JayLynn was the absolute BEST day of coordinator we could have asked for on our big day! She was so so helpful! She came to our hotel room to pick up the decor and when she arrived the first thing she said was “do you need anything?! What can I do for you?”. She created the perfect timeline for the day and sent it out to all of our vendors so the day went smoothly. She took the extra flowers we had and I told her “do with these what you will” and she used them perfectly! We had a memorial chair for my husbands parents who had passed and she put the flowers there as well as on our cake! I was so impressed with how she used the flowers. The venue was set up exactly how I wanted and it was even more stunning than I expected. JayLynn was on time to pick up the decor and I never once had to stress about her or the set up. I truly did not have to stress at all on our big day and it meant the world to me. All night JayLynn was helping me with either carrying my train, helping me in the bathroom when needed, and even coming up and asking if there was anything I needed. She helped my maid of honor bustle my dress and change my shoes for the reception. At the end of the night JayLynn brought all of our decor back to the hotel for us!! She ended up staying in the same hotel and I’m so so glad she did because I’m sure she had a super busy day and we didn’t want her to drive home from Frisco at midnight. JayLynn was such a sweetheart and made everything run so smoothly. There was not a second in our day that wasn’t smooth and that is because of HER!! We had the absolute best day of our lives and we know that it wouldn’t have been possible without all of her help. JayLynn, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your hard work and your commitment to making our day perfect! We appreciate you and the work you do SO MUCH!! I know that I probably missed so many of the things she did for us because she did it all but we are forever grateful for her and her help!

We thought to ourselves that they could help us with the wedding of our dreams and that they would understand everything we wanted to do. My husband wanted things more elegant and I was ok with that! They helped us from the beginning – find the right vendors, communicating all the details and making us feel well taken care of, they knew it all, so they made our timeline super smooth and easy contributing all our musts. They were always there answering my silly questions through text and even on the phone. On our wedding day my husbands button fell off and they brought a sewing kit and sewed it back on his tuxedo. SO HELPFUL ! We are so blessed to have found such an amazing wedding planner, it didn't even seem like we were working together we were more like friends meeting up and laughing and having a great time planning this wedding. Second to saying yes, hiring the Duchess of Denver was the best wedding decision we made! From spending hours truly getting to know us, to having all the right connections, to gracefully navigating a weather pivot on our wedding day, Alex surpassed every expectation. My husband and I knew we wanted to create a unique, beautiful wedding experience that we, our family and friends would cherish and remember. We’d wanted elements of a traditional wedding weekend but one that felt fun and not like every other wedding we’d been to. We also knew that, as a busy engineer and lawyer, we had very little knowledge about what goes into a great wedding and very little time or desire to learn the intricacies of “the perfect wedding.” Alex spent hours asking probing and fun questions. He really got to know our visions, desires and quirks. There were so many times when we said things like “we want a dinner the night before, but not a typical rehearsal reception with people standing around at hightop in a bland conference room.” He absorbed all of it and turned it into a fabulous weekend. Alex’s encyclopedic knowledge about James and Rebecca was invaluable when my work got super crazy a few months before the wedding. When I told Alex that I could do big decisions, but the little ones, like choosing ribbon color or envelopes for invitations, were hurting my brain, Alex stepped in and planned everything based on what he knew about us. Alex found us a breathtaking space in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor, he coordinated flowers to match my colorful dress, helped pick perfect delicious meal stations that suited a variety of dietary needs, organized the music and stayed on top of the hotel until their 3,000 square foot Parker suite opened up. Alex interviewed and found the best make-up artist, designed hand calligraphed journals for our guests, and created guest bags that with fun and useful things. I could go on and on! Alex’s management of every detail meant the weekend ran smoothly and everyone was happy! He created a bowling night for our out-of-town guests and wedding party, worked with the hotel make sure family members with friction had rooms far away from each other, stocked our bride and groom suite with snacks and champagne, moved us us through the precise schedule of photos, ceremony and reception, and organized a fun and delicious good-bye brunch. When a surprisingly rainy June meant our outdoor ceremony space was a mud-field, Alex pivoted and redesigned a large alcove in the reception space to be a cozy ceremony space. So many of our friends and family have said that ours was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended. Ok, ok, maybe they have to say that, but in this case, I think it’s probably true! We would recommend Alex to any couple, especially successful professionals who want to create a first class, memorable experience (but might now have the first clue of how do to it).

Absolutely phenomenal. Don’t look anywhere else for a day of coordinator. Nicki is unbelievable! We paid for her day-of services, but with all the prep meetings ahead of our big day we felt like we had our own planner! She is personable, knowledgable, and so organized. We particularly loved her help because we got married in our backyard. She does not only do weddings, but music festivals and other pop up events. She was so helpful in helping us figure out how to transform our sloped angled yard into a beautiful event space. She handled issues with one of our vendors seamlessly, and we were able to enjoy our big day knowing she had everything handled. We only met her assistant Dan on the day of, but he too was just as phenomenal. We’ll definitely use them again for our next big event!

These two women SAVED ME. I was drowning under a wedding that was working hard to self-implode with tons of issues happening and various things going wrong. They came in with about 2-3- weeks to go, got caught up, addressed MAJOR ISSUES, and were so sweet!! These women dealt with the chaos with such calm, kindness, and grace. They made things happen and I know handled hundreds of things in the background without even "bothering" me with questions. They made decisions that were beautiful and kept their composure at every turn. I honestly feel like I can call Megan and Kayla friends although that is probably crazy to say and they were nothing but professional the entire time. I will sing their praises any day and were by far the best purchase of the entire wedding. I did not get to use their flower service because I had already booked another florist prior to hiring them but I am certain their arrangements are as perfect as their planning services. The most amazing wedding event I could have ever ask for: especially with Donna from DBC Eventz. The venue was absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The DBC Eventz planner decorations were vibrant, and the ambiance was lively, making the celebration unforgettable. The catering service provided a delicious array of local and international cuisines that delighted every guest. The spacious dance floor and excellent DJ kept everyone entertained throughout the night. The staff's hospitality and attention to detail ensured everything went smoothly. Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

My husband and I got married in December 2023 and used Sofi for the entirety of our wedding planning. I'm not great at, nor do I enjoy planning parties/events, but once we explained our general vision, vibe, and hopes for our day, it was obvious Sofi had a clear idea of what we wanted and she hit the ground running. I cannot even fathom what our wedding would've been like without her. Every detail was carefully curated. She stuck to our budget and honestly made everything so enjoyable with her bubbly, fun, and kind personality. She felt like (and I'd like to this was!) a close friend throughout the course of the year that we planned our wedding, and then the day of the wedding came and she was all business (I mean that in the most respectful and awe-inspiring way). Her and her team could not have made the day easier or more stress-free for us. She was on top of everything and her attention never wavered from doing everything she could to make it the best day ever for us. There was even a small detail that was wrong with our drink menu at the bar; we had incorporated our dogs' names and a sketch of them, and the wrong sketch had been placed next to the wrong dog name. We wouldn't have been upset in the slightest, and yet Sofi made a call and had the corrected drink menu on its way within seriously only 20 minutes! Our special day just would not have been the same without Sofi's calm demeanor, attention to detail, and unique eye for design.

I started in the wedding industry when I found bridal world in 2018. Building a career in bridal brought me back to Los Angeles from Seattle, back to family and into a world where I could immerse myself in all things bridal and weddings. I worked my way up as a stylist to the couture level, managing one of the flagship stores in LA and specializing in custom, one of a kind designs as a stylist. I learned more and more about weddings, and one day started day-of coordinating for friends and family. That grew to a passion and led to the birth of Serenity Weddings.

We hired Serenity Weddings for our wedding last year, and it was the best decision we made for the day. We opted for the month-of package. We knew that we wanted to design our wedding ourselves to make it unique to our love story, but that we didn't have time the month of the wedding to add all of the last minute coordinating between the vendors to our workload. Desiree met with us mid-planning process to do a walk-through of the venue and get an idea of what we had planned for our day. She gave tons of helpful tips and truly made sure that she understood our vision. The month of the wedding she coordinated between all the vendors to make sure that everything was covered. Thank goodness! Turns out we forgot to order bathrooms since we were at a house, even though we didn't want people going into the home. She saved the day and made sure that we got an extra generator from the rental company to supply the power. On the day of the wedding she arrived ahead of the first vendor and made sure that everything was perfect. And if it wasn't, we never knew! All of our family and friends got to enjoy our wedding with us, without having to worry about how everything was going, all thanks to Serenity Weddings. I also worked with Desiree for my bridal styling, choosing the Final Touches package. Finding my dress was easy, but the endless choices for everything else was daunting. She helped me choose the perfect hairstyle and makeup combo for my enchanted look, and the accessories she chose were just the right touch.
