Hi, it's Jenni, I am a couples and wedding photographer based in Connecticut. I love hikes and adventures, nature is my natural habitat and my biggest dream is to travel the world. I am hopeless romantic and I will probably shed a tear at every wedding I attend or photograph, so if you see me wipe a tear at your wedding no you didn't lol. I am also a dog mom and I love animals in general, my puppy means the world to me! I am a dedicated, passionate, fun and caring person and I put love in everything I do. I can't wait to work with you!

I found myself when I became a photographer, my whole life I wondered what the heck I would be in the future and I couldn't be happier to have found photography and to be able to work with something that makes me so satisfied and complete. Being a photographer wasn't my childhood dream, but I always knew that I would like to work with people and now I have the opportunity to capture your love, happiness and special moments through my lenses and eternalize it... and that means the world to me!

Jenni with J Maurer Photography was a dream to work with for our wedding photography. Her communication throughout the planning process was consistently kind, fast, and professional, which we really appreciated during a hectic wedding season. On our big day, Jenni rolled with the punches when bad weather forced us to change plans last minute. I could not recommend Jenni enough! She is so sweet and instantly made us feel comfortable. I normally don't like photos of myself BUT have yet to see a photo of myself that Jenni has taken that I don't like! She photographed our engagement photoshoot last October and our wedding this past weekend. She left our wedding on a Sunday night, and we had sneak peaks by Tuesday afternoon - I don't know how she works her magic so fast!! We love every single photo we have seen so far and cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding gallery!

I can’t explain how happy I am with Jenni’s work! I didn’t only love the results but I really appreciate how much she helped during the ceremony, especially by setting the livestream up so my family and friends from Brazil could watch this special moment. They also made us feel comfortable in front of the cameras, since we both are a little awkward in front of cameras haha Can’t forget to mention how nice and fun they were with everyone and this is very special to me! Thank you for making us look so hot on the pictures hahaha we love and appreciate your work!
