About this venue

In 1926, Helen Osborne Storrow was decorating a temporary structure to depict an early American kitchen. An active trustee of the Eastern States Exposition and chairwoman of the Home Department, she dreamed of moving the handicraft exhibit to an actual home on-site – a building with its own kitchen!

Union Meeting House Reception Area

The meeting house is a non - denominational chapel with a soaring spire at the helm of the storrowtown grounds. The room's tall windows allow for ample natural light and the glow of candlelight makes evening events special. Outside are granite steps and grassy areas. This space is wheelchair accessible.

Little Red SchoolHouse Reception Area

The schoolhouse is a quaint indoor location to bring your small wedding charm with its potbelly stove. Original school benches and blackboards. All the way around. The exterior of the building provides the perfect location for your wedding photos with built-in benches, brick walkways, and a lush landscape for color contrast. Rate varies based on the number of guests. This space can fit 30 people.
