With her extensive experience in Fashion Merchandising, Design, Styling, Business Mind & Event Coordinating Carolyn took her experience and vision to create her own company, Fête Events. Carolyn’s combination of energy & organization makes each of her events stand out among the rest. She combines her corporate training, design background with her amazing attention to detail, which creates timeless and unforgettable unique celebrations.

She brings a wealth of experience and ideas, yet matches each event or wedding to the bride & groom's personal style. It is important that your event reflects you, & is exactly what you want it to be. Whether it's a beach, Formal affair, or theme wedding, we will take your vision and bring it to life.     Carolyn is THE best wedding planner we could have ever asked for. She went way above and beyond to make our planning process and wedding absolutely seamless. She knew the answer to every question we had and would respond within minutes. I honestly don’t think we would have the wedding we had without her. We could not be more grateful for her and will forever cherish our big day because of Carolyn’s hard work.

    Hiring a planner was the one thing I was hesitant about when choosing my vendors because I didn't know how much help I would need, what I needed help with, or how a lot of wedding details/processes worked. As someone who struggles with not trying to do everything myself and has intense ADHD, I was a bride who needed gentle reassurance, kind reminders, and consistent support - Carolyn gave that and more. She's quick to respond, always finds time to hop on a call, will explain things to you as many times as you need, and proactively organizes with vendors and keep things in check. She is ready to problem solve at a moments notice with a Plan A, B, and C, and does is all with a composed, kind and confident demeanor. I a couple hiccups including my bridal shop dropping the ball with having my dress ready when it should have been and my flower delivery getting cancelled uncomfortably close to the wedding (those are reviews for another day), and Carolyn made me feel assured that we'd get it all worked out and everything worked out perfectly! She asked all the right questions and ones I hadn't thought to answer, and was ready with suggestions. I had some difficult moments come up with family, and she made me feel heard and crafted the ceremony and reception to cater to my complex family dynamic (to put it lightly). I am not one to often write reviews, usually because I forget to, unless I feel so compelled to sing the praises of those who really deserve them - and Carolyn has more than earned recognition. If you're unsure of who to hire for your wedding - I promise you will be in wonderful hands with Carolyn.

    From the moment we first spoke with Carolyn, we were impressed by her clear communication style and flexibility in working with our needs. We were looking for single day wedding coordination as we did all the planning ourselves. I did not want myself or my family to be burdened by planning/helping the wedding run smoothly. She allowed me, my husbands and our families to enjoy the day and spend time together. She proved to be incredibly detail-oriented, hard-working, and brought a positive energy that made working with her a joy. We had to find a new venue in 10 days, due to weather/road closure in Big Sur. We had to be flexible and change a lot of our plans. The Fete Events team helped in every way possible, helping look for new venues, going above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We cannot recommend them highly enough to any couple looking for a wedding planning partner or day of coordinator who will make their vision a reality and allow you to enjoy your own wedding day.

    Initially, we were hesitant about hiring a planner or coordinator because we were so far along in the process- but working with Carolyn the best decision we could have made. Not only was she so knowledgable, competent and efficient, she brought such a calm and relaxed energy to every meeting. She ensured that nothing felt stressful or overwhelming, and she was so accommodating of our family and friends on the wedding day. Carolyn absolutely went above and beyond to help us with our event and took care of so so many details that we never would have thought of- from collecting decor at the end of the night so our next morning was seamless and easy, to rearranging the order of events when needed, to jumping in and creating beautiful displays with leftover flowers. She is a true gem and a pleasure to work with. 10/10 highly recommend her for a wedding of any size!
