Our wedding couples appreciate the authentic and welcoming warmth we offer at Salem Cross Inn – a warmth that can only be found in a colonial farmhouse and barn that have stood the test of time for centuries. If our walls could talk, they would tell you of all of the tender memories in the making that they have witnessed. Our New England venue with antique wide pine floors and chestnut beams sits on 600 acres of magnificent countryside with grazing cattle in the fields. We can accommodate up to 200 people in our barn and loft, while smaller weddings find a comfortable setting in one of our more intimate rooms in the house. We’re ready to help you make the wedding of your dreams become a cherished memory – not only for you – but for your guests as well.

      We were married 11/16/2024 here and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Nancy and Donna were fantastic to work with and answered any questions we had right away. On the day of the wedding Donna was extremely helpful. We truly felt that the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good day; they checked in on my husband and I during pictures multiple times to ensure we were able to enjoy the appetizers we had selected. We got so many compliments about the food and the aesthetic of the venue. If you are concerned about food allergies, rest assured that you are in good hands with this kitchen. Anything we needed they covered right away. Our easel was missing a screw and they were kind enough to let us borrow one! We truly felt very taken care of. They were extremely patient and understanding with any decisions we had trouble making or any time we were disorganized. The wedding coordinator that they recommended to us was AWESOME to work with as well. I loved the bridal suite. We had so much space and the decor was beautiful. It reminded me of my grandmother’s house which made me feel even more comfortable. I highly recommend getting the apple cider mimosas and snacks they offer while you’re getting ready there! Absolutely kept everyone happy in the morning. Our photos and portraits that were taken both inside and outside are simply gorgeous; I can’t say enough about how good they came out. The way the lighting comes in is a photographer’s dream. The entire layout of the venue makes for excellent photos. This venue is also very affordable compared to every other space we looked at. It felt like it was made for us to get married in and we cannot wait to return there for dinner on our anniversaries. Thank you so much to the Salem cross inn for being a part of the happiest day of our lives!

      I don’t even know where to begin with how happy I was with my decision to have my wedding at Salem Cross Inn. First off the price was unreal! I had a wedding of 160 people with an extra meal option added on AND an open bar which cost less than most venues with food and no bar for only 100 people. Nancy and Donna made setting up the day so unbelievably easy. They were honest and didn’t oversell on anything, suggesting less apps than I was originally going to pick. I was stressed about decorating and I didn’t really want to have to worry about setting up or taking down. They explained that there was no need to and they were right! My ceremony was downstairs in the tap room along with the cocktail hour and I did not prep at all and it still looked amazing. The only thing set up were the name tags for seating. Additionally, Nancy and Donna walked me downstairs because they said they wanted to watch me walk. They fluffed my dress for me and gave me a hug and my ceremony began. The reception room was the barn and all that was done was table numbers and a little something for my husband and my head table with nothing else. I can’t even say the compliments I got about how beautiful it was and I did basically NOTHING. I have so much more to say but to sum it up I could not be happy with my decision for my venue. 10/10

      Salem Cross has beautiful sprawling grounds and appreciate I could have ceremony and reception there. Food was amazing, many of my guests praised the food the beauty of the barn for the reception. The venue is beautiful decorated with lights and lanterns. Food came out quickly and efficiently--no waiting. Cake was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend.
