AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID is a boutique event company owned & operated by husband & wife team, Jimmy & Ana Salvemini. Having performed around the world with Gloria Gaynor, Luther Vandross, and George LaMond to name a few, the Salveminis were looking for an innovative way to bring that same quality of showmanship and professionalism to your special event! We are the perfect balance between a DJ and a LIVE BAND. Our DJ is an integral band member allowing us to create custom edits and mashups that you won't find anywhere else! We are a rehearsed group of professional musicians for couples who feel music is of the utmost importance at their wedding. Attention to detail & personal customer service throughout your entire wedding planning process is our top priority. We are always available to give you our expert advice along the way!

    We had AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID perform at our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are truly AMAZING and are the perfect mix of live and DJ entertainment! From day one, Ana and Jimmy were a pleasure to work with—responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in crafting an event that fit our style. The whole process was seamless, from the initial call to the questionnaire and meetings leading up to the event. We especially appreciated that they customized the tempo of our first dance, making the moment feel even more special. For cocktail hour, we enjoyed live guitar, and for the reception, we had a fantastic mix of guitar, drums, vocals, DJ, and trumpet. Several guests commented that AMP was the best group of performers they had ever seen at a wedding! The band catered to all generations and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Their talent and ability to choose the perfect songs kept the energy high and the party going. If you're looking for a DJ/Band hybrid, we highly recommend AMP—you won’t be disappointed!

    Having AMP Band for our wedding was an A Experience. For our wedding, we used the DJ/Band Entertainment for reception, along with the String Duo Violins for the ceremony. During the pre-wedding planning stage, Ana & Jimmy took the time to get to know us on a personal level and answered all of our questions quickly through emails and zooms. What I loved about the planning stage with them was their ability to incorporate our music suggestions, while also providing feedback on music through their expertise. On the wedding day, they absolutely crushed it!! During our wedding, it was a perfect mix of live and dj entertainment during our reception. They met all of our expectations music-wise and did a phenomenal job of playing music to all generations during the night. We had countless people raving about their performance in the days after their wedding. Can’t recommend them anymore!!!

    Words can’t express how much we loved working with Ana & Jimmy and the entire Amp DJ Band Hybrid. My husband really wanted a band while I really wanted a DJ, Amp DJ band was the perfect mix. We found Ana & Jimmy immediately and were able to schedule a meeting with them the next day. We knew right away that they were right for us. They were extremely attentive and outgoing from the start. They answered all out of questions and addressed concerns we had. We booked them immediately because we didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to work with them. We met with them several times through our 6 month planning process. They responded immediately to any questions that popped up along the way and even allowed us to make a last minute change the night before. They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. The amount of compliments my husband & I received about the band far exceeded anything we expected. All of our guests LOVED them (of course as did we). So many people reached out that night or the next day to say how impressed they were with Ana, Jimmy & the whole band. We also had an acoustic guitar player at our cocktail hour which was amazing. If you’re debating getting a band for your wedding because your heart is set on a DJ, seriously look no further than Amp DJ Band hybrid. You will not be disappointed. I want to have another event just to work with them again!

    Hiring AMP was the all time BEST decision we could have made for our wedding! We had immediate comfort and trust in them from the first time we spoke, and the show they put on for our day was better than we ever could have imagined. They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process of planning and had no problem with even the most far-fetched ideas (including my wife surprising me by getting up and playing the drums with the band). If we asked each and every person what their favorite part of our wedding was, hands down it was the music. Ana, Jimmy, and the rest of the band had everyone dancing the entire night without question. It was hit after hit after hit with the whole crowd! So many people rushed to us to ask how we got so lucky finding them. Ana and Jimmy truly respected and acknowledged everyone’s pronouns and made everyone in our family and party seen and comfortable through the entire process. AMP put their entire heart and soul into every performance. Their passion is so evident with each song they play, and their energy is just contagious. You cannot help but smile and dance throughout their whole set. And the TALENT! The talent is through the roof! All of our guests were completely shocked at the level of professionalism and talent AMP brought to our event. I cannot stress enough how utterly amazing AMP is. Do yourself a huge favor and book them, you will not regret it for a second.
