From the beginning, Cassidy went above and beyond with everything. When I started off with my wedding planning, all I had was a Pinterest board and the ideas in my head. Cassidy took my ideas and added such amazing expertise to create a final decor design for my wedding that I absolutely loved. Cassidy was extremely attentive, responsive, and caring throughout every step of the process. She had all of the wedding designs easily accessible on her planning website, and walked us through every single detail. We hardly ever had any feedback because she executed our needs and wants so perfectly during planning. Throughout the planning process, Cassidy offered many brilliant suggestions for details or aspects of the wedding design that we didn't know how to answer. For the month-of wedding coordination, Cassidy was a pro at working with our vendors and ensuring that any final questions or requests I had were answered and taken care of. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Cassidy and her team! She arrived to our venue so early to personally decorate and coordinate with everyone. I had put my full trust in Cassidy when it came to the final venue set-up and decorations. I was in awe when I showed up to the venue and saw how beautiful everything was. Following venue set-up, she was in full wedding coordinator mode and ensured our entire day went smoothly. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because Cassidy made sure that everything was handled and kept us on schedule in the most seamless way. My wife and I had a 5 star experience with Grace & Glory Weddings and Events. And that's because Victoria single handedly made our wedding happen despite all of the challenges that we, and the world, threw at her. We were originally looking for just a day-of coordinator, but it was clear after our first meeting that we needed a wedding planner. Victoria had everything we were looking for - most importantly, being a stern leader and knowing what needs to be done, without adding any extra stress leading up to, and on the day of the wedding. From the get-go, she had great advice about how to pull a wedding together, despite our lack of a vision for the details. Victoria took the lead, providing checklists to help keep us on schedule with all of the minor and major details, and taking the few ideas we had and forming them into a full vision for our wedding. She was fantastic at getting our input to make sure the wedding day reflected us. When the pandemic caused us to delay our wedding and change the venue entirely, Victoria took these massive changes in stride and blew away all of our expectations. She was on top of every detail and took care of all of the vendor coordination. She navigated the unknown caused by the pandemic with ease, and provided a calm voice with concrete steps of how to move forward. She made re-planning our new wedding day a breeze. I can't even fathom what we would have done without her. Our wedding day was better and more beautiful than we ever could have imagined thanks to Victoria’s help. She went above and beyond our expectations, and ensured everything went according to plan. Ricki was the absolute best investment I made in my wedding. She was so easy to work with and is single-handedly the reason my wedding went off without a hitch. From our first meeting to loading up decor at the end of the wedding day, she was amazing, enthusiastic, and professional. She went above and beyond in dealing with vendors and took so much off my plate. She also saved my mental health in the months/weeks leading up to the wedding, not bothered by my many questions and random thoughts and happily answered them all. She took my random thoughts and my very rough vision for decor and ran with it. I was stunned and amazed when I saw how everything turned out. She also was amazing in dealing with an unhappy venue staff member at the end of the wedding, ensuring our evening was perfect. So much so that we didn’t realize anything had happened until the next day. I cannot recommend Ricki and her team enough!!

TLDR: Easy communication, handles everything, calming, amazing experience. Madi helped us plan and coordinated our wedding in June at the Eaton DC. We cannot recommend her enough!! During the planning process, she was the perfect balance of being the cheerleader for our ideas, and weighing in with her own when we needed another perspective. We felt pretty unprepared and clueless about planning a wedding, and Madi was so accepting of that and really validated us along the way. She handed all of the communication and emails, which was a huge task and a relief to hand off. On the actual wedding day, Madi and her team made everything feel comfortable and easy. Madi has such a calm demeanor that we completely trusted that no matter what happened, she was going to take care of it and it wouldn’t impact us. And it didn’t! We weren’t aware of any logistics going on around us, and Madi and her team made sure it was the most special for us. Our friends and family commented throughout the night and afterwards on how great Madi and her team were. I am SO glad and grateful we had Madi for our wedding, and I wholeheartedly encourage anyone looking for planning or coordination to go with Tate Co.

This is a way too late review for a spectacular wedding planner and event designer who brought to life the wedding of my dreams in June 2022! Lauren and her team truly provide a 5-star experience in every way and more. Before I met Lauren, I had a vision for my wedding, but really wasn't sure how to bring it to fruition. I was walking through the "steps" recommended in different timeline sheets, which in itself is very tiring, and starting very big picture. But as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the details start to become very, very overwhelming - especially when there's a specific look and feel you want for your wedding. Where do you invest your time and money? That's where Lauren was a lifesaver. Some key moments in our work together included: aligning us via several conversations and an inspiration deck (really important for making sure you're on the same page), meeting me at a rental facility to walk through design elements together, coordinating with family members to make sure she got a comprehensive picture of what really mattered to me (bless my partner, he couldn't care less), and "secretly" working with family members to make the vision "bigger and better" and surprise me. Lauren also has an IMPECCABLE eye for how to bring all the million details together. She hand-selected and/or advised on every detail, from utensil colors to linens to stamp types to wax seals - all the tiny details that create a full "experience" for you and your guests, but by the end, you don't have energy to pick yourself! Moreover, Lauren is incredibly professional, warm, direct, patient, and supportive - all traits you need in a planner and designer. She will also tell you what she thinks, which is essential, particularly in the home stretch! By the end, Lauren was responsible for creating the wedding of my dreams. I can truly say it was the most magical weekend of my life, and while all weddings are so special when you have the people you love, it doesn't quite feel *spectacular* without all those details coming together. Words cannot define the worth and joy it was to have Kawania and her team be a part of my wedding day. She was a constant advocate for our needs and budget throughout the process, being realistic at every turn. What I know now is that what you get with Kawania is experience and know-how of the industry. She has planned several weddings and events before and knows how to troubleshoot mishaps that may happen on the wedding day in real time. She understands that the day of the event is a special moment for everyone involved and she knows not to bring stress to the wedding party and to allow them to live in the moment. At subsequent weddings, I have felt that my friends needed this approach with their planners on their wedding day/weekend. I, being their guest or in their bridal party felt the disorganization that their planners or self-planning brought. This was not the case with Kawania. We had glowing comments about our wedding day for even a year after and how it was not just a ceremony but a day of entertainment. She is an excellent communicator. We had regular meetings throughout the year, about once a week. I have seen my friends have wedding planners who do not get back to them for several days after they have a question about their wedding. Kawania brought my vendors to me instead of me having to look for vendors on my own and when one did not work she always had another one that could take the place. She set up meetings with me and my vendors one-on-one and reviewed all of our vendor contracts to make sure that we were getting a fair contract and that expectations for the vendor and for us were both reasonable and what we were looking for. Being a very busy working professional I appreciated that Kawania went above and beyond to make sure that I stayed on the schedule and was extremely patient when there were moments when I could not. I value how she brought my vision to life and had such great attention to small details that my day was exceptional. I have seen my guests feature elements of my wedding at their subsequent events and it speaks to how she was able to set the bar high for what a classy and unique event should be. Far beyond a wedding planner, she has become someone that I keep in contact with after the wedding. She even checked in on me when there was a major catastrophic event that took place in the area where I lived months after the wedding. There were even moments when I became uncertain or stressed and focused on the wrong thing when it came to my wedding. Kawania, quite like a mother figure helped me realize what my focus should be and to ignore all other distractions so that when I walked down the aisle, I was in full confidence of how the day was going to be and did not feel a single ounce of stress on my wedding day. I could not be more thrilled to work with Kawania again. Although I do not see myself getting remarried I would certainly work with her for any big event I needed in the future. She has such a positive energy and global about her and brings a light to every interaction even difficult ones that makes her pleasant, respectable, dependable, and all around the absolute reason why my big day went off such success. I cannot state how tirelessly she and her team worked so when I did meet them in person but felt like I was meeting friends who knew exactly what I wanted. You will not regret working with Kawania and Howerton Wooten events!

When the bride shared her vision, I immediately thought of Ashanti because I’ve worked with her before and absolutely love her work. She’s one of the rare designers who can balance creativity with realism while delivering flawless execution. For this wedding, we had to transform an inspiration photo into a glam-style red wedding design, and Ashanti absolutely delivered. The bride wanted florals showcased inside acrylic tiers for the cake—a unique and challenging concept. These acrylic tiers had to be sourced from London, measured precisely, customized with Ashanti’s florals, and transported from Virginia to Florida and survive 3-4 days. Not only did the floral design make the journey, but it also held up beautifully throughout the wedding. The result? Stunning florals that tied the cake seamlessly into the overall wedding design. The bride was overjoyed, the guests were amazed, and I was blown away. Together, we created a once-in-a-lifetime piece for a deserving couple and seeing the bride’s ecstatic reaction made all the effort worth it. Ashanti’s talent speaks for itself, but what truly sets her apart is her professionalism. She’s communicative, detail-oriented, and incredibly down-to-earth. She knew exactly how to bring the vision to life and worked closely with me to ensure every detail was perfect. Honestly, I couldn’t have pulled this off without her expertise. Good on J.J. Ash for requesting reviews from vendors and guests—it’s a smart move that highlights the joy they create for couples. I’ve seen Ashanti and her team work tirelessly through weddings, sometimes staying until the very end (I’m usually there past the cake cutting, haha!). By the time the dust settles, the couple is married, their photos are stunning, and their videos capture every magical moment. Reflecting on those moments reminds me how much of a privilege it is to be part of such special events. As a vendor, I appreciated how communicative and organized Ashanti was throughout the process. Having Macy as the day of coordinator for our wedding was the best decision we made - our wedding day was 100% stress free! She made sure the wedding party and our parents were at the right spots at the right time throughout the evening and helped keep guests contained during cocktail hour so we could step away with the photographer for photos. So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Tilly & Teal is amazing! I had the opportunity to work with Katie this month as a photographer, and she is incredible - down to earth, friendly, super talented, and puts the couple #1 every time. Over two incredible days, Katie managed every detail with grace and professionalism. She was incredibly organized and on top of every detail. I witnessed her regularly going above and beyond - from ensuring our bride and groom were calm throughout the day, to assisting with organizing details for flatlay photos, to so many hidden labors of love to make sure everything was as the couple envisioned and the experience was seamless for the couple & guests. From color-coded vendor timelines, to tablescapes, cake plates, wedding favors, flatlay photos, hand-lettered paper elements, velvet ring boxes, playlists of music, the list goes on! Jami truly leaves no design detail unturned and her thorough questions for your preferences will surprise and delight you. When your most special day finally arrives there is no one better suited to orchestrate your celebration of love. Jami remains completely calm and graceful no matter the circumstance. People may tell you “no wedding is without hiccups” but when I think back to my wedding, I don’t recall those because Jami swiftly handles it! She set tables to perfection, moved seating, fetched Coke Zero (my husband’s strict beverage of choice!), snapped Polaroids for our guest book, primped and prepped me as needed, wiped mascara smudges and veil fluffed, even going as far to stitch rips in my heirloom wedding gown mid-reception! We literally laughed so hard we cried! I never expected a wedding planner to pour so much love, energy, positivity and sheer joy into her “job”. And that’s truly because to Jami it’s not a job — it’s her calling! I couldn’t be more grateful she is written into the memories of my wedding day. Her love and care for me and our families will surely stay with me forever.
