Our gorgeously renovated and historically rich space is perfect for anything you can dream up. We’re ready to play host to your next event and we’re suited for just about anything – from weddings and private parties, to community events, and everywhere in between. Host a conference or your next monthly office meeting, put on a theatrical performance, or look through any of the other 101 events we’ve managed to think up that the Anthracite Center can and will host. The Anthracite Center’s event spaces feature cast stone, marble and woodwork original to the building, which we’ve lovingly preserved and restored, making us the perfect backdrop to any event. Fantastic & Affordable
The Anthracite was an absolute amazing experience. I didn’t know much about planning a wedding and Ashley made it so enjoyable. She catered to my specific needs and even brought in some of her own supplies and suggestions to help. The food was fantastic, I still have family who talk about the eggplant two years later! The price per person for everything included was a steal! I can not say enough great things about my experience with the Anthracite Center.

If you’re reading this review, stop right here and book The Anthracite Center as your venue! Seriously, Ashley is the best person to work with—she answers emails quickly and concisely, always providing the perfect amount of detail to make the planning process smooth and stress-free. We received so many compliments on how AMAZING the food was for our wedding, and we felt the same way during our tasting. Ashley and the chef, who I believe is her husband, go above and beyond to ensure the food quality is exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the inside of the venue was! The building is absolutely stunning, and it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our photos. One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception and seeing our family and friends all around the venue, especially upstairs on the second floor—it was such a cool, unique experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful for their hard work. The pricing is also fantastic—it’s straightforward, includes so much, and is truly a great value for what you get. Even though we traveled from outside of Philadelphia, I’m originally from the Pittston area, and it was well worth the trip! I would absolutely book this venue again for future events if I’m having them in the area. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. If you want an unforgettable wedding experience with amazing food, a beautiful setting, and fantastic staff, The Anthracite Center is the place to be!

I just had my wedding here. This venue is beautiful and the owner Ashley and staff are amazing! they were the best to work with and literally thought of every little detail. The food was amazing too! They also have a great bridal suite for the ladies to utilize for getting ready the day of your wedding that was very convenient in the winter months when the weather is unpredictable and you would like to get ready with out worry about traveling to venue after you are all ready and the weather is questionable
Best wedding venue ever!
The most beautiful venue, with the kindest and most helpful staff. The food is so delicious and Ashley the day of coordinator is the best! She is so easy to work with and she truly cares about your event.
