About this venue

Seminary Hill is an all-season flexible space that offers a distinctive venue to host your weekend wedding. Located 2 ½ hours northwest of NYC, our holistic apple and pear orchard and working cidery provide breathtaking views of the Catskills and the Delaware River Valley. We offer both indoor and outdoor settings. You may stage your ceremony on a high ridge overlooking the Delaware River or nestled among the apple and pear trees. You may serve lunch or dinner in our award-winning Tasting Room or our elegant Wedding Tent. Our Executive Chef Jack Tippett has created seasonal catering menus that pair perfectly with our ciders.Included in the wedding package are the Mountain House and Cottage, sleeping ten guests. Additional lodging for 50 guests is available at the Boarding House and two houses in Callicoon, the small town just down the hill that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Seminary Hill’s warm professionalism makes this the ideal setting for your wedding!

Our 1400 tree orchard overlooks a former seminary nestled at the bottom of the hill and a view of the Delaware River. In spring, the trees bloom delicate pink and white flowers. In summer, colorful fruits grow against deep green leave. In autumn, apples and pears ripe for picking against vibrant fall foliage.

Cidery Tasting Room

Take in the stunning views of the Delaware River while enjoying our cider! Perfect space for small receptions, rehearsal dinners, or Sunday Brunch.

Overlooking the orchard, the cidery combines a ground-floor production facility with a top-floor tasting room and event space. You will have exclusive use of the tasting room during your event. In addition, a permanent tent can hold up to 250 guests for your reception. Whether you stage your event indoors or outdoors, you will have spectacular views of the Catskills and the Delaware River Valley.
