Teyanna was absolutely everything and more! I hired her for day of coordination, decor and florals. She exceeded my expectations. We had a South Asian Muslim wedding. She took the time to listen and understand my culture, wishes and vision. She was extremely realistic and reminded me of my budget and what I could do vs not do. I’m a project manager and extremely Type A. It’s hard to impress me, but she was not only able to impress me but was a step ahead. She and I worked on a timeline and had multiple versions to make sure everything was accounted for. She started advising me several months ahead of my wedding. I’m so grateful for her, it’s so important to have someone day of. If you’re gonna spend tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding HIRE TEYANNA so you can enjoy the day you spent so much time and money on. Teyanna and her team worked so freaking hard, more than anyone I know. I don’t think my wedding would’ve been the way it was without.

This being my first wedding, and having no experience with the process, I cannot fathom having done it without Rylee and her Team. While I only used their month of services, without missing a beat, 30 days out Rylee and her Team came in quickly, professionally, and orchestrated every detail with brilliance and finesse. Their attention to detail was unparalleled. Rylee really understood our vision and our day beautifully reflected our personalities and desires. We were blown away at how smoothly everything went on our wedding day. Their calm demeanor and reassuring presence make it such a comfortable peaceful experience and we were able to feel like we were present for our wedding. We didn't have to worry about a thing. My only suggestion would be to hire Rylee and her Team farther out to avoid the headache and stress leading up to the wedding. While having them a month out was a life saver, I wish I would have saved my self the 11 months of stress and hired them sooner.

I knew I would be a tough client for any wedding planner - I have worked for over a decade as a Production Coordinator for tv, theater, dance, music and special events, and I am meticulous when it comes to logistics and details. Our beautiful venue Juniper Mountain House is an incredibly unique location, and because of that they smartly partner with McArthur Weddings and Events to be part of their venue fee, getting planner services 60 days out from the wedding. That arrangement was perfect for me since I wanted to plan most of my wedding myself and then be able to pass it off to someone I could trust to execute my vision. When we first met with Laura and Zoe from McArthur, I could tell we were in the best of hands. The documentation alone (including a color coded checklist timeline to keep me on schedule for the planning I did myself) was a work of beauty, and both Laura and Zoe were so easy to work with, offered advice and suggestions about how to best achieve what we were going for, and were absolutely rockstars on the day of. We had a bunch of variables - my 100 lbs sweet but powerful pup was in our ceremony and signing our marriage license, we decided to shuttle all of our guests to Evergreen from Boulder about 45 min away using both party buses and car services at a variety of departure/arrival times, my husband and I wanted to not see each other until I walked down the aisle - which in a small outdoor venue can definitely be a challenge, and in classic Colorado summer fashion we got a big rainstorm mid-ceremony. But absolutely everything went perfectly! When it started raining, Laura and Zoe moved our lounge furniture to be spread out under the various covered spaces and were on hand with clear umbrellas (one of my favorite photos is of us in the woods right after the ceremony having a moment under the umbrella in the rain). They coordinated with my dog sitter in picking up my beast of a pup and getting him and all of his things home safely so I could be worry free. My crazy transportation plan all happened and I heard nothing about it, which is the ideal. I truly can’t thing of one thing I would go back and change, and that was in huge part to the McArthur - including their day of champ assistant Molly! We’ll be forever grateful that the McArthur team gave us our dream day!

Anything we asked for, she did a great search to find the best options. Anytime we were stressed out about anything, we just called her right away and she always made us calm by finding a solution! I cannot say enough great things about working with Jaime! She truly made the stressful experience so easy. From the time I met her at a bridal show, up until even now after wedding day, Jaime has been a pleasure to work with. I can not be more grateful and pleased with Sam if I tried!! I hired her for The Day of Coordinator to help everything run smoothly. Her professionalism & knowledge was just what we needed to make this happen. Her sweet personality was a huge bonus and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The communication between her and my daughter was excellent. Sam was very prompt with answering any of my daughter’s questions prior, during and after the wedding. Her service fee is VERY reasonable. She traveled from Dayton, three hours each way, for the rehearsal and for the wedding !! Sam and her team helped box all the centerpieces and miscellaneous items while we were still enjoying the evening. This was a huge help and I was very thankful for the extra time that was freed up for us to spend with family and friends. There was a small hiccup with our food caterer and Sam quickly jumped in and solved the problem. I could not have asked for a more perfect day for my daughter, it was everything she dreamed of and we were all stress free thanks to Sam. I would HIGHLY recommend The Black Barn Event Planning. Sam is amazing at what she does!!

Denae is the most professional person I’ve ever met. From day one she had a plan and she was sticking to it. Throughout the entire process, Denae was there to calm my nerves. I was nervous about the big day but she made sure everything was perfect. Denae is very organized. Without her I’m not sure how our wedding would have turned out. It was magical. The venue was beautiful, the decorations were something straight out of a fairytale, the food was impeccable, and the music was perfect for the mood. With Denae the time and financial investment is more than worth it. She made us feel like we were her only clients. Our wedding was definitely an event to remember. We had such a great time. I had the opportunity to work with Lee Ramsay Events for our wedding in August. Lee demonstrated the perfect temperament and attention to detail needed. My fiancé is a surgical resident meaning much of the planning was left to me (the groom) and Lee. Lee managed all of the personalities in our wedding party, family, and venue masterfully. We continue to receive compliments days and weeks after about our wedding and the level of organization that made our day flow so well. She was a true joy to work with and all of our other vendors shared that she was one of the best planners they had ever worked with. When we hired Lee, we did not think we needed a full planner, but she more than demonstrated her ability in one of Manhattan’s premier venues. Lee offered other value add services and guidance to making our wedding weekend the perfect one. Her team of bridal attendants and assistants were incredible on Wedding day. I cannot recommend Lee Ramsay Events enough. I am excited to watch her career take off because she is clearly one of NYC’s most talented people in the event space and can handle events large and small.

I was about 4 months out from my wedding date when I came to terms that I needed help - as any bride who thought they could do it all on their own lol. I was struggling finding my last two vendors - draping & aisle runner. I knew on the day of the wedding I simply just could not be everywhere at once and needed extra hands. Luckily I came across Monica on Zola and thank God I did. I mainly reached out to her to assist with the rehearsal and day of coordinating but she went above and beyond that. In addition to helping secure my last two vendors, Monica made sure I stayed on top of everything and gave suggestions on things I didn’t even think of in regard to smaller details and flow of events. She was readily available if ever I needed her opinion or guidance on anything…. Or if I needed to just vent and rant lol. I literally did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding because of Monica and her assistant. They executed everything to a tee. When my husband and I got engaged in May 2023, Wild Rose was the very first vendor I booked (I sent my inquiry the day after he proposed). As a venue owner with more than 5 years in the industry at the time, I knew that the most important, non-negotiable vendor would be our coordinator. I knew that I wanted the full planning aspect so that I could enjoy the process as a BRIDE, not from an industry or “work” perspective. Brenna and Molly had been so amazing to work with at the venue, I absolutely loved their product and knew I had to have them do my wedding. From day one they made me feel so confident in our choices, our to-do list felt like it was handled and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They fully designed our day - stationary, florals, decor rentals, it was such a blast to have our check-in meetings on Zoom to SEE our design come together. They handled all of the vendor exchanges, including when we arrived to our venue in Costa Rica and it looked completely different than the pictures online so we ended up moving our ceremony site to our welcome party site with 24 hours to go! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t worry for a second, but I did worry - if only for a second. Truly Brenna and Molly said “we got this” and they handled it so easily. I was worried about packing two wedding dresses for international travel - Molly had me bring them and my suitcase to work and she herself packed them perfectly. When we got to Costa Rica they came to our villa to unpack and hang them safely. On my wedding day Molly steamed my veil and was actually the one to get me in my dress. They were also so incredibly understanding with everything I wanted to do to include my mother who passed away in 2021. I brought a necklace with cremation remains and they so lovingly tied it on my bouquet for me. They carried the portrait I had my now mother-in-law carry down the aisle around with them throughout the day like she was just hanging out with them. They even took the portrait back to their flat so mom was at their “after party.” Our 3 sons are the first to refer our friends and family that are wedding planning to “Miss Brenna and Molly” - they loved hanging out with them for the week we were together. Overall - I love Brenna and Molly enough to spend a year in meetings with them AND fly them to Costa Rica for a week, along with our 30 closest family and friends. Their care, attention to detail, and confidence continue to amaze me and Wild Rose will always and forever be the best thing I ever did for our wedding!

I could fill the entire Pacific Ocean with compliments for Michelle and her team. Michelle was part of our planning process for nearly 2.5 years (thanks 2020). Despite endless uncertainties, Michelle was always patient, kind, understanding, and optimistic while realistic. We always felt we could trust Michelle no matter the issue - which is the most important when choosing your vendors. Not only does she have a great eye for design, she is meticulous and detail oriented. She provided all the organization and design resources we needed and truly understood our vision. A huge plus is that she is well attuned to East Asian traditions and can speak to guests who do not understand English. There were so many details we would have missed had it not been for Michelle. Even though our bridal party and family only had short interactions with Michelle on the wedding day, they all commented and were so impressed by her level of organization, positive attitude, and constant smile. When the weather prediction showed 70% chance of rain on our wedding the entire week leading up to it, Michelle worked hard even at late hours to ensure we had a backup plan that fit our vision and communicated with our vendors for options. Not only so, she paid for an hourly weather app to see if it would stop raining by our ceremony time. By some miracle, the rain cleared. When we needed extra rentals at the last minute, Michelle went out of her way to help us pick them up and received packages for us since we were out of town. We never expected any vendor to do this for us. These are just a few examples of the numerous times she went above and beyond. Although she juggles many events, she always makes you feel like you are the top priority. Michelle will treat your wedding like her own with the full attention it deserves. Our day was perfect, all thanks to the Somni Events team!

My husband and I can’t speak highly enough of Corinne and Molly. We were so on the fence about hiring wedding planners but ultimately decided to go with the month-of package. They swooped in and made our lives so much easier during such a hectic time, taking a world off of our shoulders. On our wedding day, they were the point of communication with everyone. My phone did not ring once. They set up and broke down all of our decorations, communicated with all of our vendors, helped arrange our rehearsal, helped coordinate our timeline.. They anticipated situations and offered suggestions for things that we otherwise never would have thought of until the problem came up. Not to mention taking tons and tons of pictures and videos so we had something to look at the next day before our formal photos were available. They even took our dog for a walk! We did not have to worry about a single thing and we were able to be present with each other and soak in every moment. You can’t put a price on that. I can tell you for a fact that if we didn’t have Corinne and Molly there to help us, we would have regretted it. They are absolutely incredible people and amazing at what they do. We really appreciated Cliona's approach to the wedding coordination process. We felt like she understood our approach and she didn't impose her way of thinking on us. Working together was easy, and our prep calls were very valuable, especially as she helped identify any gaps in the planning we'd already done. The caterers had some unexpected challenges, and Cliona managed the situation well, and importantly she made sure that we didn't have to stress about it. Words can't do justice to the work Alex and her team provide to couples leading up to and on the day of our wedding. We hired Alex's team to be our day-of coordinator, but she was always available to be our advocate or simply tell us we weren't crazy and that was in fact not the way things should be done when we ran into issues. On the wedding day, her team put out fires that we never needed to worry about and put in extra work after our wedding day while we were on our honeymoon advocating for us to resolve issues with vendors that didn't fulfill their commitment on our wedding day. Outside of the great work her team did on the day of the wedding, Alex was a huge support for both of us throughout the day just being a human that cared about us and not a wedding vendor that has a contractual obligation. How much does a wedding planner cost?

On average, a full-service wedding planner can cost between $3,000 and $10,000. It depends on where you live and where you’re getting married. What do wedding planners do?

Should we get a wedding planner?
