Along with that, whenever I would get decision fatigue from all of the wedding planning decisions, she would always help me come to a conclusion that would best fit our ideal wedding inspiration. On my wedding day, her and her assistant listened to all of my questions and concerns and ideas and made everything happen. I cannot recommend her enough! The whole experience with Liz and Blair was absolutely fantastic. Starting with our planning calls, they were constantly working to make sure that we weren't overly stressed about anything, to organize our very unorganized ideas for the wedding, and to help us find excitement and joy in the less exciting moments. On the actual wedding day, they were OUTSTANDING. We had absolutely zero stress day-of and were able to enjoy our wedding day with each other and the guests. It started raining midway through the reception and Liz and Blair pivoted to pull outside aspects under the tent, create a rain shield for the DJ, and ensure that guests didn't even notice the disruption. Lissa and her team was absolutely wonderful from the initial contact up to the end of our wedding day! No matter what kind of wedding you're having, she will make you and your partner feel like you have all of her attention as the most important couple. Throughout the whole process, she was so professional and supportive, even with not as traditional ideas. She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! Her attention to detail in making my timeline was also amazing and I felt that we were able to have the whole day planned to the dot before the big day. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran so smoothly and we were not stressed out at all! We had some small hiccups with the layouts that our venue had set up, but a quick word from Lissa had them fixing the issue. She's the perfect amount of assertiveness, professionalism, and friendliness with everyone, including the guests. The largest thing that stood out to us was how much all of our other vendors loved Lissa and working with her, and we could see it throughout the day. Our venue had restrictions such as a short setup window, but Lissa communicated with them and navigated the situation very well to make everything go smoothly. She also gave us a planning book to help keep track and our own personalized google sheet that literally had everything including our guest list and how everyone would be seated. Amaka was always available when needed and if she wasn't, she delegated someone else. My husband and I loved attending vendor visits with her and she would always offer to treat us to lunch/dinner whenever we had appts. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the wedding was blissful. I recommended her to a friend who has a destination wedding next year and they are already in love. A planning company that knows what they're doing, very honest with you rather than telling you what you want to hear and extremely resourceful. We also got to save on decor because they provided rentals since we booked the full service planning and Amaka with giving us tips on how to save on decor. We would virtually meet on Zoom once a month, but her secret weapon is a web portal that has everything you need to reference from customized timelines, budgeting, photo boards, vendors/contact info, & so much more! It also makes it very convenient to communicate through there. Instead of many emails or text chains about allllll the topics that will arise, you can post thoughts, questions, pictures, links, documents, & more. It will notify Veronica by email that you put something in Aisle Planner & she can read/respond & will get back to you within 24hrs. So although I did the 'virtual' package I never felt like I was alone or like Veronica wasn't there to help (she even video chatted with me at the final venue walkthrough 30 days before the wedding!) Even if you think you don't need help or it's not worth it, I promise that when your mental sanity is dwindling, especially towards the end with everything going on, you will be SOO happy you chose Veronica for either in-person or virtual wedding planning!

Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Kristy was the wedding vendor I didn’t know I needed, until I met her! My husband and I hired Kristy as our day of coordinator for our wedding last weekend and she was nothing short of amazing! Once our wedding was about 4 months out and we really started to get into the weeds of planning our big day, we realized that we needed a day of coordinator as we were doing a lot of DIY touches for the wedding and needed someone there to make sure our vision could actually come to life. Upon meeting Kristy, she immediately gave us a ton of ideas as to where to thrift on a tight budget and had so much information and helpful tips to offer. She also took over the vendor communication 3 months out which was a huge lift in the final planning stage! She was very effective in her coordination with all of our vendors and point of contacts so that on the day of the wedding we were really just enjoying the day both carefree and stress-free. Kristy offers a ton of helpful documents to review after your first session with her and she creates a custom timeline for you with the day scheduled to the minute. She was so organized and really kept us on track! Kristy also did an amazing job with the breakdown of the event especially since we brought in a lot of the decor in ourselves. She was flexible in making sure that all of our items got into one of our family member’s cars so it could be picked up whenever we had time the next day. This was a huge help so that guests at the wedding weren’t carrying flowers, vases, and signs home for us and instead headed directly to the after party. She even texted my parents the morning after with the details of where all of our items were stored and shared some great photos (and a reel with us) from the day! :) Kristy was also an advocate for us as clients, which went a really long way. We were having issues communicating well with one of our vendors, but Kristy stepped in and found a way to get a hold of the vendor and ensure our ask could be met. Without that push, our day would have looked a lot different than the vision we had hoped for- she really made our day come to life. After going through the wedding process, I truly think everyone needs a day of coordinator so if you have a slight inclination that someone is needed, think no further and contact Kristy! While weddings can get expensive as we all know, the best use of our money on our wedding day was spent on Kristy. Looking back on our day, we can’t thank her enough!!

When it came time to plan our own wedding, we weren’t completely sold on the idea of a wedding planner, but our friends told us how we should consider it because of their experience with Create You Events. For them, Vicky and her team were able to assist with a lot of the burden of wedding planning and coordination and said their help was definitely worth the added cost. We remembered the positive first impression we had when we saw them in action at our friend's wedding and decided to have an introductory call. Vicky and her team were very flexible on the services and packages to meet our specific needs. We ultimately decided to have them help us with planning, design/decorations, and day of coordination. For planning, Vicky and the team showed their expertise in the wedding industry. For us, we weren’t as familiar with all the terminology and customs for weddings and Vicky was able to guide us through everything from the best way to talk to vendors and what to look for when touring our venue. She helped keep us on schedule in terms of what work needed to be done throughout the months leading up to the wedding date, and was great at motivating us throughout the process. She and her team stayed up late through the night to do planning calls with us, and were always available and responsive for any questions we had. The team members were so patient and understanding, and great sounding boards for every detailed decision, no matter how small. When my wife had minor decision fatigue melt-downs over whether or not to pay extra for chargers and colorful linens, or which exact flowers to include in the bouquets, Vicky and her team were there to talk through our thought process and help us get to a decision we felt comfortable with. We also had the Create You Events team help us with designing our wedding invites, menus, programs, and signage, which all came out beautifully. They really understood what we were looking for in terms of colors and styles and were able to just take some sample Pinterest pictures to be able to make amazing designs for us. As for the wedding day itself, we ran into many logistical issues with our venue and the (lack of) venue staff. Vicky and her team really stepped up to fill in multiple roles last minute, and make sure everything went smoothly for us. There were so many issues that we didn't even know about, and the Create You team handled them seamlessly. Looking back, we’re so glad we decided to spend the money to have the Create You Events team help us for our wedding. If you’re thinking about having a team help you out for an event, we highly recommend hiring Vicky and her team. Their support and guidance during our wedding planning process and during the wedding day itself were really indispensable.

Everything from the ceremony rehearsal to our last dance and send off was perfectly executed and easy. Our entire wedding party raved about LaShonda and her incredibly helpful schedule — a HUGE bonus for this Type A/control freak bride. I knew LaShonda had everything covered - even things I never thought of - so I was able to fully relax in the days leading up to the wedding and on wedding day. Welp, let me tell you folks--it is decidedly *not*. We had our wedding at the Intercontinental on the Wharf: all 3 wedding events throughout the weekend. I hired Natasha as some decisions were becoming mildly overwhelming and her prices were *chefs kiss*. When I say she and Bianca saved the day MULTIPLE times during our weekend, I am not overstating. She made every vendor organizational correspondence and handled all last minute questions they had--it was the best decision I made about the wedding (minus the groom, he's #1 ;)). Do yourself a favor as the price is MORE than absolutely worth the help and bliss Natasha will deliver you--BOOK.HER.IMMEDIATELY. Our wedding was postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID. This year we decided to finally do this thing. With two months to finalize plans. And a budget of roughly 6K. Our wedding coordinator, photographer, and caterer were no longer available. I posted in one of my Facebook groups looking for help and Johnnie came to the rescue right away. She helped us narrow down food options and find affordable entertainment, HMU, and photography. Our wedding was a super casual lakeside affair. Our venue was a former girl scout camp and we had weekend events all over the grounds. Once the golf cart got there, Johnnie was zooming around, making sure that everyone and everything were where they needed to be when they needed to be there. She went above and beyond, and if there were any hiccups in our big day I didn’t (and still don’t) know about them. I don’t think you can ask for anything more. I highly recommend hiring Johnnie and Co Events for your event planning needs!!

Sarah and the rest of the Events by Rose team were the MVPs of our wedding planning process. She is outstanding at balancing all the moving parts of a wedding with ease, and always made sure we felt comfortable with every step of the process. Sarah always took the time to help us finetune even the smallest of details, making sure the day would include everything we wanted. So many of our friends have said the wedding process was one of the most stressful times in their lives, but we did not have that experience at all and this is hugely attributed to Sarah and her team. The experience was enjoyable and exciting, and we never once found ourselves overwhelmed. Ricki was the absolute best investment I made in my wedding. She was so easy to work with and is single-handedly the reason my wedding went off without a hitch. From our first meeting to loading up decor at the end of the wedding day, she was amazing, enthusiastic, and professional. She went above and beyond in dealing with vendors and took so much off my plate. She also saved my mental health in the months/weeks leading up to the wedding, not bothered by my many questions and random thoughts and happily answered them all. She took my random thoughts and my very rough vision for decor and ran with it. I was stunned and amazed when I saw how everything turned out. She also was amazing in dealing with an unhappy venue staff member at the end of the wedding, ensuring our evening was perfect. So much so that we didn’t realize anything had happened until the next day. I cannot recommend Ricki and her team enough!!
