About this venue

Big R Orchards - Wedding and Event Venue is located on top of Brushy Mountain in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Wilkesboro, NC. Enjoy the beauty and romance of 150 acres of family owned & working apple & peach orchards with a 6 acre lake and golf green peninsula with amazing mountain views. The pavilion was uniquely designed and hand-crafted by friends & neighbors. The elegant bridal suite is spacious with over 1000 sf of space, private bathroom, & hair and makeup stations. There is a full commercial caterer's kitchen, public bathrooms, and grooms suite. The open but covered grand hall is 6000 sf with 2 huge chandeliers, Edison string lights, post lights, and a huge rock fireplace. There are also motorized curtains on the west side that can be closed or opened with a touch of a button. The dance floor is spacious and magical, covered with Edison string lights and open to the sky. We would love to give you a tour of this magical place! Cheers! Scott Robinson

    I had my wedding here this May and it was the most beautiful landscape and pavilion. The bridal suite is my favorite. The owner of the venue was very helpful with setting up our tour and use of the property for my bridal pictures, and he helped us on the day of the wedding with fixing our arbor and everything! The price is VERY reasonable!

    Such a beautiful venue! Scott, the host, is amazing and very responsive and works super hard to make sure your day is amazing. I am so happy we went with Big R Orchards! It is so beautiful year round and there is a really good rain plan! Thank you so much Scott!
