Hi, my name is Maria Davis! I am a documentary style photographer capturing love stories on both film and digital. I am a homegrown and local Winston-Salem, NC girl with a second location in Boston, MA. From the moment we booked MTD Photo Co. for our wedding, we were impressed by her responsiveness, kindness, and general wedding knowledge. Maria, our lead photographer, was an absolute joy to work with - she put me at ease throughout the day and made sure we captured all the special moments, both posed and candid. Maria was the best photographer for our wedding! We chose her for her bright and vibrant style of photos and we couldn’t be more happy with our decision. My husband and I are not big picture takers and are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but Maria was the best person to walk us through the steps. We first met her for our engagement photos and she made the process so much fun. We all laughed so much and it made my husband and I that much more excited for our wedding! On the day of our wedding, Maria was energetic and welcoming to everyone. She gave clear directions and made sure everyone was comfortable. She sent us the perfect sneak peak photos as well. We got a few couple, bridal party, and detail pictures. I love how we got a sneak peak of the whole day and we cannot wait to the rest!

Our wedding photographer and photos were one of our top priorities when planning our wedding. One of our fears about hiring our photographer was worrying that there would be an awkward chemistry between us. It is the most important day of your life and you are relying on someone you've just met to capture basically every second of it. We didn't have to worry about that at all with Maria. From our first inquiry call to our engagement session, Maria made us feel comfortable and we knew instantly that we would be in good hands. Our wedding day was jam-packed it seemed! Right when Maria arrived, she jumped right in and never stopped. We felt a little bit like we were rushed, but we truly were just on time and making sure we captured what was needed, as well as be where we needed to be. She was great at prepping and sticking to our shot list to make sure we didn't forget anything, but she was also open and willing to take suggestions or requests on the fly. We don't think anything was missed and can't wait to see our full album! We've received our sneak peeks and oh my goodness are they amazing. So many small moments were captured; everything from our goofiness and bellowing laughs to the more intimate first look and parent/child dances. Thank you Maria for all of your hard work, talent, and taking charge to ensure not a moment was missed.

Grab a coffee with her and you'll instantly want to be friends - which is really important for wedding day since your wedding photographer is with you all day!
