A Touch of Whimsi is a planning/event co based out of Knoxville TN. We serve all of TN as well as offering destination/travel planning. I have been doing weddings since 2008 and I am passionate about connecting with every one of my couples and helping them create their vision for their special day. It’s so important to handle all of the little details and I go out of my way to make sure your wedding is as beautiful to you, as my wedding was to me!

I am a master planner, I care about you , and it is my attention to detail, and my ability to fine tune those details, that will make your day run smoothly! It is my job to make sure that I handle all of the details so you can relax. When you look back years from now on your wedding day, you will have memories of a lifetime!

    I can't say enough good things about our wedding coordinator Kate and her assistant! From start to finish, Kate was incredibly organized, attentive, and professional. She took all the stress out of planning and made sure every detail was perfect. From helping me with my timeline, vendor communication, running our rehearsal, and setting up and breaking down on our wedding day she did it all! Our big day went off without a hitch, and it was all thanks to their hard work and dedication. Highly recommend!

    We hired Kate as our day of coordinator and she went above and beyond those duties! She started reaching out to me months before the wedding and was always happy to help/answer any questions I had. We had several hiccups with weather issues and had to adjust our ceremony location and she was on top of getting all that fixed/moved all while I was happily getting ready. She was great to work with and I’d highly recommend her!

    I have had to the opportunity to work with Kate, assisting her with multiple weddings this past year. Just when I thought she couldn't outdo herself, she did it again. She is extremely organized but more importantly, quick under pressure & chaos. I recently watched her pull off a miracle, when a bridal party, without communication that morning, arrived to a venue almost 4 hours late, with most of their decor. Kate was collected & kept the other waiting vendors calm, while updating them on the constant time line changes via trying to keep her bridal party happy. She did an amazing job at utilizing the remaining paid for time, with other vendors, to make sure the party got what they asked for & was able to get all decor put together in the midst During which, she received a compliment from the venue ower, who was also on a time budget. Although the ceremony started almost 1.5 hours late, she able to keep guests, the DJ, & caterers updated to ensure everything about the day kept its sequence. It turned out beautifully, just as if it had started at the agreed time. I can't recommend Kate enough, to make sure your day goes exactly as you envision it.
