The venue at Pachaug Cottages is an absolute dream! They hosted us for our ceremony and reception of about 75 people on June 25 2022. With the ceremony space right on the lake, we were even able to arrive and depart by boat! The whole day went flawlessly and we definitely recommend having your wedding here! Some of our family even booked the venue for their own wedding this past summer and it was so fun to revisit the location and see all the new additions. The brand new pavilion is STUNNING. 10/10 would recommend 3

From the chapel to reception everything is done with a hidden efficiency, the guest really seemed to relax and enjoy the surroundings and the great food. The banquet manager is attentive to every detail without being overbearing.

Strock from the very start was my first choice in venue. Their pricing is very reasonable and includes catering, which is more than you can ask for with many venues. They were so responsive throughout the whole process and made everything so easy to deal with. I adored everyone that worked here and I'm so happy that they could be part of my day.

We just had our wedding at the Ellis Ranch Event Center last weekend. It was the perfect venue for my perfect wedding! It is a beautiful space and it is so spacious! There was plenty of room for all of our guests to play games, dance, do the Photo Booth, and have a great time. Plus the owners of Ellis Ranch are so kind and helpful. What a creative concept for a new space. This is such a fun and one of a kind option for couples. This is a perfect space for music festival loving couples, gives a very ACL type of vibe. It's easy to envision eclectic or boho styles of weddings taking place here. Check it out, they also offer some pretty unique venue elements such as canoe beverage station, teepees, and hand crafted wooden furniture for your event. Added plus, the owners are so great to work with. They are very communicative and intentional in helping you achieve your vision.

In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at DelVal boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. Terrain at DelVal is located at 2100 Lower State Rd, 1 hour outside of Philadelphia.

Our wedding at Terrain Gardens at DelVal was absolutely perfect! It was a dream!!! I’m breaking it down below because Terrain exceeded my expectations in every category possible. I cannot recommend them and this venue more highly. Food: This was probably the most important thing to me and my then fiancé when picking a venue. I wanted my guests to say, “wow, this is the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding!” …Well, goal accomplished! I heard that multiple times and people are still raving about the food weeks later!! The cocktail hour was extravagant and extensive!! And the dinner did not disappoint! Dessert was amazing as well. I don’t know what else to say but it was sooo much food and sooooo delicious! Venue space: It’s spacious and absolutely beautiful. I had about 165 guests (176 is the max) and it worked perfectly! The long farm tables layout for dinner is stunning. The dance floor area is huge. The outdoor space is perfect and a lot of my guests hung out out there throughout the evening. They set up a bar and s’mores by the fire pits outside so it made the space very usable and welcoming. We had our ceremony inside because it was in July and I didn’t want guests to be hot and that worked out well, the front half of the room had chairs while the back half had cocktail tables set up where people could stand and enjoy their drinks during the ceremony - which worked great with the margarita greeting we selected! Wedding Coordinator: At Terrain included with your wedding you are assigned a coordinator after booking your date. I can’t tell you what an incredible value I felt like this was! Our coordinator, Matt, was absolutely amazing and there’s no way our wedding would have been the dream it was without him! Matt and the Terrain team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with everything involving our big day. We met with Matt every month or so leading up to the wedding and had clear things to work on, discuss, and decide for each meeting - this high level of organization made planning so much easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable! The day of we also had Morgan join Matt in coordinating, everything seemed to flow so smoothly and effortlessly and I know that’s only due to how hard they were working behind the scenes!! As the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing, they made everything go off without a hitch and took such good care of me! Terrain Design (Florist): I used Terrain Design for my florals and worked with Stephanie - I can’t express how impressed and overwhelmed I was with her and her team’s work. I am very particular and threw a lot of pretty unique ideas out there. I cried the second I first walked into the venue!! I was so blown away by the table settings. The bud vase and candle table scapes created the most beautiful, whimsical scene. Stephanie and her team worked some magic to deliver everything I’ve ever wanted but could have never envisioned myself. It still amazes me how well she understood my vision and made it come to life beautifully! Thank you so much Terrain for making all my wedding dreams come true, making my big day so incredibly special, and for being so kind and accommodating throughout it all!

I have worked with Camelot Meadows both as a mobile bar service and Coordinator. Their venue is beautiful with many unique aspects to it that other venues do not have to offer. Every room is fantastic, even the catering kitchen. I have worked with many venues and they have been one of the best I have worked with and continue to work with as we are consistently booked there through the upcoming years. I recommend them to all of our clients still looking for a venue or one that would like to work with us but need to know what venues we work with. Our journey into the wedding industry began when we started looking at venues for our daughter’s wedding. We found high costs and many restrictions at most venues. Having a background in customer service, we were inspired to create a unique wedding venue in Fort Worth with a reasonable price tag and very few restrictions. In seven years, we’ve made numerous improvements and additions to our venue. We have now hosted 500 + weddings. Guests will often come up to us and tell us that it was the most interesting and fun wedding that they have ever attended. This makes our job very rewarding. We enjoy our work and will always do our best to make sure the day is special for each and every one that visits our beautiful venue.

This was the best venue ever!! The entire experience from our first tour to the big day was amazing! The venue owners truly care about the couples they host here. We were starting our wedding planning from scratch and they helped us plan the most perfect day in less than 4 months. They were always there to help out and made the whole day run so smoothly. We even made changes to our grand exit the day before the wedding to include bubbles and they made it happen for us! This place was absolutely beautiful and our guests had the best time! Our venue was originally built in 1942, and used as munitions storage during World War 2. After that, it was repurposed for different industrial uses until the 1990s, when we moved in and set up our antique shop. Thirty years later, the area has changed incredibly and we no longer work in antiques!

We had our wedding at the Westside Warehouse this summer. We had the best wedding ever thanks to our venue choice!! The inside event space is large and was perfect for 160 people. There is also a spacious courtyard outside for a cocktail hour which was beautiful! Julien was so easy to work with from the beginning to the day of our wedding. He was responsive, organized, helpful, and kind. He made sure all of our needs were taken care of to ensure a smooth wedding day and reception. The bridal suite and grooms suite were a plus as they allowed us both a spacious getting ready area before the ceremony. You can make this venue whatever you would like it to be and choose from many different vendors. I would highly recommend the Westside Warehouse to anyone!

As a wedding photographer, I'm always thrilled when I get an inquiry for a wedding at the Montague Retreat. It's one of my all time favorite places to photograph. Their team is highly experienced and very thoughtful. I know I can rely on them with any help I may need. The landscapes are dreamy, and the reception hall is beautiful. The long dirt road that leads to the retreat makes for beautiful New England portraits, and the view from the hill at sunset is unforgettable. 10/10 would highly recommend the Montague Retreat Center. I'd love to get married there!

We held our wedding at WithinSodo in September 2020. Prior to the pandemic, we had toured the place and fell in love. It was a perfect mix of industrial and romance, and I loved how we could choose what rooms we wanted to rent. The price was also excellent especially compared to other seattle venues. When the pandemic hit, Kate was so accommodating and kept up to date w the state’s guidelines. She worked with us to figure out a plan that we’d be happy with. We ended up just having a small ceremony and received a partial refund back. Even though the ceremony was only a couple hours long, it was perfect. This was absolutely the best experience we could have asked for. The owners were so easy to work with. You really felt like they were in this business because they love what they do! We did not have to worry about anything, the venue was perfect for our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did to help make our day so fun and memorable.

My wife and I were able to focus on enjoying our wedding because Ben, his mom, and the other staff were so detail oriented. Worth every penny. Serenity Ridge was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was extremely responsive via email and phone leading up to the big event, answering all of our questions thoroughly. On the wedding day itself, they went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were constantly available to assist with anything we needed, responding within seconds to requests. Their flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute changes was invaluable. We couldn't have asked for more attentive, approachable, kind, and easy to work with people helping us pull off the wedding. Honestly, Serenity Ridge played a huge role in making our wedding absolutely perfect and effortless. We didn't have to worry about a thing all day long thanks to their top-notch coordination. We loved every second working with them and couldn't recommend Serenity Ridge highly enough for your special day!

Whistlin’ Jacks made our wedding so easy. You can truly customize your wedding to be uniquely yours by going with them. Our wedding has people coming from nearby and out of state. We loved the fact that it’s located in the shadow of Mt. Rainier, on the gorgeous Naches River and in one of our favorite forests of all time. For us, it was the destination without the cost. Us and our guests made amazing memories before, during, and after the wedding. We used their cabins and lodge rooms for our guests stay on site with us. In the evening we sat around a campfire before enjoying a soak in the hot tubs. The wedding day started with decorating the tent and aisle with flowers. Bridal parties went off to get ready and then we had our first look. We had it on the backside of our cabin along the river, not only was it pretty but it was super private and intimate. We used the river and forest as the backdrop for the ceremony. It was a memorable aisle to walk down, and the pictures couldn’t have turned out better. Whistlin’ Jacks can cater or bar tend, but we opted to hire in a taco truck. We filled a canoe with ice and beverages. Whistlin’ Jacks refilled the ice for us as needed to keep the guests happy. It got a little chilly in the evening so they brought down a propane heater. Whistlin’ Jacks was extremely easy to coordinate with, and was very thoughtful to details. They even blocked off the road so no one could interrupt the ceremony.

We absolutely LOVED working with Grbic Events. Lejla (the wedding coordinator) was so fabulous and helped the day run as smoothly as possible. She went above and beyond to make sure my wedding vision came fruition. The night of the event she was out of the floor and her team was constantly checking in and making sure everyone had what they needed. The team was so great to work with and I would 10/10 recommend this event space for any event. The event space is gorgeous and the outdoor area really helps accommodate for large weddings. We had about 300 people and it never felt too full or crowded. We got so many compliments on the food. The food was delicious and everyone loved that it was a little different than typical wedding food. This event space is spectacular and I would highly recommend it to any bride!

They made everything very easy & were extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process. The Farmhouse was an added bonus, especially since we are not local to TN.

Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

My review is from the perspective of another vendor in this industry - event rentals. I have worked with Chanel for years and she is always organized and helpful to her clients and willing to work with our delivery schedule as it is everchanging. She cares about her brides and refers them to me as she finds those who need place settings... a pleasure to work with her.

We used this beautiful space for a Young Life banquet in the fall of 2022. This is a truly gorgeous space both inside and out! It has a homey feel inside with exquisitely picked furnishings and also lends itself to be made your very own with your own decor. Outside is right on the Llano river and comes equipped with outdoor fireplaces and games of all sorts. It even has a putting green right outside the gorgeous floor to ceiling sliding doors! It makes the perfect backdrop to any event you have planned. Personnel were super easy going and ready to help however they could. The upstairs is perfect for a quiet night after the big event and can also serve as the perfect getting ready space for you and your party. The kitchen was stunning with anything you could possibly need for entertaining and the bar was fully stocked with all the crowd favorites. (Although we didn’t use this, lol)

A few days ago we celebrated our wedding at Rancho Media Luna, I was able to express so many feelings with which my husband and I feel identified with respect to them that we want to sum it up in one word SPECTACULAR!! We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at Tijeras Creek from start to finish. Logan and Bryce were our points of contact and they made every piece of the planning process seamless. We opted not to have a day of coordinator and the way the Tijeras Creek team was there for us, felt like the same level of support. They had a ton of recommendations for vendors if we needed (we used the DJ they recommended and he was amazing!) The backdrop of the ceremony was picture perfect. They also had a bunch of recommendations for spots on the course to take our photos after the ceremony and gave us a golf carts to use with our photographer. The communication was always very thorough and quick to get back to me on the millions of questions I asked. They have a ton of options for food selection and style of service but we really had our heart set on Mexican food. We had been to Tijeras Creek for their Taco Tuesday so we asked if we could have that as an option. They were more than happy to accommodate and our guests RAVED about how good the food was! Everything about our wedding day was a 10/10. Thank you Tijeras Creek team!!!

We are so glad we chose Peacock Reserve for our wedding! The venue is absolutely beautiful and all the details they have put into it make for an amazing place. All of our guests commented how great the venue was and we couldn’t agree more. Lisa was amazing from start to finish and really helped make our wedding a stress free wonderful day! The covered pavilion was perfect for our ceremony so we didn’t have to worry about rain or changing location. The space outside was so fun for cocktail hour and everyone loved the detail in the bar area. The reception space had so much versatility, we were able to use different types of tables and really make it what we wanted. The cabins onsite were also amazing and allowed for a great convenience for our friends and family to stay on property. Overall our experience with Peacock Reserve was wonderful and we cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend!!!

I could not say enough about how much we love The Morada! My husband and I had a hard time finding a venue that didn't feel like a classic, cheesy wedding venue and felt like us. As soon as we set foot on the property we knew this place had our hearts! The entire space is lovely and our guests have not stopped talking about it. Not only is everything about the space incredible, but everyone we have worked with from our initial inquiry has been so kind and helpful. Devon was extremely quick to respond to any and every question I had. Hunter and Pablo were there during the wedding weekend and truly made the weekend and the day run SO smoothly! If you have the opportunity to get married at The Morada I HIGHLY recommend. I would book this venue 100x over. We love The Morada!!!!

We loved having our wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club. The venue was very prompt and easy to communicate with during the planning process, which helped make things stress-free. The space itself is clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained - perfect for both our ceremony and reception. A highlight was using their grand piano on stage during our mother daughter dance. It was a special moment. They also made the rental process smooth by offering most items directly through their preferred vendor. Overall, fantastic service and great value for a San Diego wedding venue. The stunning architecture and coastal views provided a perfect backdrop for our big day.

My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

The professionalism was like non other! They made sure my wedding was absolutely perfect! I got married on the hottest day of the year with a heat index of 119 F and the tent kept all of my guests cool! Emma did an outstanding job and her communication was stellar! Pete offered rides for guests on his golf cart throughout the wedding to make sure people did not have to walk far! I knew from the moment I took a tour here that I just had to have my wedding here! They offer many decorations that you can add to with your own hint of color to make your night beautiful! I needed to change my date unexpectedly and they were able to accommodate without any issues! I heard they were planning on making more improvements on years to come with an addition of a new barn and that is just so exciting for all the future brides! How can you make improvements on something that was already so perfect! All brides should save their time and visit this venue first because I know you will just fall in love with it! I think I am one of the very few brides that can say nothing went wrong on my special day and it was all due to the help of Emma, Pete, and the Northfork staff! P.s. I was looking over from previous reviews and brides have full capability of choosing their own DJ and food vendor, but Northfork offers a nice list of PREFERRED vendors that work well to help with the search! I chose all my vendors (Uncle Bubs and DJUj) from their list and my night could not have been more perfect!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
