We had our wedding at Groveland Fairways by Wedgewood Weddings on 4/26/25! We initially got in contact with Groveland Fairways in the very early part of 2024, and it didn’t take long for us to decide that this was the venue for us! Since booking, the venue changed ownership and became a part of Wedgewood Weddings & Events. WW honored our pre-existing contract we had with Groveland Fairways and the transition was seamless! From the get-go, the WW team set up our planning meeting, details call, final meeting, and rehearsal. We had A LOT of TBDs after our first planning meeting, so thank you to the WW team for your patience! We primarily worked with Nicole, but the whole team was VERY involved. Everyone at Groveland Fairways was professional, organized, accommodating, available, and helpful. I’m originally from CT, so on more than one occasion I’d let the WW team know (with only a few days notice) that my mom was coming up and wanted to stop by the venue to plan things out and visualize the day. We never felt like an inconvenience and the WW team was there for us if we had questions but also let us walk around and do our thing. We planned to get married outside by the arbor (Terrace Garden), but the old saying “April showers bring May flowers” stayed true to its word and we had rain. Fortunately, Groveland Fairways has a beautiful indoors option (Fireside Room) and it worked out perfectly for us. It was a more intimate setting for us and all of our favorite people. WW offers multiple enhancements if you want to elevate your special day or make it more custom to you and your style, but we felt that the venue was simple and beautiful on its own! It fit our 135 guests very comfortably. There are multiple spots around the venue to take pictures - whether it be on the front porch, under the porte cochere, up in the new bridal suite, outside on the putting green, or around the grounds with the arborvitaes and white trellis in the background. We don't have enough good things to say about Groveland Fairways, it's charm, and incredibly thoughtful team! Thank you to everyone at Groveland Fairways, who made this experience SO EASY and our day so special!

We hosted our wedding at Olio in early August and simply had the best experience. From the moment we met Sarah on our tour, I felt like we were in good hands with the space and every single person who worked there and/or was associated with it. The building felt both modern and historic, and we loved the surprise of the lofted ceilings and twinkling lights once we stepped up the stairs. Olio was an great size for our 90 person event, and Sarah (and her team at Without a Hitch) helped us plan exactly the wedding we wanted, which included large rented palm trees, arcade games, a Richie's Slush cart with umbrella, even a surprise visit from Santa Claus...at Olio it all worked out. Folks say it a lot, but it was truly a blank canvas and our Olio wedding was perfectly personalized for us. The space was spotless, had great parking and directions for guests and vendors, and made for epic photos. Highly recommend this memorable venue (and the incredible professionals behind it).

Now, a century later, The Boylston Rooms retains the integrity of the 1814 original mill in every brick and beam. Our rental includes planners and decor at no added cost. We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

They were wonderful through the whole process and so prompt to respond and have great attention to detail. They constantly made sure we had everything we needed all day and that we got to try all our wonderful food. Our guests raved about the venue space and the food. We have 79 guests which was a great amount of a nice intimate celebration. Our only regret is how quick the day went by. Highly recommend this venue and their fabulous team.

It’s been one month since our wedding and every day I go back to how loved and supported I felt on the best day of my life. The Red Lion Inn played a massive role in that. My husband and I fell in love with the venue the second we stepped foot inside. From the historic inn, to the stunning barn, to the location right in the heart of quaint Cohasset, the Red Lion Inn is the wedding venue you dream about. It seems impossible that anything could out-do the beauty and charm of the venue, but the staff sets the bar even higher. From Krystel, to Andrew, to Nancy, to the MVP Toufiq, I have never felt more spoiled in my life. Every single person that interacted with me and my guests was kind, professional, and generous with their time. On top of the charm and the incredible team, the food is second to none. As a vegetarian, I have been to so many weddings where my meal is an afterthought. But not at Red Lion. Every single thing on the menu was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian options. Beyond how delicious the food is, they accommodated every single guest and their dietary needs like the pros that they are. Red Lion is worth every penny. If you are lucky enough to be considering this venue, I encourage you to fully commit. We were taken care of like family from the first time we stepped foot in the venue, and it is because of them that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We already cannot wait to go back and have dinner in the tavern just so we can feel the warmth of that incredible place once more.

Words almost fail to express how freaking fabulous our time with The Barker House was! We are just over 3 months married (3/27/2025) and family and friends still remark to us on just how fun and gorgeous our wedding was. A ton of that credit goes to the amazing staff at the Barker House. Right from the start of our first tour, we were treated with such kindness and respect from the Barker House team. We were immediately sold on the staff (who took such time and care chatting with us) before we even fell in love with the venue. Davis-Lynn and Lilly were our rockstars! We were lucky enough to have them with us on our wedding day. The first portion of the day I was incredibly nervous, but once I was greeted by Davis-Lynn at the front door all my worries dissipated. I knew I was in the best of hands and suddenly felt ready to have fun. Even during the dinner service, Lilly was so kind as to sew my ripped bustle behind the scenes. She was so dedicated to making sure we had the best experience. The venue is simply stunning. As two people who appreciate history and go antiquing regularly, The Barker House spoke to our personalities. The speak-easy feel of the sunken bar, fireplaces, and exposed beams are very unique. The venue is in a gorgeous area and we were glad to be by the ocean. The chef is phenomenal as the food service was top notch. Family still exclaim to us how delicious the food was (omg the short ribs perfection!). I also suggest that couples utilize The Barker House's recommended vendors. Not only was payment and interaction with them a breeze, but they were each fabulous in responsiveness and quality. Awesome Blossom, Toast To That Entertainment, and Kristen Griffin Photography were incredibly professional and they each blew us away. I could go on and on... The bottom line, if you looking for a worry free all inclusive beautiful venue and want to work with the best people, look no further than The Barker House! P.S. Brides, make sure you get a picture with your planners! My only regret is that I didn't get a picture with Lilly and Davis-Lynn!

The Lakehouse Venue was absolutely breathtaking—truly the perfect setting for our wedding day. From the stunning views to the beautifully maintained space, everything felt magical from the moment we arrived. What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every person we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of every step of the way. Kacey our event producer was truly the best possible person we could have had. From start to finish, she was attentive, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful in every interaction. No question ever felt too small—she always took the time to guide us, reassure us, and make sure we felt confident every step of the way. What really set Kacey apart was her balance of care and leadership. She brought such a calm, organized presence while also leading the entire process with confidence and professionalism. On a day that can feel overwhelming, she made everything feel seamless and manageable. We are so grateful for her support, dedication, and genuine kindness. Kacey and the Lakehouse played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be—and more. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Our daughter just celebrated her wedding this past weekend at the Kimpton Marlowe, and I can't imagine a more perfect experience! We visited quite a few venues that we loved, but once we found KM and Rachel, we knew we had found our place. I'm not sure where to begin! The planning process was never stressful thanks to Rachel's patience, professionalism and organizational skills. Our daughter lives out of state, and I can only imagine the insane amount of emails that flew back and forth between her and Rachel! She kept us all calm, and we were always confident that the day would be perfect because of her extraordinary efforts. The venue itself has everything a bridal party could want. It's in an accessible location for out of state visitors to explore Boston and Cambridge. The staff are all warm, friendly and eager to help with anything. The price is very reasonable; we had ruled out Boston/Cambridge because of our budget, but KM turned out to be right on target. There is convenient parking on site. We were offered a block of rooms in the hotel for an amazingly good price, so that our guests didn't have to worry about driving after a big party! The food was exceptional, from appetizers to dinner and even late night snacks of pizza, cookies and milk! The reception room was gorgeous and is very easy to work with because of the neutral colors. I think one of our favorite parts was that we had the entire second floor of the hotel to ourselves! The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even a room for the bride to retreat when she needed to change was all included. The younger guests danced until the very end, and the "older" parents and guests found a quiet spot to hang out in the lobby area outside of the reception hall, filled with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables. All who attended were happy with the many choices to party, relax and mingle. In my opinion, KM and Rachel are a still a hidden gem in the greater Boston area. I hope this review helps to get the word out that they are the place to go if you are looking for an affordable option with fabulous spaces, delicious food and most of all, an event planner who puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Thank you, KM and Rachel! 3

This venue is STUNNING! We wanted a place that was beautiful enough on its own that we could save money on decor, and THIS WAS IT! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were beautiful. And we loved that we had access to the patio and outdoor fireplace all night, many great spots for our guests to mingle during the reception while they watched the sunset. Our day-of coordinator was super helpful and professional, but we didn’t get to meet him until the day before the wedding. Up until that point we worked exclusively with the “Event Coordinator” sales associate, who was nice enough but not very communicative. I often had to follow up multiple times to get my questions answered, she rarely reached out first with information, or she’d think she sent me things she hadn’t yet. I know a “coordinator” is not the same as a “planner,” but my other vendors were surprised she wasn’t more hands on. The venue is totally worth it, but the person that gives you the tour will likely be the same person you work with throughout the planning process, so make sure you like their vibe!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and that is largely thanks to the incredible team at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club—especially our day-of coordinator, Harmony. From the beginning, we chose Ocean Edge because of its unique ability to offer both timeless elegance with the historic mansion and the breezy charm of its beachside venues. It truly gave us the best of both worlds for our coastal Cape Cod wedding. The catering team delivered an unforgettable culinary experience—not just on the wedding day, but also during our tasting, which was a highlight in itself. The marketing team made us feel like celebrities, capturing and sharing our day so beautifully on social media. But the true star of our wedding journey was Harmony. Harmony was the reason everything ran smoothly from start to finish. In the months leading up to the big day, she was always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure every detail matched our vision. On the wedding day, she was by my side from the moment I arrived until the very last dance. She oversaw every transition—ceremony, photos, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party—with such grace and precision that we were able to fully enjoy each moment without stress. Harmony has an incredible gift for event coordination. She brought calm, joy, and genuine care to every part of our day. We feel beyond blessed not only to have been married at Ocean Edge, but to have had Harmony and her team bring our dream wedding to life.

We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pagu! From the start, the chef and owner Tracy was incredibly responsive and she got back to us right away when we inquired about hosting our wedding at the restaurant. She shared a detailed event order with sample dishes and estimated charges, which really helped us get the ball rolling with our planning. When we were able to visit Boston (we're based out of state), Tracy personally gave us our initial walkthrough. The combination of the restaurant’s cozy interior and beautiful, spacious outdoor patio made Pagu the perfect venue for our 100-guest celebration. One of the biggest reasons we wanted a restaurant wedding was the food, and Pagu absolutely delivered! Amanda and Chris T. took great care of us during our food and drink tastings, and everything was truly fantastic. The string beans, chicken katsu, miso cod, and wagyu beef were standout dishes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Tracy’s custom hot honey biscuits were also a huge hit as a late-night snack, and both the double chocolate and strawberry cakes were delicious crowd-pleasers. Like many couples, we barely had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day, but we were so happy that Pagu prepared a to-go bag of all of our food and it was all still incredibly delicious, even the next day! As the big day approached, the team answered all our questions promptly and worked closely with us to rearrange the table layout so everyone could be seated comfortably. We held our rehearsal at the venue the day before, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in coordinating everyone and making sure we all felt confident and prepared for the ceremony. The Pagu team also went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute requests (including pickleback shots and matcha cookie favors), which was deeply appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch on the actual wedding day. The transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all totally seamless, thanks to the coordination of Amanda, Chris, and Winson; it was clear that they are all seasoned pros at running a wedding, which helped us relax and enjoy the day worry-free! We can’t recommend Pagu highly enough for a wedding or special event! The food, the space, and, most importantly, the people made our day unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. We were incredibly impressed with the whole team throughout the entire process. There were so many thoughtful touches and interactions that happened throughout the planning and on the day itself. If you're considering a restaurant wedding, you won’t regret choosing Pagu!

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to celebrate our daughter's wedding than the Harding Allen Estate. Though the ceremony was held elsewhere, the Estate hosted the reception, and it was everything our daughter dreamed of — and more. From the start, Jasmine and Suzy made us feel completely at home. Their warm, family-run approach set the tone for a joyful, stress-free day. They worked seamlessly with the caterer we brought in, ensuring every detail was handled with care and professionalism. It was clear they were committed to making the day perfect, no matter what. The setup at the Estate is outstanding, with beautiful spaces for the bridal party to relax and prepare. Our daughter and her bridesmaids loved getting ready at the Rose Cottage, while the rest of the venue was meticulously prepared for the reception. The staff even took special care of the personal decorations we provided, setting everything up exactly as envisioned and carefully packing it all afterward — such attention to detail truly stood out. The venue’s flexibility and support extended to accommodating some family food allergies, and they coordinated effortlessly with our caterer to make sure everything was just right. Every staff member was kind, respectful, and made the day feel personal and special. Jasmine was incredibly responsive, especially in the final weeks leading up to the event, helping us feel fully supported. Her dedication made a real difference, allowing us to focus on enjoying the celebration with family and friends. Choosing Harding Allen Estate for the reception was one of the best decisions we made. Between the stunning venue, the wonderful staff, and the extra touches like the Rose Cottage, morning breakfast (for those of us staying at the estate), and beautiful gardens, it was truly an unforgettable evening for everyone. Food by Seth Mias was delicious! Drinks by bar staff were absolutely PERFECT. Adrianna and Will were always a step away to help with whatever we needed, even down to being a bouncer for unwelcome guests! I am grateful we chose mill 1 and will continue to choose mill 1 for any upcoming events we might host! It was such a pleasure planning, working & partying with them! Thank you again Adrianna & Will!
