Choosing Joyfully Co. for our wedding planning services was the BEST decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning. Blaire was a phenomenal wedding planner in that she was incredibly flexible, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. My husband and I changed our minds about a hundred times on hotel venue vs small elopement and even went back and forth between several venues. Blaire was never impatient with us and truly wanted us to have the best day. The wedding day itself was perfect. I could not have hoped for a more organized, effortless, and stress-free experience. Throughout the day, Blaire and Sharon checked up on all of our guests and made sure their needs were met. They checked on us and asked if we needed anything, they handled all minor issues flawlessly and kept us informed so we felt none of the stress. Absolutely will be recommending Joyfully Co. to all of my family and peers for their weddings. We couldn't have made a better choice in using Heirloom Event Company to help us plan our wedding. Our planning timeline was only about 5 months, My husband and I lived in different countries and had to deal with the added stress of immigration visas on top of wedding planning. We wanted a planner who would understand our needs and someone we could trust to listen to our vision for the day and make it happen. Haylie was so easy to work with, always on top of deadlines and keeping us on track in the all stages of planning. She listened to our ideas and dreams and found vendors that suited and fit within budget. She found us an amazing coffee cart vendor after i said coffee would be awesome to have. We dreamed of it being a fairytale/ hobbiton vibes in the music, she found us a music duo who hit the brief perfectly. She helped us surprise each other the morning of and throughout the day. She communicated with vendors, understood the fine print in the contracts and would let us know what our responsibility was. She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. Haylie went above and beyond to make our wedding day our dream day and we cant thank her enough.

I am pretty convinced Shamecha and her team are magic. First of all, they were able to take my random thoughts and ideas and turn it into the most beautiful wedding imaginable, all while staying within our budget. Second, they were incredibly easy to communicate with and happily took care of any and all my requests. Shamecha had an answer for everything and made it so I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Lastly, they made the day of the wedding the most PERFECT day. If I needed anything at all they were right there. I was so impressed with how easy they made it look because me and my family were anything but easy. Shamecha is the most pleasant person I’ve ever worked with. She never made me feel like I was asking for too much or being over the top. I was told by nearly half of my guests that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, and that is all due to Ruban bleu team!!! I’m so glad I was able to work with them and would do it again in a heartbeat

My husband and I got married on 6/15/2024. I handled majority of our wedding planning, but as an OCD bride, my biggest anxiety was not being able to be hands on for the day of our wedding. Everyone was telling me that as the bride I had to enjoy my wedding day, but all I could think about was “I need to make sure everything goes exactly the way I’ve been planning it for the last year and a half”. That’s when I knew I needed a day of coordinator. I came across Star Rose Creations and I’m SO happy that I did. Miranda and Kylie are absolutely gems!! They are both so professional, caring, and understanding. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the initial meeting, to creating timelines for the day of, to making sure that everything was setup the way my floor plan showed, to handling the vendors, to making sure we kept on schedule for the ceremony and reception… I mean they handled it all! And most importantly, they kept me smiling which helped to keep my tears at bay on the happiest day of my life! I can’t tell you how happy I was to have them both there on our wedding day! Even our bridal party talked about them after our wedding and how impressed they were that Miranda and Kylie were so attentive to my husband and I. We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

My husband and I are so beyond pleased with our experience working with TGT. We got married in Nashville, TN this October and began planning about a year in advance from our home in Brooklyn, NY. As we dove deeper into how much of an undertaking this may actually be, we searched for assistance and came upon The Get Together. After our initial call with Lauren, we knew we absolutely would be working together. The business model of month-of-planning-agency is brilliant. It allowed me to pull together all of my big picture plans in advance and with TGT's help to hone everything into realistic expectations in the home stretch - we were able to pull off our dream wedding - within budget! Nothing but positive things to say about the entire team. Their organization, communication, direction, and expertise truly got us through the finish line with flying colors! As a queer couple from the South, we were made to feel extremely comfortable and supported from day one. Major shoutout to Jess, our on-site coordinator for day of - absolutely crushed. She kept me calm while accomplishing everything we had dreamed of in real time. Our wedding party and families felt extremely comfortable having Jess on-site. Thank you for everything, Jess! JayLynn was amazing to have during the wedding process. She would always answer any questions I had, she always offered to help with anything I needed done. The checklist she gave me helped so much during planning, especially the closer we got. The day of the wedding everything went so smoothly and if anything did go wrong my husband and I didn’t even know about it. Our venue didn’t allow us to start decorating until 1pm and our first look was at 1pm. I can’t imagine the stress I would have had if we didn’t have JayLynn and her team to decorate. JayLynn and her team also cleaned up on wedding day which allowed my husband and I to go straight to our after party. She is also very positive and puts your mind at ease! I cannot say how grateful I am for having JayLynn for our wedding!

But Keagan went above and beyond and helped make everything run so smoothly! Set-up would have been a nightmare without her. She had this amazing way of making me feel at ease, constantly reassuring me that everything was under control, and that meant the world to me. No matter how many questions I threw her way or how many times I changed my mind, Lo was patient, organized, and always on top of everything. On the day of the wedding, Lo was nothing short of a superhero. It wasn’t a day without challenges – from the unpredictable weather to vendor hiccups – but I can honestly say it felt perfect because of how seamlessly Lo handled it all. We hired Chrissy, as our Day of Coordinator, and overall, the experience was positive. She was incredibly nice and helpful, especially when it came to managing last-minute details. Chrissy stepped in seamlessly to take over everything I spent a year planning and handling unexpected changes, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. However, one area of improvement would be the level of attention to some of our must-have moments. We would highly suggest requesting a second announcement for the cake cutting, as there was so much cake left over from a 4-tier cake and guests wanted to take some with them. Additionally, we felt that we didn’t get as much exposure or focus as we had hoped compared to other couples, other than a picture of the blank balcony, but Chrissy was still able to help. Despite these minor issues, Chrissy was professional, attentive, spunky, and genuinely committed to making our day special. We appreciate the effort and dedication put into the day of coordinating our wedding, especially since it was in the Panhandle.

We met with Ani shortly after getting engaged where she shared her process, expertise, and transparent estimates for her services. She also helped us to understand what our overall budget could be for the wedding that we wanted to have. We felt like we could trust Ani right out of the gate. After deciding to work with her, we met on a monthly cadence to discuss options for things like venue, vendors, details, and timelines. She kept track of all of our details on a project management platform to which we had access. This kept us on track with what we had to work on, well ahead of schedule with most decisions, and relatively stress-free throughout the process. When it came to venues, vendors, and purchases, Ani did a great job of taking our expectations, budget, and general intended vibe for our wedding to source the right people/things. She has a great pulse on the best folks to work with and matched us up to 3-5 options to choose from. They were all amazing which made decision-making tough — a great problem to have! Ani is also flexible and consultative in how she works with you. We thought we had a clear idea of the kind of venue we wanted, but the first one we decided to look at (and ultimately the one we went with) was a departure from that. Ani was sure to check in with us to communicate that, but she swung with us when we we expressed interest in things we hadn’t fully entertained before. I would recommend having some idea of what you’d like, but just know that Ani is easily able to help you fill in the gaps. Overall, the planning process was seamless and Ani kept us on schedule so that we really weren’t stressed out about any of the logistical and aesthetic details of the wedding, giving us plenty of space to manage the personal parts of planning. As for the weekend of the wedding, Ani, Gab, and Gab ran the show like the pros that they are. Ani was there to orchestrate our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and welcome party and everything went off without a hitch. This gave us the ability to be fully present with our guests. The day of the wedding was no different. Ani and her team were the first people we saw when we started preparing for the day at the crack of 8am. Ani had a very solid timeline that was shared with all of our vendors and the venue and we stuck to it. They did an amazing job of getting all of our VIPs into position for the events of the day like hair/makeup, photos, and lunch. Ani was even sure to align with our VIPs on fielding questions and concerns about various things throughout the day. Basically, Ani and her team were there to manage any and all issues that popped up (hardly any did), so we could be free to be excited about getting married! She took the very few high-stress moments and brought us back down to earth. Like I said, working with Ani was the best decision we made for our wedding. We were lucky to have met her and planned our wedding with her, and our only regret is that we don’t get to plan another wedding with again soon.

My daughter and her husband just had the most beautiful outdoor wedding at King William Park, followed by an intimate reception at Rosarios in downtown San Antonio. The entire event was seamless, thanks to the help of our wedding coordinator, Jessica O’Connor. Jessica’s organization and planning skills are off the charts! About wedding planners

How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. Planners in areas with high costs of living, like New York City and San Francisco, may charge upwards of $20,000. If you’re having a destination wedding, consider using a planner local to the area—you’ll avoid paying extra for travel, accommodations, and meals. Day-of coordinators cost less. They may have a flat fee between $1,000 and $5,000, or charge hourly. Always ask about pricing up front so nothing comes as a surprise later.

What do wedding planners do?

Think of wedding planners as jack-of-all-trades experts when it comes to weddings. Many offer different levels of service to meet your needs. If you just want day-of coordination, for example, your planner will be there to make sure your ceremony and reception go off without a hitch. This may mean setting up vendors or directing your wedding party and guests to make sure everyone is where they need to be at the right time. On the other end of the spectrum, full-service planning may involve:

  • Starting the planning far in advance
  • Budget management
  • Coordinating with your venue
  • Recommending vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Staying on top of trends and making suggestions

Should we get a wedding planner?

Planners are great resources and can make planning your wedding much less stressful. If you’ve got the budget, a wedding planner is well worth the investment. Planners offer different service levels at varying price points. Choose the amount of help and cost that makes the most sense for you. At the bare minimum, you need someone (hired or delegated) to help manage the event day-of so you will be able to enjoy yourselves without worrying about too many logistics. If you decide to enlist a friend or family member to take on this role, keep in mind that this person will need to prioritize your needs over their own, and will no longer be attending or enjoying the wedding simply as a guest.
