Elmartin Farm derives its name from the initials and last name of Everett Lawrence Martin, Sr, father to Everett Lawrence Martin Jr., known as "Gus," who with his wife, Dodi are the current owners of the farm. Presently, sons, Kim and Shawn, operate and manage the farm. They are the 8th generation of ancestral Martins who began farming in Cheshire, MA in 1790. By the late 1950s, Elmartin Farm had become a major dairy farm in the Northern Berkshire County. Its herd grew to 80 milkers and 80 head of youngstock. Together, the herd filled the new barn which had been completed in 1952. The barn, with the addition of a milking parlor, remains the focal point of Elmartin Farm.

We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. The Pruyn House is the Cultural and Historical Center for the Town of Colonie. We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. All else provided by caterer or rental service.

Emmerich Tree Farm is a working Christmas Tree Farm catering to the 'Choose-and-Cut' market in Warwick, NY, just 50 miles NW of the George Washington Bridge. Our property has been in the family since 1960, and the trees were planted in 2007. Our pavilion is 30 by 40 and was built in the summer of 2011 using beams harvested from the property. There are rustic accents added throughout, which help make the space unique. Articulating glass windows & doors on the South & East walls allow us to control temperature shifts, creating a unique indoor/outdoor space. Adjacent to the pavilion is a tented patio which is 60' x 30'. The tent is provided by our venue, includes hanging string lights, and has sides available upon request. The space allows room to seat up to 180 people using rectangular tables and up to 130 people using 5' round tables. We also have a Bridal tent built with rustic cedar trim. The tent is furnished with seating, full-length mirror and power.

Our venue is a working cider apple farm and distillery with an orchard, greenhouse, vegetable & flower gardens, a flock of 50 exotic chickens, Sebastopol geese, Soay sheep and two super sweet Chihuahuas named Isabella and Mela. Our barn was built in the late 1870's. It has been renovated over the last few years to be the perfect space for up to 130 guests. We got married in our barn and had 80 of our closest friends and family for the event. It’s the ideal venue for these smaller weddings.

Then plan your Ceremony and Reception by making the Barn your own. Before you leave, spend the day by the pool to top off an unforgettable weekend. We typically host Barn events May thru October for up to 200 guests, although more may be accommodated with flexible seating arrangements. Our banquet room can hold up to 100 guests for a seated event all year round.
