    Note that Lauren is no longer working managing events for the Public and in general our experience with their team was extremely disappointing. This was one of the most disorganized and unprofessional teams I have ever worked with. I do small scale event production and was so disappointed to see how the hotel handles their event management. This is absolutely NOT a full service event space and one of the best things you can do whether you are having a wedding or other event here is to have a well organized team working for you in order for your event to go off without a hitch. Do not rely on the hotel to handle details in a timely manner. Without our wedding coordinator we would not have been able to have the ceremony and reception happen. Communication with the hotel's events manager is pretty much non existent and many important details concerning the sound system and lighting were left to just days before our wedding. We were told we had a room booked for the day before and day of and when we arrived they didn't have any rooms booked for us. They also charged us for our wedding night when in fact it was supposed to be comped. The hotel is in need of a proper team of people to handle all events and to ensure people who have booked the space are given all info about what the space actually provides in a timely manner. Just days before our reception we were still waiting on our questions about the space to be answered.

    I cant begin to put into words how perfect my wedding was at Public! Lauren and the team were so patient in the planning stages, they made the process fun instead of overwhelming. We enjoyed every second and went into the weekend with our minds at ease as the level of professionalism was so clearly there! All the the details were brought to life and everyone was willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect! The staff is friendly and welcoming and made all of my guests feel at home. The food was perfect! The service was 5 start and overall the team and the venue that is so unbelievably beautiful made my dream wedding a reality and I cant thank everyone enough! I will always think of Public whenever needing a venue for a special event in the future!!

    As an Event Producer; willingness to work in team to make my weddings unique, transparency and responsiveness are EVERYTHING! I worked with Lauren and the planning process was smooth, despite being a Destination Wedding all the details and million emails back and forth. She was always there, active, patient and working solutions as a team. The day of the floor team was immaculate! On it, responsive, helpful and gave TOP service to my couple and their guests!
