From a greenhouse that can house 130+ for your reception, to a 250 year old oak tree to be married under, Avonlea Farms has you set for a unique venue. We love hosting your special day and try to make every detail shine for you - from a bridal suite and groom's cottage to get ready in to a golf cart crew that drives you and your guests around the property. We will do everything in our power to make sure you have a fantastic day!

The Lakeside: The edge of our small lake is perfect for intimate ceremonies.

Our venue offers everything needed to create your perfect event.

Avonlea Farms is a budding celebration venue in Virginia. Nestled in soft rolling hills and quiet forests, the 64-acre farm is home to several wedding vignette sites designed to make every wedding here feel unique. The vintage glass greenhouse on our private lake is available for receptions. 25X62. Can seat up to 200 guests.

    Choosing Avonlea Farms to be our wedding venue in September 2024 was the easiest decision we made while planning our wedding. Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the owners, Clint & Debbie, are wonderful. From the initial tour to our wedding day, Avonlea Farms and their staff made us feel loved, heard, and valued. During the tour, we quickly fell in love with the vintage glass greenhouse, the wedding tree with pews, and the quiet forests. As two nature-lovers, my husband and I immediately knew this was the perfect place to celebrate our love with friends & family. Over two months later, we still have guests telling us how stunning our wedding venue was. Aside from the physical venue, working with the Avonlea Farms staff was a dream. It is clear that the owners, Clint & Debbie, pour their heart and soul into the venue & their couples. Debbie is kind, hard-working, and calm. Clint is easy to communicate with, accommodating, and dedicated. The rest of the staff is just as warm, flexible, and eager to help. I could go on & one about why you should pick Avonlea Farms, but to sum it up… you won’t find a better wedding venue. From the stunning grounds to the hard-working & kind-hearted staff to the unique venue perks (“pay-it-forward” decor, “emergency day-of” kit, golf cart transportation), your wedding day is guaranteed to be a dream. Overall, my husband and I cannot recommend Avonlea Farms enough. Don’t wait, book now! We promise you won’t be disappointed.

    Beautiful venue, absolutely gorgeous. Staff was friendly and helpful. Personally, if I could re-do anything, I'd hire a different month of coordinator. I felt like I was an irritation, instead of special on my already stressful big day.

    Jamie and her team are absolutely incredible. She hands down made our day run smoothly and went above and beyond for me leading up to our wedding day. I can’t thank her enough. This venue books up fast so go tour dates while you can.
