    My entire bridal party and I stayed here my wedding weekend and it was fabulous! The house is so large so no one felt on top of eachother with multiple seating areas and common spaces all beautifully decorated Not to mention my cousin and I got to wake everyone up with our piano playing in the formal living room on the day of our wedding. The property is absolutely gorgeous and I felt like I was in a Nancy Myers movie while staying here. The landscaping is so well done and the massive kitchen was so helpful in feeding everyone while we were getting our hair and makeup done! Not to mention it was so great being able to have my dog there with me!

    The guests from my intimate wedding in 2021 still rave about how stunning our venue was & even have plans to return in the future for a weekend getaway. We planned our al fresco wedding at Spotswood Lodge and of all the decisions we made for our wedding, the location & accommodations at the lodge are still on among our top choices. Our entire family was able to stay under one roof surrouned by beauty and style on the interior and exterior of the venue! We highly recommend this venue for your private reception or weekend wedding stay!

    Spotswood Lodge has beautiful grounds. The green barn with the willow tree is stunning and the pond with the dock is beautiful. Anywhere on the grounds would be great for portraits, a first look and even a ceremony. Inside the home there is enough space to easily have overnight accommodations for families or a wedding party.

    I am a wedding planner in Central Virginia and I can not say enough about the beauty of Spotswood Lodge. This venue really ticks all of the boxes for guest lodging or for an intimate wedding; historic, private and blissfully serene.
