The fearless Elizabeth Carberry Creative team brings over 15 years of collective experience. After having studied Art History at Dickinson College, Elizabeth went on to start her first company, an art and artist consulting firm in 2011. Pivoting her role as brand manager, creative director and marketing guru for DC area artists, Elizabeth focused on small businesses and start ups, and began applying her creative eye to photo styling and content creation. It was through the passion of styling and creating small moments of beauty that she found her love for love and desire to plan the weddings of the amazing couples that she works with.

Our team is rounded out by Kristen, who is focused on creating the same client experience that Elizabeth has been providing for the last ten years. As a team, we are involved in every aspect of each others’ work, constantly making sure that our goal of making our clients’ dreams come true is achieved, with a smile on our faces (and a Starbucks tea in hand). We believe that our work is intertwined in the attention to detail and desire to make dreams a reality, whether it be trough images that inspire your audience, content that speaks to your brand aesthetic or making a wedding day come to life!

  • a picture perfect (pandemic) wedding

    Elizabeth Carberry and her team are truly second to none in the wedding planning space. Back in 2019, I had met with numerous planners in DC and the stars aligned on cost, vision, and personality with Elizabeth immediately. Even before we signed on the dotted line, Elizabeth was hard at work taking the things we mentioned in our first call and setting up appointments with vendors. As it turned out, this would be an excellent indication of how thoughtful, efficient, and hardworking she and her team would be in working with us to plan our dream wedding(s) over the next few years. When the pandemic hit, we had already booked our date and many vendors but it was clear we probably weren’t going to move forward with our original date or vision, Elizabeth was so on top of rescheduling things and renegotiating on our contracts, we felt totally supported the entire time. She really went above and beyond. We started planning another version of our wedding on a rescheduled date and once again, another wave of the pandemic hit and we were out of luck again. While I’m sure Elizabeth and her team were as exhausted and frustrated as we were, they kept everything professional while also being incredibly empathetic to the situation. We canceled our second attempt at a wedding and went back to the drawing board. Third times the charm, it seems! My husband and I decided to scrap our plans for a big 200 person wedding bash in DC and have an intimate ceremony of 45 people at my parents cabin in PA. We proposed this idea to Elizabeth, knowing it was a huge pivot and trek for her, but without really any hesitation we shifted gears and started planning our new dream wedding in the mountains of PA. Within a matter of days, our contracts had been once again renegotiated with vendors who wanted to make the trip to another state and new vendors were found (a seemingly impossible task in rural PA). The day went off without a hitch and my husband and I look back on the whole process and wedding day so fondly, even with the nightmare of the pandemic. The day of, Elizabeth and her team were so incredible and efficient but stayed behind the scenes, making sure I knew they were there but not overwhelming us. The ceremony and reception were so beautiful and fun- she made our vision a reality. We woke up the next morning and everything was disassembled/organized and ready for the vendors to pick up. Of note, Elizabeth is also incredibly professional and will advocate for you with difficult vendors and make sure you’re not getting taken advantage of- you can tell she’s seasoned pro! Elizabeth and her team are the reason why, even after two foiled attempts, we have nothing but amazing memories from the wedding planning and actual day of! I recommend Elizabeth Carberry to anyone getting married- she and her team are the best of the best. Thank you for our perfect day, EC!

    Elizabeth was the BEST DECISION I made while wedding planning. We chose the full wedding package and her work was absolutely priceless. She also isn't just a wedding planner during the whole experience - she's also your stylist, sounding board, therapist, and best friend throughout it all. I could cry thinking about how special she made everything, and her level of expertise in the business in unmatched. She STICKS TO HER TIMELINE on the wedding day, and you will not run late. The vendors also love working with her. Her efficiency, attention to detail, and eye for style is unmatched. She also spared so much stress for myself, husband, and both our families. So many wedding guests asked for her contact info after the wedding as well. Do yourself a favor and BOOK HER before she's taken!
