Our wedding at district winery was absolutely beautiful! From our first tour we saw the beauty in the space and the team at District Winery is awesome. We loved the fact that we could have an indoor ceremony that felt like it was outside and the team seamlessly flipped the space for the reception. Tori, our coordinator, was so easy to work with, answering all of our questions and worked tirelessly to get the layout for our reception just perfect! She also worked flawlessly with our wedding coordinator, which took so much stress off of us leading into our wedding day. The food, wine, and drinks were also delicious and extra points for their knowledge of hosting Jewish weddings with all of our traditions!

We absolutely loved Sweeney Barn as our wedding venue! The space was stunning, with bright, natural lighting in the ceremony area that made everything feel warm and inviting. One of our favorite features was the ability to have an outdoor cocktail hour during golden hour—it created such a beautiful and magical atmosphere. The grand reception space, with its gorgeous chandeliers, added an elegant touch, and there were so many versatile areas for guests to explore, including an outdoor space perfect for stepping out for fresh air or enjoying a cigar. Sweeney Barn truly had everything we wanted for a perfect wedding. Andrea, in particular, was incredible to work with—she made the whole planning process seamless. We also worked with many of their preferred vendors, all of whom provided top-notch service and high-quality products. It was a dream come true, and we can’t recommend this venue enough!

As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. We first visited The Market at Grelen in the middle of December, and immediately knew that if it could look that beautiful in winter, it was going to be amazing for our October wedding. We had no idea how right we were. Grelen is filled with so much nature, is incredibly peaceful, and unbelievably gorgeous at all times of the year. The clear-top tent was a showstopper and all of our guests remarked how unique and beautiful it was, especially with the string lights. We were able to use almost all of the grounds for the most spectacular photos, from the greenest fields to their apple orchards and more. But most importantly, our ceremony location (the Berry Lawn) was just perfect. We had a smaller wedding with 80 guests and they fit so comfortably there, though the space could easily fit 150 at least. It was just the most beautiful location to get married, with the rolling mountains behind you as you say your vows. Their team was helpful from the very first day we stepped foot on the grounds, through all the wedding planning, and the wedding weekend itself. They sent us recommendations on vendors (which help us build our dream team -- they were all amazing!), kept us up to date on everything going on at the venue and shop (which has really good food, by the way. We had lunch there with our wedding party families before the wedding rehearsal), and double confirmed all details the week before the wedding. We also stayed at their 118 Suite property and really loved it! Also, they let you use some of their flowers and trees! This helped us save a bit on florals and really elevated every location. Our favorite were the magnolia trees in the tent :) Overall -- you will have an absolutely stunning wedding if you get married at Grelen!

Worsell Manor has a beautiful manor home and a barn that has countless areas to take photographs. The inside of the home is perfect for the bridal party to get ready, too. What an amazing manor and grounds. I can't say enough how well the Rixey Manor estate, owner/manager Isadora and the manor staff helped coordinate and support my daughter's wedding and reception. Working under a very short time schedule and across three different time zones - my daughter stationed in Italy and then in Japan, myself in San Diego, and the wedding event in Virginia - all required dedication, flexibility, prompt responses and superior follow-up. Isadora and Grace communicated and worked seamlessly with all the wedding vendors, assuring a well-timed and beautiful wedding ceremony. I truly appreciated the Rixey Manor work portal and detailed planning documents that helped me keep organized, updated and informed. From start to finish, our experience with the Gala was incredible. In a competitive and expensive industry, the Gala 417 stands alone in its food quality, lovable staff, and dedication to its clients. During our planning process, the Gala staff was responsive and courteous even when we had some off the wall ideas. They love to support creative visions and help you make your vision come to life. Early on, we picked up on how comfortable our vendors were to work with the Gala team, which is a testament to their ability to work as a team to accomplish their clients wedding wishes. Weeks after our wedding, we continue to receive messages from friends and family who rave about the venue, food and drink, and staff. Fitting our theme (enchanted forest), Bel Air has a very well-kept garden, a gorgeous path of aged trees, and of course the spacious rustic barn to compliment every aspect of our “Enchanted Quince” event. The space is gorgeous with minimal decor, or a blank canvas for creativity. Perfect to begin and end the day in one place, from hair and makeup to end of reception, and with all the magical moments in between. We used every spot of the venue and worked with Maria to get the lights to change colors during the event as we progressed through different segments and performances of the night. She was great to work with before and during the event. We are very thankful for her receptivity to our questions and ideas as we put together a very busy event. Our guests loved the beauty of the venue and vendors who were new to Bel Air were stunned by such a gorgeous place in such a convenient location. My recommendation is: book early!

Comus Farm is stunning. The entire property is beautifully maintained with numerous options for ceremony, reception, and photos. The house is perfect for wedding party to stay at and get ready in. Lauren and Kara are the SWEETEST and most patient people who made the process very smooth. I have an anxiety disorder and they both were so kind and easy to work which helped me so much. They coordinated with the vendors, stocked the house with breakfast for the bridal party, set up all of the decorations perfectly, and took care of every detail without hesitation. Truly exceptional service and worth every penny. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible experience having our wedding at Greenock Manor. We decided a small, 25 person micro-wedding was what we wanted and could afford and Chanel & Jim pulled it off flawlessly and threw everything they had into making sure our day was as magical as possible. From beginning to end Chanel made sure we knew what was happening, kept all our needs and requests in mind and created such a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere during the ceremony & reception. We recommend everyone we know to go here if you’re looking for the perfect wedding! My family kept saying how incredibly impressed they were with Greenock’s beauty and Chanel’s charisma and hostess abilities! Together Chanel and Jim make a dream team, Chanel orchestrated the whole event while Jim officiated and DJ’ed - it wasn’t easy either with a guest list full of non-English speaking family as well! The wedding suite was also the highlight of the night, it was so nice to just finally kick off our shoes in the end without anything to worry about and soak in the jacuzzi to melt our worries away! Chanel’s recommendations for vendors was the best as well, the catering (onsite next door!) was out of this world on top of it all!

Jack and I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding than The Club at Glenmore in Keswick, Virginia. Growing up in Charlottesville, I knew that I wanted to get married in my hometown. Wineries are a popular choice in Charlottesville, but they are mostly located in the surrounding counties which require a long drive from hotels. Winery weddings can also require coordinating a lot of rentals (decor, tables, chairs, etc.) and finding a caterer. After researching all of the venues around Charlottesville, we chose The Club at Glenmore or many reasons. One, the beautiful and convenient location. Glenmore was conveniently located only about 10 minutes from our hotel block on Pantops which made it easy for guests and shuttles. Even though the location is close to town, it is situated inside a beautiful gated neighborhood with views of the mountains, rolling horse pastures, and well maintained golf course. So it feels like it's out in the country without actually being that far away from town! Two, the full service. Glenmore provides so much for its couples! It has an amazing on-site chef so we did not need to find a separate catering company. This was one of our main deciding factors! Couples even do the food & wine tasting at the venue which makes for a fun day trip :) Glenmore provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception chairs, tables, glassware, serving ware, flatware, etc. So we did not need to rent anything except purchase some decorations. Speaking of decorations, Glenmore has many decor pieces that we were able to use! They have arbors, prosecco walls, a boxwood wall for photo opps, votive candle and holders, charger plates, up-lights, bistro lights, etc. Three, the amenities. Getting ready spaces, ceremony locations, cocktail terrace, reception ballroom - Glenmore has it all! Glenmore has a beautiful bridal suite that the ladies in my bridal party were able to use all morning. The bridal suite has plenty of room to get ready in, hang dresses in, store decor in, and even take pictures in. There is a separate space downstairs where the guys can get ready in too! We all enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon together in these spaces while eating breakfast and lunch prepared for by Glenmore! The space was also convenient for our vendors too. They could come and check in with me throughout the morning since I was getting ready on-site. There are many ceremony locations to choose from if you want your ceremony at Glenmore. We actually switched our ceremony location within about 2 weeks of the wedding and Glenmore was very accommodating with this switch. Finally, the beautiful ballroom was another major deciding factor for us. We had our wedding in the summer, so we knew we wanted to have the reception indoors in an air conditioned room. Four, the staff. Glenmore takes pride in providing top notch service to its clients. Kim, the event coordinator at Glenmore, helped us so much from start to finish. She walked us through the wedding process, answered the many questions we had, worked with all of our vendors, met with us for our tasting and walkthroughs, made sure that all of our requests were met, and coordinated the entire Glenmore team on our wedding day. If you are looking for a beautiful full-service wedding venue with everything including an amazing on-site caterer, top notch staff, convenient location, and gorgeous views, Glenmore is the place for you!!

All services met my expectations and I feel that all vendors went above and beyond to meet our expectations. One of the things that I love the most was that the day of the wedding the owner checked on us several times throughout the day and was, along with her staff, on site throughout the ceremony and reception to ensure everything went smoothly. We cannot say enough about the high-quality service, vendors, and overall experience that we had. Would highly recommend.! At the end of June 2025, my daughter held her wedding reception at Historic Jasmine. (We had purchased the Weekend Destination package, so my daughter and MANY of her friends enjoyed overnights at Historic Jasmine on Friday and Saturday with the main event held on Saturday.) If I could rate Historic Jasmine with 100 stars I would! From Day One of inquiring about Historic Jasmine, its manager, Ashton, was absolutely FANTASTIC! He remained that way throughout the ENTIRETY of the process as well as AFTERWARDS! Ashton's replies were ALWAYS incredibly prompt and thorough. He picked up on "implied tasks" and provided responses to those as well. He provided input to questions I asked that had nothing to do with Historic Jasmine but with weddings and receptions in general. He spent plenty of time with my daughter and me working out the details. He was ALWAYS willing to help and he always did! Ashton is the face of this family-run business. His fine character and stellar attitude epitomized that of his mom, dad, and brother who work so diligently behind the scenes, most often without notice. I am not exaggerating when I say, "The entire family is AMAZING, truly amazing!" (When I met the dad and brother, I felt as if I were speaking with Ashton! :)) Without doubt, Historic Jasmine reflects this family's time, effort, and attention to create a PHENOMENAL venue! It is a STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL place, outside and inside! GORGEOUS, VIBRANT landscaping surrounded by woods outside - historical and nostalgic decor inside mixed with modern conveniences (to include abundant bathrooms) - are at the ready to warmly welcome guests. Our caterer - Edwards Catering - was thrilled to learn we had contracted with Historic Jasmine. He has catered there for more than 15 years and greatly appreciates its setup for his services. Speaking of food, I am reminded that my daughter and her friends were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and breakfast items awaiting them in the kitchen in the morning - we did not know such was part of the weekend package so they were thrilled to discover such! I could go on and on about our positive experiences with Historic Jasmine! I will summarize by saying, in my opinion, having checked out a plethora of venues, Historic Jasmine was and is THE ABSOLUTE BEST VENUE! Without question, it is a reflection of the family who runs it, also THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

My now-husband and I actually booked this venue sight unseen and I couldn't be happier with our decision. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, and OFW at Hartland played such a huge role in making it so special. The "virtual tour" online was so helpful and very accurate. When I first visited in person, I was pleased to see that it looked just like the pictures online - even more beautiful in person! We had 50 guests and this venue felt like the perfect fit for that size, but it could absolutely accommodate a much larger wedding. I didn't hire a planner, I planned it myself, so it was very nice to have day-of coordinators as part of the package. I initially spoke with Sarah P., Director of Sales & Ops and she was very friendly, welcoming, and informative. I then worked closely with event coordinator Jamie R. leading up to the wedding. She was so helpful in answering questions, accommodating during our walkthroughs, and a HUGE help day-of. Caroline J. was our second day-of coordinator and was also very kind, helpful, and on top of everything. They made sure everything ran smoothly (setting up centerpieces, guest book table, signage, seating chart, etc.) so I didn't have to worry about any of that before the ceremony. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautiful vineyard views, gorgeous landscaping, and so many picture-perfect locations for photos. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. It's incredibly well maintained and has such a welcoming, elegant atmosphere while still feeling relaxed and comfortable. The manor house has a beautiful get-ready room for the bridal party, another for the groom/groomsmen, and multiple other sitting rooms. The manor and pavilion are conveniently close to one another, so guests were able to easily transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner/reception. There is also tons of parking available. As I mentioned, each staff member was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. They were professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Having a team that was so organized and responsive made the entire experience much less stressful. They were also proactive in communicating a rain plan with me the week of the wedding. Fortunately, the rain held off and we were able to have our ceremony outside, but transitioning into the pavilion works as a perfect rain plan if needed. We truly couldn't have chosen a better venue. If you're looking for a beautiful winery with amazing scenery, a wonderful team, and a place that will make your wedding unforgettable, I can't recommend Old Farm Winery at Hartland enough. We will always cherish the memories we made there.

I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to get married at! Joel and Bethany were amazing to work with and made sure our special day was absolutely perfect! We had their wine and sangria for our reception (IMPECCABLE) and they had provided us with a list of vendors they’ve worked with which made finding a caterer, photographer, makeup artist, officiant, etc. SOOO much easier - especially since we were coming from out of state. There are so many picture perfect spots on their property that will truly feel like a scene out of a movie. I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about them!

The Wellington Venue was the PERFECT place for our special day! We had our wedding, family reception and evening party with our friends all in one amazing day. Booking a wedding venue can be overwhelming and confusing, but Stover Hall is an easy choice. When my now husband and I toured this venue, we were so excited. It mixes barn style and winery style, with a classy yet homey feel to it. The owners/operators are incredibly kind and were happy to answer any questions we had about not only the venue, but wedding planning as well. My wedding was 04/12/26 and the weather was perfect, the cows were saying hi to our guests, and there were beautiful flowering trees near the arbor which made for picture perfect settings. Everything about this venue is top notch, from amenities to the people running it. I could go on and on. There’s not one spot on this property that doesn’t allow for beautiful pictures and the best flow. If I could get married (to the same man obviously) again and again, I wouldn’t do it anywhere else but here.
