About this venue

Blue Agave Club is part of a family of great Mexican Restaurants located in the Bay Area. Located in the heart of downtown Pleasanton, Blue Agave Club first opened its doors in April, 1997. Being the very first restaurant in the area to debut high-end Mexican cuisine, it was clear there was something special about Blue Agave from the very beginning. Boasting an impressive list of premium tequila, BAC had a huge impact on our community by introducing the art of tequila tasting. It wasn’t long before we quickly became well known for our 100% Blue Agave Tequila margaritas, featuring a secret homemade sweet and sour recipe.

    BAC is so well known in Pleasanton and surely was the best spot to host our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in 2021! Management & staff were easy to work with and helped our vision come to life. We were able to add plenty of personal touches while enjoying all that their spacious back patio has to offer. Bar? Check! Dance floor? Check! We highly recommend hosting any type of event at BAC. Cheers!

    Could not have imagined a better venue to celebrate our engagement. We hosted all of our family and friends in the back patio for dinner. The entire Blue Agave team went above and beyond to make it a perfect event — from the service, to menu, music, decor, and everything in between. Would highly recommend for any special occasion.

    We had the most amazing engagement party at Blue Agave Club! The staff was extremely helpful and were extremely attentive to all needs. Our guests loved the food and drinks - they are excellent! I would recommend Blue Agave to anyone looking to host an event as the private back patio is great for large groups. We had around 85 people and decided to use the backyard as an informal cocktail space with shared appetizers and then moved to the front patio to have dinner. The evening was magical and we felt so much love and effort go into our event, we couldn't be happier with having it at Blue Agave!
