About this venue

Terra Incognita Vineyard is a secluded mountaintop venue located on 124 acres of private land surrounded by national forest and boasting long range mountain views of the southern Blue Ridge. The grape vines add a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony locations and are used in the delicious wines available at the 16-foot live edge oak slab bar located in the 2,100 square foot event pavilion. With a gorgeous 8ft wide stacked stone fireplace and an outdoor fire circle, Terra Incognita is the perfect venue for your private and fun outdoor-oriented wedding!

Event Pavlion

Beautiful mountain views

This space is a 2,100 square foot covered pavilion with 16 foot live edge oak slab bar, 8ft stacked stone fireplace. With at least 10ft of level ground on all sides, the space feels very connected to the natural outdoor landscaping and creates that perfect outdoor wedding feel while offering the comfort of a shaded and covered space for your event.

    Gorgeous!! We loved working with Sarah, she was super kind and helpful. The venue was super flexible and easy to work with and had no trouble accommodating our requests. Not to mention the VIEWS! The suite above the pavilion is a perfect bridal suite and place for the bride and groom to stay after the wedding, super convenient. Absolutely worth the trip!

    My husband and I are so happy that we had our wedding reception at Terra Incognita Vineyard. Our wedding day was brisk and windy, so the staff pulled down the pavilion's sidewalls and made a cozy fire to keep our guests comfortable. The landscape at the venue is stunning! There are two beautiful mountain views, and the pavilion overlooks the vineyard. Our photographer had so much to work with, and our photos turned out great! It was a joy to work with Sarah and the entire Terra Incognita team; they were professional, friendly, and always quick to reply to our questions. I've worked with many vendors, and they are one of the best. They had a calm, steady, reassuring presence- it's clear that the staff loves what they do. Their passion shows in their work! I would highly recommend this venue.

    Terra Incognita Vineyard is one of my absolute favorite venues for weddings. It has the best view that can be seen from any area on the property. The structure for most receptions (rain back up) is just stunning. They have everything you need or want for a wedding or event venue. Not to mention Sarah and staff are the most kind and professional venue staff we have worked with in years.
