I was referred to TCC by a friend of mine and hiring a coordinator was the best decision I have made in my life (outside of saying "yes" to my husbands proposal). I generally am a super organized and capable person who plans events/convening's in DC but a wedding is a whole different beast and I wouldn't have been able to do it without Ja'el's help! We actually decided to have a destination wedding in Mexico and this was TCC's first destination wedding overall but I couldn't tell! Ja'el was very knowledgable about the process and really made sure I stuck to the timeline that I created (and she corrected) and keep me feeling positive about the whole experience. During the actual wedding day I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. I could not imagine how different my views on my wedding would be if I didn't have her working with the on-site coordinator to make sure things were in the correct place at the correct time, troubleshooting things, etc. I will also say that Ja'el is truly a JOY to work with. She is so funny and calming - I was dreading the process and she made it so much better. Ja'el, don't get mad that I am saying this story but it still makes me laugh: While I was getting ready in the suite with my bridesmaids, Ja'el popped in to make sure we had our breakfast and adequate amounts of champagne. She was on her iPad in full wedding planner mode and I started to ask her some dumb question (truly, just unnecessary nervous-bride questions). She just stared at me and said "aren't you supposed to be sitting down and drinking champagne" and I was realized that she was right! So I sat and stopped worrying about everything! And everything was PERFECT! I'm actually very sad that I won't be able to talk to Ja'el every week now since I don't plan on having another wedding anytime soon. If you are considering hiring a planner, hire her and her team! Truly the best investment and addition to our budget!

She is beyond wise for her years and knows everything a bride could ask in hand already. Even with me being in the industry Brooklyn would ask me questions leading up to the big day I didn't even know I had, she made sure I knew when and how to get my marriage license and took care of sending it back to the clerk for us. She handled getting the rings to the correct bridal party members and made sure to grab our vow books before the ceremony so we didn't have to remember them. She made all the difference plus she continued to come and check in in me to see how I was doing throughout the getting ready process and has the calmest nature helping me to feel ready before I walked down the aisle. not only did she handle coordination and officiating the wedding she sprinkled in some extra magic by taking some gorgeous photos throughout the day and sent them to me the morning after the wedding so I would have a little something until my professional photos arrived! I am so utterly grateful to Brooklyn for making the best day of my life utterly perfect. She may be based in Ohio, however, my wedding was in Michigan-she has traveled all over the United States to work weddings and is so worth it, so feel free to inquire about out of state travel. Teyanna an her team went above and beyond for my wedding. My family stressed me out during the process and my mom was very overbearing but Teyanna made sure to make her feel included in the planning process; which I really appreciated. Teyanna kept me on track with my budget ensuring I didn’t overspend as sometimes I like things that are outside of my financial reach. She never tried to force her will on me and always made sure what I wanted was at the forefront. On the wedding day, I arrived to the bridal suite at the venue and there was already breakfast there waiting for me and my bridesmaids and hair and makeup team. The groom and team had food and drinks also even though they arrived much later. Lissa and her team was absolutely wonderful from the initial contact up to the end of our wedding day! No matter what kind of wedding you're having, she will make you and your partner feel like you have all of her attention as the most important couple. Throughout the whole process, she was so professional and supportive, even with not as traditional ideas. She had such a quick response time, usually within a day, or a couple hours, and sometimes even sooner! Her attention to detail in making my timeline was also amazing and I felt that we were able to have the whole day planned to the dot before the big day. On the wedding day, she made sure everything ran so smoothly and we were not stressed out at all! We had some small hiccups with the layouts that our venue had set up, but a quick word from Lissa had them fixing the issue. I cannot recommend Lush Event Co. and Rachel enough!! Our wedding day was flawless! We chose her full-scale planning package and it was so worth it! We had just moved to Pittsburgh when we started planning and knew nothing about which vendors to use or even which venue to pick. Rachel made our lives so much easier by setting up tours of venues and finding us something that matched our vision and met our needs. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. She kept everything organized on a Google Drive that we had access to and she was always available via email or text. Her knowledge of vendors in the Pittsburgh area was so impressive. Every vendor she recommended received a 5-star review. Any problems that came up with vendors leading up to the wedding were addressed so quickly by Rachel that I didn’t even have time to be stressed about it. Shaymah was extremely organized with a very chaotic wedding - chaos due to family drama, etc. While the chaos was stressful, Shaymah was very detailed and thorough with all of the wedding planning, including designing florals and signs completely on her own (great designer too!), and including last minute issues with guest count, etc. She's very sweet, kind and helpful and great to work with! I would recommend her for any type of wedding event. She was also very professional through all of the chaos and made sure that the event went well!

Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!
