With water views and a seating capacity of 250, this majestic barn opens onto a one-acre grassy square surrounded by nine historic buildings and 500 acres of forests and farmlands. Whether you’re looking for a tented reception, an intimate elopement amongst the trees, or something in between, Retreat Farm has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces that accommodate celebrations of 2 to 500 guests. Retreat Farm has unmatched experience creating magical events with long-standing relationships that give you access to coveted craft beverages, sought-after caterers, and the region’s best entertainment and musicians. From multi-day events to intimate elopements, you can design your day exactly as you imagine. Our rustic romantic wedding venue includes a full service bar, catering kitchen, and private space for the wedding party to get ready on site. It opens to a one-acre manicured, grassy square surrounded by nine historic buildings and an extensive outdoor patio with an outdoor bar, perfect for your cocktail hour or outdoor ceremony and reception.

This beautiful half acre grassy common, surrounded by nine historic buildings, is perfectly positioned with water views, Bandstand for live music, an outdoor bar, lawn games, an extensive outdoor patio with fire pits and Adirondack chairs. Our Venue Coordinator will work with you on tent rental coordination for the perfect wedding event preparation. Farmhouse Square, like all Retreat Farm wedding spaces, includes on-site parking and is an ADA accessible site.

A dream come true!
We had the privilege of being the first wedding at Retreat Farm and they knocked it out of the park. The venue itself was gorgeous and the scenery was absolutely perfect for our fall wedding. The new barn was beautifully done and spacious enough for all of our guests. Sam and Jen were the dream team when it came to preparing for the day in advance and for taking the stress off my shoulders the day of. I went into my day prepared to be bombarded with questions and stressed with scheduling but Sam and Jen handled everything for us. I cannot express for grateful I am to have found this wonderful venue and for the support and positivity that came from the staff. Also huge shoutout to Pete the bartender everyone loved you!! If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to get married or have any event look no further. Thank you guys for everything you did to make our special day even more special!

I have been working with The Retreat Farm since before the North Barn officially opened, and have been so excited to start designing in the space. The remodel of this historic barn is stunning! You get the rustic feel, but it is still bright and open. The ceremony space is conveniently located right outside of the barn, with a cute little seating area which is perfect for cocktail hour. The space has a really nice flow. On top of that, my experience working with the Retreat Farm staff has been a joy. They are communicative and easy to work with. From what I have seen, they have already showed that they will go above and beyond for the couples getting married there. I look forward to all of the weddings we will work together on next season!
