Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

Among the notable plantings on the site are the 470-year-old white oak tree and the massive rhododendron, both in the front of the property. Rowsley was named an Historic Landmark by the Village of Scarsdale in 1968, and in 2008, it was designated by the nation as a site on its National Register of Historic Places. The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. The Dramatic Hall serves as a space to host weddings, private parties, plays, live music performances, and more.

Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. Tourists flocked to the Gap to escape the summer heat and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River. Designed by German architect Robert Brueckner, Castle Inn was constructed of poured concrete and timber beams, a European construction technique unusual in the United States at the time.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is housed in a magnificent Tudor-style stable, built in 1913. The unique setting of this historic site is beautiful, elegant and comfortable with an atmosphere to suit all tastes. It is the perfect place to plan your Wedding Ceremony and/or Reception. The museum is located in the historic downtown Goshen, New York. Its elegant and timeless Haughton Hall can accommodate up to 125 guests. For larger groups our beautifully manicured lawn and garden provide a perfect stage for a country wedding celebration! Catch up over coffee or a morning mimosa. Experience nearby recreation, small towns, or just relax. Spend your evenings in the bar or by the fire pits. Then plan your Ceremony and Reception by making the Barn your own. Before you leave, spend the day by the pool to top off an unforgettable weekend. We typically host Barn events May thru October for up to 200 guests, although more may be accommodated with flexible seating arrangements. Our banquet room can hold up to 100 guests for a seated event all year round.

Nestled in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains, Falkirk Estate and Country Club can accommodate any size affair, from Grand Weddings and Social Galas to more intimate Cocktail Receptions. Lush landscaping, waterfalls and an elegant white wrought iron Gazebo are all options for the perfect backdrop to your outdoor ceremony as well as memorable photographs at our Rustic Barn and Historic Stone Gate House. Clients booking weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations have a choice of the Veranda with views of the gardens, Banquet Room with its own glimmering fire or, weather permitting, the gardens with a white party tent if needed. The menu varies from Italian to French to American, all done with a Scandinavian touch. Mikael and Alicia will meet with you to discuss the logistics and "tailor-make" a menu to suit your taste.
