Mg Event Design
Marcea's experience comes to you decades in the making. Having grown up with a wedding coordinator mom, Marcea started coordinating weddings and receptions at a very young age. She went on to plan events with a prominent Seattle restaurant company, and has planned dinners and parties large and small for churches, non-profit organizations, schools, and small businesses, ranging in size from a small gathering to a crowd of 1,000. Her own Christmas parties are legendary, something she also learned from her mom. She brings the same passion to every event, every time.
We are three-generation planners! Marcea works most weddings with her daugher and occasionally her mom will still help out, too. We have decades of experience between us and understand family dynamics!

Attention to the details
As a wedding videographer, I've found that a well-coordinated plan is an essential ingredient to a smooth, stress-free wedding. Marcea at MG Event Design is a spectacular planner and coordinator. She is quick to respond to any questions I have, and she has great attention to detail. If you want to work with someone with a ton of experience and expertise in the wedding industry, you should give Marcea a call!

Marcea and her daughter made all of my wedding dreams come true!! Did anything go wrong during my wedding? I would have no idea! Marcea handled absolutely everything and I walked into the most beautiful space. She handled all scheduling and timing for the day. It took a huge load off my shoulders. I cannot recommend MG Events enough!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Marcea for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! From the first meeting, we knew she would be attentive and available throughout the wedding planning process. We opted for her Event Management Package which was perfect for our needs as it involved having day-of coordination along with multiple meetings prior to the big day. Marcea was always approachable if we needed to reach out to her. The day of the wedding, Marcea and her assistant, Natalie, were amazing in ensuring everything ran smoothly. We appreciated how they would check in with us throughout the evening, as well as their great attention to detail. When my wife and I were shopping around for a wedding planner, we spoke with a handful of folks who just didn’t seem quite right for us. Many were friendly and seemed plenty organized, but they lacked a certain quality that we couldn’t put our finger on. That all changed when we spoke with Marcea. From even our first conversation, Marcea’s assuredness and clear headed approach to our big day was clear. She brought a kind of confidence to our wedding discussion that was the missing link for those we spoke to beforehand. That confidence carried into our planning once we started working together, and it completely eliminated much of the doubt and worry we had about our big day. While much of the wedding planning process is joyful and exciting, there is a less-than-desirable side fueled by stress that can sour the experience. Marcea’s magic juju is taking that stress away, and she helped make our planning process as joyful as possible. When the big weekend came, Marcea’s professionalism shined. From orchestrating our rehearsal to seamlessly ushering vendors on site, Marcea did not miss a single logistical beat. And, as we prepared for our ceremony, she also brought an infectious sense of excitement and positivity that my wife, myself, and our wedding party greatly appreciated as nerves ran high. A particularly special moment that my wife and I greatly appreciated was when Marcea brought my wife and me a plate of hors d'oeuvres after our photos were finished. It may sound like a simple gesture, but the fact is Marcea kept our well-being and comfort top of mind, and we sincerely appreciated her effort to keep us fueled up on such an action packed night. I could go on and on about the countless ways Marcea went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was as enjoyable as possible, but a review has to end somewhere. With that said, I’ll end with this. Although there are many great wedding planners, working with Marcea felt like cheating our way to our perfect wedding. In our honest opinion, working with her is like a guarantee that you feel less stressed, more happiness, and can focus on the good stuff from beginning to end.
