on the balcony. It couldn't have been more simple for us. The host is extremely accommodating and flexible. She really took into account what we wanted and worked with us every step of the way. She was always willing to answer my questions and was readily available for phone calls or texting. You can't rent the venue for a full day, however, you can rent it for 4 hours or less and we found that 4 hours was stress enough time to do all of the traditional wedding things. We hosted a ceremony with 40 guests, did photos, dancing, food, cake, etc. We did have an after party at our house after our 4 hours was up at the venue, so that's something that other couples could consider if they want a budget friendly venue but still want to spend a whole day with their friends and family. Overall, I am so happy with this venue and I'm so grateful I found it here on Zola and I wouldn't change a thing about our experience.

Got married Jan 5th. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. All of our guest and my wife and I have absolutely nothing to complain about because the day from start to end was amazing. The food was amazing, everything was run well. The process was stress free. All of our vendors also had a great experience working with them. We had Hannah as our coordinator and Brenda as our bridal attendant, both were helpful in creating our perfect day. We are recommending David’s to everyone in hopes we can experience David’s as a guest. 10/10 for service, price, presentation, customer service and hospitality.

I cannot say enough to praise Kerri and Frank for their beautiful space, their attention to detail, their immense care and love for the work that they do and for every single person who enters their space. Kerri's precision and focus is unmatched and you truly feel like the only person in the room when you speak to her. Every single question went answered and each detail attended to with precision. The food here is immaculate and even a month later people continue to ask me to ask Chef Charlie for his recipes. The words "hidden gem" have never meant more than for this venue. I cannot recommend this enough and will forever be shouting from the rooftops that Kerri is a true dream maker. If you tell her exactly what you want, she will make it happen. It will still take work on your end but it will all be worth it. If you meet the deadlines she sets, you will have a smooth and seamless planning process.

I cannot say enough great things about this Venue. We wanted to find a venue that was able to accommodate the entire day in one place and this venue does just that. I loved that we were able to arrive first thing in the morning to get ready in their bridal sweet. This allowed the morning to be stress free. Our guest didn't have to worry about traveling from Ceremony to reception in this crazy Florida traffic. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and has a great working relationship with the kindest vendors. I am a type A personality, but I was able to relax and enjoy my day because I trusted them 1000%. My guest couldn't say enough positive things about The Black Barn, it truly is a hidden gem.

I am absolutely obsessed with The Market at Grelen! There is an endless amount of possibility for photos on the property. The oldest house in Philo (1888), it was Anderson Valley’s first post office and stagecoach stop that decades later was the Philo Pottery Inn. During the painstaking restoration we did using nearly all salvaged materials, its secrets and history began to resurface. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. There are so many ways to utilize the property and also vintage trailers and wacky Japanese cars to get creative with. Come see for yourself and be part of its evolving history.

This venue is simply like no other... from the moment you arrive you know you're somewhere special where you want to get married. The ceremony and reception site were soo cool and we were able to choose from several different parts of the property on site (for the main day and other activities throughout our event with different guests visiting). We actually hosted our close family and friends there in the main house from the 1800s as well as the cool cabin and even some in glamping bell tents on the meadow at the top of the magical creekside redwood amphitheater. There were also some rad cars (we loved the tiny red firetruck, VW buses and retro camper trailers!) & chairs and other things we rented from Mary who was not only accommodating but great to help us with ideas, vendors, what to do before and during our event/stay. We would highly recommend for anyone wanting something unexpected and unique. We looked at other options at wineries and in the redwoods, but found the Knotty Oak had elements of that but with touches that felt unique as we are and special as we wanted our celebration with our loved ones to feel.

My husband and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the overall beauty and charm of Grand Cascades Lodge, which made our wedding day truly memorable. The stunning views, exquisite grounds, and the spacious Emerald ballroom were perfect for our celebration. Working with Jean and Sara was generally a positive experience, and their welcoming attitude during our visits meant a lot to us. However, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the planning process. While our customization requests were accommodated, there were communication challenges, especially on the day of the wedding, with multiple points of contact. The food tasting experience was delightful, and we appreciate the effort in accommodating our preferences. Although some dishes at the cocktail hour were well-received, the braised beef dish didn't meet the standard set during the tasting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during the weekend that impacted our experience: - The memory table candles were not lit until late in the reception, despite prior requests. - Our sweetheart table had a wrinkled tablecloth, affecting the overall presentation. - The florist's flowers for the cake were left with the kitchen staff, and despite assurances, they were not added as planned. - The shuttle service delay inconvenienced elderly guests who had to wait longer than expected. Additionally shuttle service that was promised during the after party did not work as agreed upon. While these points highlight areas for improvement, we want to emphasize our appreciation for the positive aspects of our celebration. We understand that events may encounter unforeseen challenges, and we believe that sharing our experience can contribute to enhancing future events at GCL. Greetings...I haven't hosted a wedding at The Canal but have been to and helped with myriad other events and I can say WOW! Gorgeous setting...sweeping open floor plan and so many great indoor and outdoor spaces with both an open feel and offering intimate settings for gift gathering..greeting...gazing ..dining and celebration. Where do I start?! I think the pictures speak for themselves as to how gorgeous this venue is. When we were looking at venues in the fall of 2022, the minute we stepped foot into the Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest we knew it was our venue. Much has changed at Owl’s Nest over the last 20 months since we booked. Like other couples, this was exciting and also anxiety-provoking at times. The construction never seems to end with all of the additions to the property, but all of the changes just make ON an even more incredible destination. We loved the feeling of being at a resort for our wedding weekend and truly being at a destination, regardless of how far or close it was to home. We (and our guests) took full advantage of the restaurant, hot tub and pool, driving range, and the whole property itself. The golf course itself wasn’t open for our wedding since they don’t open it until May, but the driving range and simulators were more than enough for the golfers who came. The grounds are gorgeous (despite any ongoing construction). We have seen so many stunning photos of other couples and couldn’t wait for our turn! We were especially eager for gorgeous sunset photos. The weather and clouds didn’t necessarily work out for us, but that’s the risk anywhere. However, because we were at Owl’s Nest, we were able to still get out for additional photos as the sun was setting and they still turned out absolutely stunning thanks to the grounds and the views of the mountains! The lodging on site is great! A huge bonus for us was the ability to bring our dog to stay with us since they have pet friendly lodging options. My husband and I stayed in a deluxe nano unit, which had a full kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and lots of closets! Our dog especially appreciated the closed off deck so she could freely roam inside and outside of our house. Our friends and family stayed onsite in Gambrel, Contemporary, and Lakeside units, as well as the new hotel, and even some Air bnb rentals (right on the property)! Now last but not least for my ON review…HAYLEA was our coordinator and we LOVE her. Owl’s Nest assigns your coordinator about 6 months before your wedding date (and before that you work with the manager). From our first meeting with Haylea, every minor detail that we were stressed or nervous about was eagerly addressed by Haylea. She set up our venue from top to bottom exactly as I envisioned it, and assisted us through an insane amount of seating chart adjustments. She supported us through the planning process but was also SO helpful throughout our day, making sure we had everything we needed, making sure we ate and drank, keeping us on the timeline (and making adjustments as needed). We truly felt so at ease in her hands.

We had the most perfect wedding at WWR. The venue itself is on a beautiful backdrop on the Texas countryside. The venue owners are very hands on and are very responsive. They are reasonably priced and offer so many suggestions to have a beautiful event for any budget. Donna sent us a list of recommended vendors that helped us to find an amazing photographer. She was our DOC and was so helpful the day of the wedding. I almost didn't have to think about anything on the day of because she handled all of it. We had an outdoor wedding in June, but the shaded ceremony cite made the heat bearable. All of our guests said that they were totally fine in the shade during the ceremony. Guests even continued to hangout in the shade after the reception started.

Our wedding weekend surpassed anything that we could've imagined it to be, and we'll forever remember this place. We almost want to get divorced so we can get married here again

I am not going to lie, there were a few times we were very nervous about booking with Trademark Venues at Green Gable. Our coordinator changed very early in the process, and we weren’t informed why. We did the food tasting and we were so disappointed with everything we tried. We then spoke to someone higher up who helped us customize our menu without getting extra costs. Day of the wedding, everything went absolutely perfect. Gina was a god send, paying attention to every detail. She handled everything and made sure the day was stress free for us. So many guests told us how delicious the food was, so we were thrilled as that was what we were most nervous about. And I can confirm that the cupcakes were sooooo good! Seriously could not be happier. Gina was amazing and the venue is absolutely breathtaking. We absolutely recommend booking Green Gables!!

Kim checked in with our families throughout and the day to make sure our expectations were met and to alleviate and concerns or potential stressors. If you are looking for a quaint town to have your wedding, you must check out this hidden gem! It is a venue that will have you loving your big day and all the photo opportunities! They are an inclusive venue and never made us feel uncomfortable as an LGBT couple.

After searching high and low, my husband and I decided on the Ranch at Stoney Creek. From the moment we stepped on the property, the beauty took our breaths away. From the pond at the entrance to the barn and grass area, to the upper area in the trees and grape vines where we had our ceremony. Michelle and Leon have the perfect property for that rustic/country wedding feel. One of the highlights I felt that made a difference was the fact that there are rooms on the property for the bridal party to stay at. Since we lived in Utah and all our friends are still in California, it was a great bonding experience to spend the weekend with them. All in all, they do a great job to keep the weekend running smooth. I would highly recommend this venue!

Valentine is our grandest location, and features a flowing 9,000 square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management, plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We cannot thank Valentine DTLA (and the whole team at Marvimon) for going above and beyond and making sure our wedding really was everything we dreamed it would be! Here is a quick breakdown of how it all went down: We originally found Grass Room on Pinterest and always dreamt of getting married here! We went to visit the venue and loved it, but then they showed us Valentine DTLA and we realized that fit us A LOT more! We were looking for a venue that would "WOW" our out of town family members from NY and NE and give them an experience they could only have in LA! The dining area was laid out beautifully with a projector (that we used to project our seating chart and then play clips from our favorite romance movies while we danced), a historic looking bar that spoke for itself, and a ceremony area that's full of greenery (and the best lighting for posed photos)! While the place was a little out of our price range, we decided to have our wedding for 150 people on a Friday and it was worth EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. Once we signed the contract, we were put in contact with Dana and her team (Clare and Ariel) who helped us every step of the way and was there to answer ALL of our questions (which were a TON)! They provided us with paperwork that clearly outlined the rules of the venue and gave us a list of recommended vendors that have worked the venue before which helped us out a TON! One thing to note as you're considering this place, you will need to pay for a valet with White Label Valet who were very easy to work with and we HIGHLY recommend having since the area outside of the venue isn't the safest. Also, the venue does have security so there was never a moment where we or a guest felt unsafe. We spent a year and half of planning everything with Dana and her team at Valentine DTLA before our wedding. This included visiting the venue, having meetings in person to discuss the layout of everything, and asking us questions for things we never would have thought of to make sure all of our bases were covered. Dana and her team were so kind, helpful, and made sure we felt good when the day finally came and always checked in to see if we were stressing out as we got closer and to see if there was anything they could do to alleviate our worries. When the wedding day finally came, their site representative and our Day of Coordinator from "Pop the Champagne" (who was a DREAM to work with) made sure our wedding day went perfectly and that all the vendors obeyed the rules outlined in the contract so we didn't have to worry about anything at all! As soon as we walked into the venue, all of the stress was gone and the best day of our lives commenced! It seriously was the best day of our lives and we never felt so loved and that's thanks to Valentine DTLA (and Marvimon)! Even our guests were in complete awe of the venue and had a blast as well! We cannot thank Valentine DTLA and Marvimon enough for giving us the perfect wedding! Now quit reading this review and go book this beautiful venue!

Not only is The Morris Estates professional, beautiful, and in one of the best locations ever. Wait until you see the bridal suite! The suite is a makeup artist's dream featuring enough room for your hair/mua team to set up while you and your bridal party still have plenty of space to enjoy the getting ready process. The Morris Estate is hands down in my top 5 wedding venues in our area and I'm grateful for their team and my brides to be who also love this venue so much.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Mulberry Estates. I was in the hunt for a venue to have a surprise gender reveal/baby shower for my best friend. Right when I was about to give up I came upon Mulberry through google search. I immediately fall in love without seeing it in person. I contacted the venue and was in contact with Melanie since. Due to the fact I lived in a different city all the planning was done vie phone calls and text messages. Melanie’s impeccable service from day one made the day truly memorable. On the day of the event, I must say, I felled in loved even more. The guest loved it and most importantly my best friend and husband loved it. The venue definitely exceeded our expectations! Our country band was hired by Sarah at Zola for a series of musical performances during the summer of 2020. All communications were clear and concise. Payment for services was fair and prompt. As this was during the Covid pandemic, we had multiple conversations regarding the safety of both the performers and the guests and all of our concerns were taken very seriously. Sarah was a pleasure to work with and we hope to be able to work future events together

Tropical Paradise in Geauga County! I kept telling my husband when we were looking into venues, "I want somewhere close to the water that's peaceful and I want it to feel like paradise, but I want to get married not too far from home". Most of our family is from the area, so we wanted somewhere that we didn't have to travel super far either. I had been looking for DAYS and everything was either way too far, way too expensive, ehhh, or just not at all what I was thinking. My husband hopped on Google, and said "Hey, how about this place called Shangri-La?" I looked at the pictures and I was like "Where is this place?!" He said "5 minutes from us". I could NOT believe it! It was GORGEOUS! The pictures are amazing but don't do it justice. I immediately reached out to Pam and Rod who own Shangri-La with interest. They said we could come and look at it that day if we wanted! My husband and I went and fell in LOVE! So so beautiful, and they have clearly spared no expense on making it so elegant, beautiful, convenient, affordable, and just magical. They were so amazing to work with. I knew when we parked and walked down the walkway even only seeing a small area of the location that was it. That was the place we were meant to be married at. Pam and Rod were so unbelievably amazing to work with. So caring, so organized, so attentive. They even offered us to set off fireworks at the end of our wedding (we got married on the 4th of July). It was truly the best day of our lives. I didn't worry about a thing, everything went smoothly, and they were just so great to work with! I will absolutely be returning to Shangri-La in the future as they can accommodate you for any kind of gathering you have in mind! They even went the extra mile; I was in a very bad car accident about 2 weeks after my husband and I got back from our honeymoon. I was in the hospital for a days and had broken my neck and had surgery on my knee that left me re-teaching myself to walk. Somehow, Pam and Rod had found out that I was in a car accident, and they stopped over at our house with the sweetest care package and card. It truly made me cry. They are such sweet and wonderful people. And we had such an amazing visit. Pam and Rod are just such unbelievably genuine people. You just feel like you're "home" when you're at Shangri-La. I cannot say enough about Shangri-La and Pam and Rod <3

They helped us trouble shoot all concerns during the planning process and the day of the wedding. Skyle was kind and organized at all times and made planning, set up, and the event itself run smoothly. The team took care of us the day of the wedding from making sure we ate at the reception, to making it easy for our guests with dietary needs to eat dinner and dessert. Skyle was always responsive and ready to answer our many questions. The food was fabulous and the space looked elegant and intimate! I can’t recommend Gran Morsi enough!

Kia was the BEST day of coordinator - making sure everything was taken care of with grace. For those looking for a venue: Vinewood handles almost everything! We had to get the photographer and music (with their help honestly for music) and they handled everything else. I cannot recommend them enough for women like me: who work crazy hours and needed partners / a professional company to plan and coordinate a wedding that captures my and my husband's love. They have it down to a science and created the most amazing wedding. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family who joined us on our special day. Paniolo Ranch is a BEAUTIFUL location for a perfect hill country wedding! My husband and I got married at Paniolo Ranch in October 2023 and it was PERFECT! The venue has a beautiful location for stunning hill country views for the ceremony. A nice open area for an outdoor cocktail hour. A very spacious reception area that held 100 guests and a open dance floor! Paniolo Ranch also offered us a spacial and lovely bridal suite and grooms suite. Not only was the venue perfect but what truly made it AMAZING was Hunter! We booked our venue in January of 2022. Between Jan 2022 to the day before our wedding in Oct 2023 Hunter was VERY communicative! It made our experience PERFECT! He also let us view the venue whenever we needed to! Which helps when trying to figure out decor, etc. I wish I could leave 100 stars for Paniolo Ranch! We loved it here! It made our wedding day PERFECT!

Our journey into the wedding industry began when we started looking at venues for our daughter’s wedding. We found high costs and many restrictions at most venues. Having a background in customer service, we were inspired to create a unique wedding venue in Fort Worth with a reasonable price tag and very few restrictions. In seven years, we’ve made numerous improvements and additions to our venue. We have now hosted 500 + weddings. Guests will often come up to us and tell us that it was the most interesting and fun wedding that they have ever attended. This makes our job very rewarding. We enjoy our work and will always do our best to make sure the day is special for each and every one that visits our beautiful venue.

This was the best venue ever!! The entire experience from our first tour to the big day was amazing! The venue owners truly care about the couples they host here. How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year.
