Hello, I'm Tonya. I am a documentary wedding, boudoir & lifestyle photographer with an editorial approach based in Fairfield County, Connecticut. At the heart of my work, you will find authentic connection & composition, some of the most important things to me as an artist. I build on that with honest storytelling with a more editorial approach. My inspiration lies in authentic human connection & emotions, pockets of light, vintage film, movement, honest interactions, vibrant colors found in nature, fog after a rainfall. Finding beauty in the most ordinary things.

While my approach is documentary and my goal is to deliver photos that tell a story, I know most people are not comfortable in front of a camera. I help my clients by setting them up in poses and angles that are flattering to them, then guiding them through movement and connection to create an overall candid vibe. I want your photos to feel like you and feel that the most honest way to get there is to build trust through getting to know you and creating a collaborative space. I encourage you to be yourselves and be open to being vulnerable. If you give me your honest selves, I will capture you as such.
