Brookside Gardens Wedding Venue Showcase is this Sunday November 19, 2023 11am-2pm. Located in Brookside Gardens Visitor Center Auditorium, the event is free and open to the public. Our wedding was the beginning of November and all the leaves had started to change! Brookside blocked off the gardens we were using so no one could mess with our wedding decor or anything. The park was still open to the public during our wedding, and it was beautiful and special to have the public see and witness our wedding and loved having everyone's beautiful comments. The staff were wonderful!

We were so pleased with our wedding venue, Brookside Gardens. The location itself is stunning. We were married in the Yew Garden, which is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony, and we were able to take wedding photos throughout other areas of the gardens as well. Jennifer and her team were a joy to work with. They were very responsive to all of our emails and questions and were a great resource to other vendors. They were also very flexible as some of our plans had to be adjusted the day of the wedding. If you’re looking for a venue in the DMV area with the perfect natural garden backdrop, take a close look at Brookside.

We chose Brookside Gardens for our wedding because it's such a beautiful location and so close to DC where we live. We worked with Jennifer and her team along the way and they were responsive and incredibly helpful (giving us ideas for how to set everything up, what couples have done in the past, etc.) We had our wedding in the Yew Garden and our cocktail hour in the Fragrance Garden before moving inside for the reception and it was all stunning and we were able to go to several spots in the gardens for our golden hour photos (Japanese Tea House, rose garden, I could go on and on!) I 100% recommend Brookside Gardens for any wedding and am so grateful that we were able to get married there!

Jennifer and staff helped me plan a wedding from 3000 miles away! I visited once but I really didn't have to. It was my daughter in laws dream location having grown up in the area. The cost included so many things that is not usually included so it makes it an excellent value. A value in a million dollar location. You are spoiled for choices of locations. I visited in the autumn and the wedding was in the spring and both were stunning. Lots of help along the way and on the day from the stellar staff!!

November, January, February, and March. December is considered off-season, however our availability is limited because of our annual Garden of Lights Festival which runs the end of November through the New Year!

Yes, however we are in Montgomery County which is an controlled county when it comes to alcohol. All alcohol must be bought in Montgomery County as well as all alcohol must be served by a licensed, certified, and insured bartender. We highly recommend booking with a full-service caterer who offers alcoholic services.

Yes, our Visitor Center Parking lot has enough spaces to hold 150 cars and 6 accessible parking space. Parking is first come, first served and is open to the public.

Yes, all but two of our facilities are wheelchair accessible. Let event staff know when booking your tour/consultation that you may have a family or friend who will need the space to be accessible!

We offer 3 rental packages: a 2-hour event, a 4-hour event, and a 6-hour event. Each rental package comes with 2 additional hours for setup, 1 additional hour for cleanup, and all tables and chairs.

This depends on your package. We offer 2-hour, 4-hour, and 6- hour packages. Since each packages comes with 2 hours setup time and 1 hour cleanup time. The total hours would be a 5-hour, 7-hour, and 9-hour respectively.

Security Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with us. Depending on when you cancel you may be entitled to a portion or all of your rental fee to be refunded. Please contact the Event Rentals Office at (301)-962-1404 or event.manager@montgomeryparks.org for more information.

Though we do not require liability or event cancellation insurance. We do recommend purchasing them as a fail-safe. We do require insurance to be submitted for your caterer and bartender.

Security Deposits will range from $750-$1500 depending on the package. $1500 is the most common.

No. We do have a vendor collection which is a list of vendors who have been to the gardens before so they know the rules and regulations, however you do not need to choose from this list- it is given merely as a starting point for clients.
