About this venue

Discover the Vermont destination wedding of your dreams! Say your vows outdoors, surrounded by sweeping views of the Green Mountains, enjoy cocktails on the terrace, then dance the night away in a gorgeous marble pavilion tent, with white silk drapery. Continue the celebration with an after party in the mansion’s Billiard Room Bar, or a bonfire party with s'mores. We offer onsite lodging for up to 125 guests. Resort activities include pool, tennis, lawn games, sculpture gardens and woods trails. Start the weekend with an outdoor Rehearsal Dinner BBQ or farm to table fare from our organic farm. Get ready with all your bridal party in the historic mansion's bridal suite, then make a grand entrance descending the marble staircase. Summer weddings for up to 225. Winter mansion weddings for up to 75 guests. We include a dedicated coordinator, onsite catering and bar services. Most of the lodging is dog-friendly.

The Bonfire

The Wilburton bonfire is a unique Vermont experience.

Enjoy craft beer and cider donuts by a crackling bonfire, with a background of dramatic sculptures. Your guests will follow a path lit by torches from the mansion to the bonfire. Add smores or a pizza party for even more fun.

The Wilburton Bonfire is a unique welcome party or afterparty experience. Your guests will follow a torch lined driveway to the enormour bonfire, with a backdrop of dramatic sculpture. The bonfire area has seating, a bluetooth speaker for your playlist and bar set up with craft beer, wine & soft drinks. You can add s'mores, cider donuts or wood-fired pizza.

    I am a Vermont wedding photographer and absolutely love photographing weddings at the Wilburton. The grounds, building, and staff are all so lovely that I always feel welcome and inspired.     Working at the Wilburton Inn providing florals for their couples is a joy! The staff is so helpful and caring about performing their positions with perfection. This includes Meesha, in charge of helping the couples with their planning and helping to coordinate their wedding weekend, and so much more, to Tajlei and Melissa, who are owners and Innkeepers, hands on and involved. The chef and his kitchen staff, the wait staff/bartending staff, the ground keepers/gardeners, the handy man who is also part of the staff that does all the wedding set up. I may have missed a department, but, the bottom line is when working there, one feels like family. A family whose sole objective is to give 100% to every wedding, every event. The grounds are so naturally beautiful and the Inn has a personality of it's own that you will not find anywhere else! There is such an open mindedness and open hearted approach to everything. ALL are welcome, including your dogs! I highly recommend The Wilburton Inn! Nancy and Team
