About this venue

The restored dairy barn built in 1828 on a 100 acre, family ran, historic venue with modern-day amenities is nestled in the Hudson Valley, NY. It can host up to 150 guests comfortably inside the barn, with additional space on the deck for cocktail hour and an adjacent lawn area for your ceremony. There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.

Barn Reception Area

Where historic rustic character meets restored modern vibrant charm.

This space features a 3,000 sq ft restored barn with antique chandeliers, hard wood floors, walls and beams. An 8 ft window accents the front of the barn, while a 1000 sq ft deck is accessible at the back of the barn that overlooks the farm.

Ceremony Lawn

With the miniature pet goats as a few extra guests, profess your love for one another and exchange your vows on the ceremony lawn area.

Our small chapel style barn is a beautiful backdrop for this important part of your day. Conveniently located adjacent to the barn, nestled next to the goats. Guests can make a wish at our well as they take their seats. This space is flexible and can be used for cocktail hour or lawn games also.

Deck

Overlooking the historic farm, meadows and ponds, enjoy cocktail hour in the tree tops.

Located off the back of the barn accessed by a ramp, this 10ft high 1000sq ft deck is a beautiful space to enjoy your cocktail hour. This space can alternatively be used as a ceremony area, it can easily be tented to protect your guests from inclement weather. This grand deck is also the entrance to the reception area.

Lake Majorie

Imagine a lakeside ceremony, rehearsal dinner and or a Sunday farewell brunch.

Lake Marjorie is a private 12 acre Lake- Pavilion compound located at Ryan Family Farm, hidden down a gravel road way. An intimate private setting alongside a spring fed lake for your ceremony, rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch? The open aired, wooden pavilion with concrete floor, with seating for approx 40 guests, with custom family made picnic tables.
