Photographing weddings and elopements is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I treat each moment with as much care as if it were my own! While I am happy to take on weddings of any size, I specialize in intimate weddings or engagement sessions where I can embrace a documentary, candid approach. My favorite moments to capture are those quiet, unplanned interactions. I adore the small details. The moments that sometimes get overlooked but often times help tell the story of your wedding day the most. I thrive with couples who aren’t afraid to be silly and embrace the moments as they come as opposed to forcing it.

I have been in the wedding industry in one way or another for over 8 years. From event coordinating to bartending and now photographing weddings, elopements and engagements. Not only can I capture the most important, beautiful moments of your day with my camera, I can help with planning, vendor recommendations, timeline, and more to ensure that your big day runs as smoothly as possible, whether you are having a 300 person wedding or an intimate mountain top elopement with just the two of you...     Sydney's portfolio shows that she's extremely talented and I can 100% confirm after receiving my wedding photos, not that I was expecting anything less. What her portfolio doesn't show is how amazing Sydney is on the day of the wedding. I was fortunate enough to have a day-of army (venue attendants, wedding planners, bridal party) but quite honestly, Sydney was the one who provided the most comfort. She was like a professional bridesmaid, knowing all the little tricks and secrets to an amazing day, understanding exactly what I needed and when. She went above and beyond what I would expect a photographer to do. She was amazing to work with, timely in providing our photos, and surprised us with a sneak-peak well before our photos were expected. Highly highly highly recommend and cannot say enough good things.

    Sydney was a dream to work with for our wedding! She is so kind and easy-going, she instantly eased all of my wedding day anxieties. She truly does it all and was essential in making our day run smoothly. From fixing my veil, to bustling my dress, and wrangling up our wedding party all while getting fantastic photos. She really is so talented at what she does by capturing all of the in-between, authentic moments that you want to remember forever. Our photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined and are so timeless, we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t recommend her enough not only because of her beautiful work but for the person that she is!!!

    Sydney is absolutely amazing! She photographed our wedding @ The State Room in Albany on 10/20/23. I woke up to the *at the time* unfortunate news that it was indeed going to rain and we had planned for our photos to be taken outside. BUT Sydney came to me with the best idea of shooting at The Capitol building on the million dollar staircase instead. These photos are the most stunning pictures and I’m honestly kinda glad it did rain because if it hadn’t we probably never would have gotten them. All thanks to Sydney for always thinking of her clients and trying to make their day the least stressed. Through out the whole process of planning the wedding, everything that had to do with Sydney was a breeze. She was so helpful in other ways too through out our wedding day. Fixed my vail about a hundred times, carried my lip gloss for me so I wouldn’t lose it, bustled my dress, and countless more! She is truly so wonderful at what she does and we couldn’t be more happy that we booked her to capture our day. But back to the photos…just simply stunning! I haven’t stopped looking at them since we got our gallery delivered. We received soooo many compliments on how amazing they turned out. She captured our day perfectly and it was so amazing to look at the pictures and relive the best day of our lives. If you are looking into booking Sydney for any of your photography needs, don’t hesitate, just do it.

    We booked Sydney for our October backyard wedding, and from beginning to end, she was amazing. She was so helpful and creative, and our photos are absolutely stunning. Our backyard and the fall foliage came to life through her lens (pun intended). She captured our day with intent and care. Highly recommend!
