About this venue

Greenock Manor is a 150 year old Farm house with towering giant trees (they are grand old grandpa's and we love them!) The Manor is a beautiful restored traditional American Victorian style farm house with a delightful wrap around balcony. We aim at a homely feel for our bridal families to reduce stress. We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

Description

For those who don't want to say their vows at an impersonal court house and want to enjoy beauty and romantic atmosphere at Greenock. 2 hour wedding ceremony and photos on our grounds and in the Manor house. Choice of the ceremony at our wedding arbor in the forest clearing or inside at our fireplace. Use of white lanterns/shepherd hooks/basic decor -our team sets this up. After photos guests leave to celebrate at a local restaurant. Bride and Groom return to stay overnight in Honeymoon Suite

Arrive at Greenock Manor dressed and ready and enjoy the beauty of our grounds so say your vows. Check in Friday afternoon, checking out Sunday. includes all basic decor and props, table chairs, dance floor 800ft of fairy lights, firepit, lawn games, also includes 4 double bedrooms sleeping 8 guests for the whole weekend. Extra Cottages available on request. Wedding rehearsal and setting up done Friday evening to reduce stress and so much more! Nearest hotel 5min walk away for additional guests!

Description

Check in Friday morning 8am and check out Saturday morning. Includes most of what you will need in terms of tables, chairs, dance floor, coolers, cake displays, seating chart, 800ft of fairy lights, lawn games and other decor items. The Honeymoon suite is included for the full day for the Bride to get ready in. Also included is Groomsmen room to get ready in. Nearest hotel is a 5min walk from us.

    spent a whole weekend here for my wedding. If you're looking for a stress free and organized wedding Chanel is your girl. She had a complete timeline for all things and makes sure the bride doesn't have to do a thing. Her venue is very beautiful, vintage, and just perfect! The rooms are beautiful, however the only downfall we had were the beds were not comfortable at all which made it difficult to fall asleep. We had her husband Jim officiate our wedding as well, he is just as helpful and sweet as Chanel is.

    We are so happy you had a happy and beautiful wedding at Greenock. The full weekend packages help reduce stress and add lots more time for memories that are cherished forever and the sparkler send off is always so much fun. Ps. The mattresses are memory foam and most people love them and sleep in as they are so comfy - but I guess there are some who prefer a harder mattress. We have 2 bedroom suites that have a sturdier orthopedic mattress and should you visit us for any anniversary we will book those for you both we would love to have you visit us again in future. Wishing you both so much more love and happiness in your future together.

    We had an incredible experience having our wedding at Greenock Manor. We decided a small, 25 person micro-wedding was what we wanted and could afford and Chanel & Jim pulled it off flawlessly and threw everything they had into making sure our day was as magical as possible. From beginning to end Chanel made sure we knew what was happening, kept all our needs and requests in mind and created such a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere during the ceremony & reception. We recommend everyone we know to go here if you’re looking for the perfect wedding! My family kept saying how incredibly impressed they were with Greenock’s beauty and Chanel’s charisma and hostess abilities! Together Chanel and Jim make a dream team, Chanel orchestrated the whole event while Jim officiated and DJ’ed - it wasn’t easy either with a guest list full of non-English speaking family as well! The wedding suite was also the highlight of the night, it was so nice to just finally kick off our shoes in the end without anything to worry about and soak in the jacuzzi to melt our worries away! Chanel’s recommendations for vendors was the best as well, the catering (onsite next door!) was out of this world on top of it all!

    We recently had the most beautiful elopement wedding at Greenock Manor in Orange, Virginia, and I just have to share our incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Chanel, our host, made us feel like the most special couple in the world. Her warmth and attention to detail truly made our day unforgettable. The outdoor ceremony was stunning, set against the backdrop of the charming older house, and the dancing on the porch added a magical touch to our celebration. Chanel also recommended an amazing caterer, officiant, and photographer, and we couldn't have been happier with each of them. They all contributed to making our day perfect!
