Every nook and cranny is just magical! Michelle has a gorgeous collection of wedding and event decor from unique dinnerware, tablescapes, vases, couches, chairs, rugs -- the list goes on and on - It's an easy one stop shop to create a gorgeous backdrop for your special day. They also offer floral services that can compete with the best! The staff are very well versed in planning and executing events and weddings - they have everything dialed in and go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect! Our wedding turned out to be a dream come true. Cafe Brauer was the perfect event space, and I don’t know if I’ll ever get over how well it all came together. I would definitely recommend this venue, and if the weather is nice, you should use the honeycomb for your ceremony. Ours was epic. Natalie and Ellen were amazing to work with, and had great relationships with all of our vendors. The food from Tigerlily was incredible as well!

Not only is The Morris Estates professional, beautiful, and in one of the best locations ever. Wait until you see the bridal suite! The suite is a makeup artist's dream featuring enough room for your hair/mua team to set up while you and your bridal party still have plenty of space to enjoy the getting ready process. The Morris Estate is hands down in my top 5 wedding venues in our area and I'm grateful for their team and my brides to be who also love this venue so much.

Southwick is not only a great place to go for a fun summer activity, but it was also the best venue I could have ever asked for. I recently had the pleasure to work with Mulberry Estates. I was in the hunt for a venue to have a surprise gender reveal/baby shower for my best friend. Right when I was about to give up I came upon Mulberry through google search. I immediately fall in love without seeing it in person. I contacted the venue and was in contact with Melanie since. Due to the fact I lived in a different city all the planning was done vie phone calls and text messages. Melanie’s impeccable service from day one made the day truly memorable. On the day of the event, I must say, I felled in loved even more. The guest loved it and most importantly my best friend and husband loved it. The venue definitely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. Melanie was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every guest felt comfortable and well taken care of. The venue itself is beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of modern and cozy elements. Thank you so much again Melanie for all your time and patience with me through the planning since they one until the event date. Thank you once again for an outstanding experience. I cannot rate Vinewood Stables higher! From the decision process, through the planning, through our special day: Vinewood was an absolute pleasure to work with! We booked Vinewood for our wedding. I worked with Diane and Kia and could not have asked for better people to work with. Diane did a fantastic job capturing what I wanted for my wedding and advising me all along the process. Kia was the BEST day of coordinator - making sure everything was taken care of with grace. For those looking for a venue: Vinewood handles almost everything! We had to get the photographer and music (with their help honestly for music) and they handled everything else. I cannot recommend them enough for women like me: who work crazy hours and needed partners / a professional company to plan and coordinate a wedding that captures my and my husband's love. They have it down to a science and created the most amazing wedding. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family who joined us on our special day. They exceeded our expectations and made our special day even more special. 3

Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!

There is a full commercial caterer's kitchen, public bathrooms, and grooms suite. The open but covered grand hall is 6000 sf with 2 huge chandeliers, Edison string lights, post lights, and a huge rock fireplace. There are also motorized curtains on the west side that can be closed or opened with a touch of a button. Paniolo Ranch is a BEAUTIFUL location for a perfect hill country wedding! My husband and I got married at Paniolo Ranch in October 2023 and it was PERFECT! The venue has a beautiful location for stunning hill country views for the ceremony. A nice open area for an outdoor cocktail hour. A very spacious reception area that held 100 guests and a open dance floor! Paniolo Ranch also offered us a spacial and lovely bridal suite and grooms suite. Not only was the venue perfect but what truly made it AMAZING was Hunter! We booked our venue in January of 2022. Between Jan 2022 to the day before our wedding in Oct 2023 Hunter was VERY communicative! It made our experience PERFECT! He also let us view the venue whenever we needed to! Which helps when trying to figure out decor, etc. I wish I could leave 100 stars for Paniolo Ranch! We loved it here! It made our wedding day PERFECT!

The oldest house in Philo (1888), it was Anderson Valley’s first post office and stagecoach stop that decades later was the Philo Pottery Inn. During the painstaking restoration we did using nearly all salvaged materials, its secrets and history began to resurface. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. There are so many ways to utilize the property and also vintage trailers and wacky Japanese cars to get creative with. Come see for yourself and be part of its evolving history.

The Knotty Oaks property is situated in the stunning wine region of Anderson Valley, which is surrounded by several excellent wineries. The property is located near the Navarro River and Hendy Woods State Park, providing numerous opportunities to relax, unwind, and explore the valley's hidden gems. Over the past year and a half, we have enjoyed observing the development of the property. The main house and guest houses have unique personalities and make wonderful spaces to entertain and gather. The property itself is magnificent, featuring beautiful meadows and a creek that we loved exploring. We couldn't be happier with our wedding at Yorkie Acres, it was everything we had dreamed of for our special day. Here are our top five favorite things about our experience: 1) The owners Jason and Alea were absolutely amazing to work with and it felt more like we were making a new set of friends rather than working with a business. 2) The highland cattle! Not only did they provide a beautiful addition to photos, our guests loved interacting with them. The number of times at the wedding, and since, that attendees have remarked about the cattle are too many to count. 3) The location can't be beat. It is only 20 minutes from the resort area around Deep Creek Lake, 10 minutes from a major highway, and 30 minutes from Morgantown, WV. It's location allowed us to have the intimate experience we sought, while still having easy access to lodging, recreation, and vendors for the wedding. 4) The yurt and tiny container house. They are both perfectly set-up for a couple to have everything they need for a comfortable stay. My husband and I stayed in the yurt on our wedding night and were not disappointed. And a bonus of the tiny container house is it has a composting toilet and sink. This may not seem that exciting, but as a bride in a large wedding gown not having to use the porta potty cannot be over stated. :) 5) The photos. Because of the natural beauty of the area, farm animals, historic barn, and flower gardens every single photo that was taken had an amazing backdrop. From the professional photos to the ones snapped by a cell phone we have yet to find one that isn't perfect. If you are looking for a place to have a rustic farm wedding, don't look any further Yorkie Acres is the venue for you.

We found Living Stone in our own backyard and were immediately swept away by the natural beauty of the landscape and the incredible work Heather and Django have put into making the space what it is. Words truly can not describe what they have created, from the boulders along the moss path to the hand-built mortise and tenon pavilion to the waterfall that seems to be the heartbeat of the living stone, you simply have to experience it to understand what it is. Beyond the natural beauty, Heather and Django shared with us and our families the warmest hospitality and most delicious food. We met and discussed some of our ideas, and quickly Heather had curated a menu that not only reflected who we are but would still be approachable to all of our guests. The food was locally sourced, fresh, and absolutely incredible. It is clear that Heather, Django, and their staff are passionate about what they create and serve to the people who have the privilege of experiencing everything Living Stone has to offer. The day of our wedding it rained for the entirety of the day, while we had to pivot our plans a little bit, Heather had a rain contingency plan that was executed flawlessly by her and their staff, and our day was ultimately perfect. The rain charged the creek, and the waterfall roared, and we danced the night away. We simply could not have found a place more beautiful or run by people more talented and incredible. We have and will continue to recommend Living Stone for anything one could need an event space for. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and would be well suited for any gathering of people who want to celebrate love in a truly spectacular place. My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

Where to even begin! When we found this venue, I would say that my husband and I had already toured over 10 other venues before Bella Collina and we had seen a few others that we had liked but none that we were set on that had quite the “wow” factor that Bella Collina has! We were actually just looking through venues and Bella Collina popped up and we read all the reviews and saw the awesome ratings and knew we had to check it out! From the moment we drove up the driveway and set eyes on the venue and the scenery. I knew without a doubt this would be where we would be getting married. The location is just so beautiful and the mansion is exquisite. It was perfect! Erin gave us a tour of the mansion and we instantly fell in love with everything that day. She was super friendly and answered all our questions! My husband and I both agreed that day that it was where we wanted to get married. We soon met the venue owner, Joe, and happily secured our date! Joe and Erin are both super friendly and easy to communicate with. My husband and I were super impressed with how everything was set up and how easily it is to get things scheduled with them. Their communication with us was spot on! They are so easy to work with. Something we really enjoyed was something called “Day of Interviews” where we got to come in and meet some of Bellas preferred vendors and then pick the ones we would like to work with. This helped take away a lot of the stress that lots of other engaged couples have to go through with finding vendors separately. Since our wedding ceremony was planned to be outdoors by the lake, when it came down to the last couple of days before our wedding and we had to make a decision about whether to move the ceremony inside or not because of the weather. Joe was absolutely amazing at making sure that we still got to have our dream wedding by watching the weather and helping us plan accordingly down to the last couple of hours! :) We got to have our first dance out on the balcony overlooking our guests out on the patio, which was breathtaking! All of our friends and family have been talking about it for the past couple of weeks since our wedding. Thanks to Joe, Erin, this amazing venue, and staff we got to have our dream wedding. It was everything we could have ever imagined! You can really tell that they love what they do and it shows. Thank you for helping us have our happily ever after! You really showed us that you genuinely care :) Bella Collina exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond what we could ever have imagined a wedding venue doing. Our twenty-five (25) room inn is exclusive to your guests for the weekend – no other weddings, events or random people – so that your friends and family can celebrate your wedding all weekend long! We offer the whole package, with beautiful ceremony locations, a tented reception venue on a brick courtyard nestled between a historic red barn and a picturesque meadow, and fresh, local cuisine made in-house. Our on-site team is here to work behind-the-scenes from start to finish to make sure that everything runs smoothly so you can soak in the day. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the inn maintains 19th century character and charm while adding modern conveniences. Multi-paned windows offer stunning views out toward Dewey’s Mill Pond, the Ottauquechee River, and the majestic spruce and hardwood trees that tower over the property. Each room and nuance of the inn has its own unique story to tell.

Oh, where does one start when recommending them?! As a photographer, staff communication is so important when it comes to timelines, locations on the property, etc.. Everyone I came in contact was so helpful, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. I was informed on the timeline multiple times throughout the day, and could always find someone when a question arose. Something huge that seems small was dinner. Myself along with the other vendors were fed promptly (the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding too), with a space to set our belongings, which allowed us to get right back to work and not miss a thing! It’s so important that vendors are fed quickly so we aren’t scrambling to get back out there. As a natural light photographer, the Inn was a dream. Beautiful fencing, giant trees for shade, two buildings to work with, there was no shortage of “locations” when it came to the portraits. Between, the staff, location, and professionalism I easily give them a 10/10, and hope to be back for future weddings!

They have picturesque scenery for all types of wedding themes; big beautiful rustic barn, a pond, garden, fields, and to die for chestnut trees. The recently refreshed ceremony site features artificial turf to keep it green year-round, and the expansive deck serves as a welcome escape for a breath of air during the festivities.

The Positives: Gracie, our day-of-coordinator, absolutely made the day stress-free for us. She knew when to touch base, kept giving us water to hydrate, kept anticipating our needs, and consistently took care of us. She made the entire wedding extremely smooth and made sure to keep us on schedule (without being overbearing). Abby S., our wedding planner, was such a joy to work with. She built out such a great timeline for us to follow. She helped us with our floor plan vision. And, most importantly, she kept us organized during the last stretch. If you're looking for a venue that has it all, The Milestone Georgetown is for you. It has ample space for everyone to get ready, and their pricing is overall pretty reasonable. They also provide takedown and setup services at no additional cost — which was huge for us. Their services are pretty comprehensive, which makes it less stressful to plan. They often offer open house touring, so we're able to drop in and show off the venue to our loved ones. The Negatives: If you're looking to personalize your wedding, then The Milestone isn't for you. They require you to go with their food caterer and drinks services. Their base setup time is not generous at all (5 hours). Make sure to ask for the extra hour of setup time. Our last wedding planner quit, and we weren't told of the transition at all. Their guest portal is very clunky, so communication can get a little tricky — especially during the middle stages of planning a wedding. Speaking of communication, they often take about 3 business days to get back to you. While it didn't bother us, it can get frustrating for others. They don't offer personalized food tasting. The only time you can taste their food is if they have an open vendor event or if you're willing to drive down to Dripping Springs once a quarter to try out their prefixed menu.

Our guests raved about the layout and aesthetic. Everything ran flawlessly thanks to the staff's attention to detail. A small hiccup with our caterer was smoothly handled by Chris so we could relax and enjoy our reception. The team even swiftly cleaned up some broken glass at the end so we didn't have to worry. For a stress-free wedding with beautiful ambiance, I wholeheartedly recommend Twelve29.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Barn in September 2020. In the midst of what was a very trying time with everything going on in the world, we were happy to have such a reliable venue and a good line of communication with Minette. Whenever we needed anything, she was there! Also, the venue itself is lovely, we got so many compliments from guests. The on site bridal suite is the perfect place to get ready and is so convenient to have. Overall; this is a gorgeous venue and a true hidden gem future couples should definitely consider!

My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

The team was amazing to work with. Always communicating what is going on and what will happen next. The day of the weather was terrible rain and winds. Moving everything inside 3 hours before we started messed nothing up.

As a wedding planner, The Upchurch is one of the venues at the very top of my preferred list. Every wedding I have ever planned here has been handled seamlessly by the venue's team, who truly exceeds expectations in all ways. The venue hosts are knowledgeable and attentive to couples and vendors alike and the venue itself is a perfect example of what a venue should be, both aesthetically and back-end logistically. The historic Main House includes a spacious, naturally-lit bridal suite AND a groom's space (something not seen in all venues) upstairs, with an airy and charming downstairs to host cocktail hour. The lawn and gardens throughout the property are immaculately kept up with and thoughtfully designed to blend with the seasons. The Conservatory (reception space) is one of my absolute favorites to work in as a vendor, and is gorgeous, flow-friendly, and spacious for guests - it also served as an incredible rain plan backdrop. I could not recommend The Upchurch more - every couple that I have worked with that hosts their wedding there has been extremely pleased, and as a planner, I couldn't be happier to work there

I was not aware that this hotel is able to cover a full wedding venue with a beautiful scenery overlooking the bay. We chose to do a lot of things differently than the venue usually does them, Krystl accommodated us at every turn, giving me the smoothest and most beautiful wedding weekend. She experimented a lot with us as we tinkered with layout and timeline; always kind and never frustrated. The communication was always timely. This place is so so affordable for how beautiful and accommodating they are. So many cool amenities and props. We actually rented the airbnbs as well; the most perfect weekend. I cannot recommend enough.

We had the most amazing engagement party at Blue Agave Club! The staff was extremely helpful and were extremely attentive to all needs. Our guests loved the food and drinks - they are excellent! I would recommend Blue Agave to anyone looking to host an event as the private back patio is great for large groups. We had around 85 people and decided to use the backyard as an informal cocktail space with shared appetizers and then moved to the front patio to have dinner. The evening was magical and we felt so much love and effort go into our event, we couldn't be happier with having it at Blue Agave!

Historic Acres is a stunning wedding venue and provided the best backdrop for our big day! The team was easy to work with and there was plenty of space for our guests to spread out. If you are fortunate enough to have your event outside, the flow of the venue is exceptional! What kept us from giving five stars were that the morning/early afternoon of our wedding, there was another event on site and couples touring the venue which took away from our privacy. The contract states the venue is yours after 2pm and you can pay more for it to be yours all day so if this would impact you, I would recommend doing so. We also had to make the decision the day before about being inside versus outside due to a 50/50 wedding forecast which was difficult. Finally, you are not able to store items on site prior to your wedding day. Thankfully we rented a van and paid our vendors more to pack/unpack the van so there was less of a lift for us on our big day but worth noting!

Got married here 5/11/24, the staff was very attentive, food was amazing, and the mansion was so beautiful. The 2 hours before the ceremony were chaotic since rain was on and off and we were unsure if an outdoor ceremony would happen or not. 10 minutes before the ceremony started staff ran out wiped all the chairs, and were able to make it happen! Received tons of compliments on the beauty of the venue, and how delicious the food was. 4/5 stars just because at the end of the night we were pushed out faster than our allowed 30minutes, the manager was literally locking doors as people were walking out of them, and we got a couple complaints about the bar staff. Besides that it was all amazing

From the planning team, to florals, to culinary details, to actual day of staff, the entire crew here is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We could not have asked for more on our wedding day. We could not recommend Terrain more, and wish we could host a wedding here very weekend!

Wow. My wedding was a dream, Los willows is so beautiful and to be honest, photos of the venue do not do justice of how gorgeous the venue is in person. I also had a breeze planning my wedding with them! The wedding planner(Jennifer), dj(Shane), catering, photography/videography was all included in the all inclusive price! I got to pick if I wanted photography or videography for the included hours with the price! They are truly amazing and they made myself and my husbands special day very amazing. I have djed two weddings at this venue and I can't say anything but amazing things. For me, I look for a friendly and helpful staff, along with proper accommodations and they exceed in this. Candace has been very helpful and works like I do to ensure a smooth event for the guests. I had my wedding at Victoria Ranch in February. It was perfect! The location is stunning with beautiful views and a gorgeous sunset – plenty of spots for incredible photos. Our wedding was 80 people and there were tons of spots throughout the property for people to wander, explore, and take photos, while still feeling intimate. We had a happy hour event the night before our ceremony and reception, all of which were catered by the preferred vendor, Chef Joann. The food was incredible. Hands down the best wedding food ever. We ended up staying at the property for two nights with our families and when the weather got chilly at night we ended up moving the party into the ranch itself. The ranch is charming and cozy, full of vintage tchotchkes that made this antique lover's heart melt. Perhaps most importantly, the team was easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. They were responsive and knowledgeable. I put a lot of trust in their vision and input. It was the best decision because it took a lot of the stress off of planning a wedding, knowing that the catering and venue was in good, capable hands.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and I am still getting complements on the venue and the food provided by the venue to this day. They really went above and beyond to make my day special and handled every issue that came up without bothering me with it. It was raining the day of and they made the decision to move the ceremony from the outside ceremony site to under their tent, which I was a little upset about (obviously the weather is no one’s fault, it was just unfortunate timing) and about 30 minutes before the ceremony it had stopped raining and the venue and their team moved the whole ceremony back outside! They moved all of my decorations and had everything set up beautifully before we started. The staff were also amazing and super helpful and attentive all throughout the night. They really include a lot in their packages and I couldn’t have asked for more from them. Jeremy did our ceremony and it was beautiful and really heartfelt. I won’t be having a wedding any time soon (haha) but I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a smooth, beautiful wedding.

Fun, Energy, Great Vibes! 5.0 Stars: A Truly Amazing Venue! BOOK IT!! Heartland is a wonderful location for a wedding. The barn was beautifully decorated (not to mention the amount of other decorations they already had on-site was a great way to save money), and the rolling hills made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony and pictures (especially the photo-bombing alpacas). They were so incredibly kind and wonderful to work with throughout the process. They made time to answer all of our questions and were incredibly accommodating by allowing us to take tours and re-visit as we started planning for our wedding. One of the biggest perks was having the venue for the entire weekend, which made setting up and enjoying our day that much easier. Everyone we've spoken to after the wedding have continued to say how beautiful the venue was and how it made for the absolute perfect wedding. I highly recommend Heartland to any bride looking for a beautiful wedding that's truly one-of-a-kind!

The staff at whistlin jack lodge helped cultivate the wedding I have always dreamed of. We had a small elopement ceremony with less than 10 people there. The communication from the day I toured their beautiful property all the way through to after our stay was phenomenal. I arrived to our wedding site to chairs set up, making the rest of the decorating simple. Our cabin had a beautiful flower arrangement and card making it feel very personal to us. Being that we eloped I wanted something private, the way the area is set up outside that we chose we got the most beautiful background of the river and mountain, yet it was set back enough that we got the privacy we wanted as well. How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity.
