About this venue
Chateau Vie is a farmyard wedding venue in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. Over 70 years old, this historic French colonial estate offers couples antique charm with contemporary amenities. Featuring a serene lake, romantic pavilion, and modern, elegant interior, Chateau Vie is a superb venue for those seeking a sophisticated wedding.

Formal Garden (ceremony option)
Beautiful European style formal garden with shaped greenery, roses, string lights, and surrounded by stone walls to give a "courtyard" feel.
The formal garden, is a 1/2 acre of manicured landscape. There are over 200 plants. Shaped evergreen hedges, and trees line the edges, and in every direction there are blooming roses. There is a beautiful white arbor at one end, and a giant Magnolia tree at the other end. Both make a great backdrop for a wedding. The Garden has string lights hanging over giving it a magical feel. There is also a 200 ft stone wall surrounding the garden.

Wonderful Venue and Owners
Chateau Vie is a Beautiful, Romantic Venue. We have worked with the owners for many years. They go above and beyond to make a Wedding Day run smoothly for the Couple and for the vendors. Our Favorite Place to work.
my dream wedding
My fiance and I had a perfect wedding at Chateau Vie! Both of there venues were beautiful, but the garden fit my style.
Fairytale wedding
We were so happy to find this little gem. We searched all over NC, and when we saw the packages available at Chateau Vie we honestly thought it was too good to be true. When we toured, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The food was amazing, the DJ kept us dancing, and we LOVED our photos (Amir Luna photography!).
Great Place!
Choosing Chateau Vie as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the start, their communication was transparent, and prompt, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The venue was elegant, and truly unique among the places we searched. Everything flowed smoothly on our wedding day, and the pictures turned out SO awesome! I was IN LOVE with the amazing bridal suite they have, which allowed us to relax and get ready with plenty of room. We highly recommend Chateau Vie to any couple looking for a great wedding experience.
