Hi! I'm Jill Smith, owner, creative, wife and mother. I have been in the Washington, D.C. metro area for 38 years as a financial professional (28 years), and after retiring early, began planning weddings and events. I am a certified wedding planner, florist and designer. Jill Smith Events and Designs has a team of professional individuals skilled in planning, florals, and designs. We produce events at a variety of venues in the DC/VA/MD area. We partner with couples in the area, and often areas beyond. Our goal is to ensure a seamless, memorable event that lasts a lifetime!
I bring a unique combination of business ethics and professionalism with wedding planning, floral and design experience, which allows me to approach events with creative and effective strategies. My dedication to listening to my clients sets me apart. I also strive to learn something new each day!

Highly Recommend Jill—She's the best!
We were planning from the west coast for our Virginia wedding, and Jill was truly a lifesaver. From day one, she was incredibly communicative and kept us on track every step of the way, which gave us such peace of mind. Jill went above and beyond when it came to our décor. Not only did she help us design stunning tablescapes, but she also provided the perfect finishing touches—everything from table numbers to candle holders, welcome table, seating chart and individual name card tents to make our vision come to life! On the day of the wedding, Jill handled any issues before we even knew they existed! Her professionalism and calm demeanor were unmatched, and she always seemed to know exactly what I needed before I could even think to ask. If you’re getting married in the Leesburg/Purcellville area, you absolutely need Jill as your coordinator. She is amazing at what she does, and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding day without her!
Amazing
Working with Jill was by far the best (and easiest) decision we made for our wedding. From our very first conversation, I knew Jill was my girl. Throughout the months of planning, Jill was nothing but professional, efficient, thorough, and easy to work with. She was always responsive and proactive, making the process stress-free. Our wedding was truly perfect and much of that is thanks to Jill. We cannot speak more highly of her and recommend her with no reservations, you will not regret it!
