About this venue

Family owned since 1931, Red Gate Farms is just 6 miles from historic downtown Savannah. Offering an authentic Barn venue and an industrial venue, The Grainery. The Barn holds up to 150 guests and The Grainery up to 200. The Belle Tower is a Southern home in the middle of the farm. It included with the Grainery as dressing rooms for weddings. The Belle Tower can also be rented for events with up to 60 guests. Smaller venues are also available for rehearsal dinners and private events. We also offer elopement packages for 10 or 20 guests.

The Barn

The authentic barn is a beautiful backdrop for a magical truly Southern experience. The Barn has been described as a scene out of a Hallmark Movie.

The Barn’s traditional red doors and genuine horse stables that are creatively incorporated into each event give the venue a special kind of authenticity. Directly adjacent to The Barn is a cozy cottage with spacious rooms for couples to get ready in. Just behind The Barn is the peaceful meadow, home to majestic 300-year-old oak trees. Often used for ceremonies, company picnics, and more, the meadow offers a woodland escape.

    Red Gate Farms was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the start, their communication was consistently friendly, frank, and honest, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. The rustic, classic, and outdoorsy feel of the Spanish oak and moss-covered grounds created a beautiful, natural backdrop for our special day. They provided us with vendors that fit our budget, and the spacious, cool bridal and groom's suites were an added bonus. The bartenders they arranged were also a hit with our guests. Overall, Red Gate Farms exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

    Absolutely amazing. All the way from the beginning of our planning process to the end with our big day. PJ, Melanie, Kyle, and the rest of the e staff were so helpful along every part of the way of our journey. Perfect venue for a nice farm/rustic/whimsical wedding.

    I unfortunately was a COVID bride and had to change my wedding plans twice before my big day happened. As stressful as this was, Red Gate eased all my fears. The staff was very helpful and flexible with me about everything. The setting was beautiful and all my guests raved about how beautiful the barn was and oh those gorgeous trees!! I am so glad I chose Red Gate, can't thank them enough for making my wedding dreams come true!
