About this venue

Birchwood Manor has a total of 10 event spaces available. Guests will immediately be greeted by a dramatic spiral staircase in the venue’s lobby. The Jefferson Ballroom is perfect for your reception. Hosting up to 300 guests, it offers an elegant setting for an extravagant affair. The room features one-of-a-kind, hand-painted frescos, a beveled mirror wall, tall bay windows and 11-foot ceilings. The Grand Ballroom is the largest room available. Accommodating up to 800 guests, the space is breathtaking with its four magnificent crystal chandeliers and large dance floor. Outside the venue, couples can take advantage of the picturesque grounds for their ceremony, including a gazebo, fountains and enchanting gardens.

Our wedding at Birchwood Manor was an absolute dream come true! The entire team, especially Farrell, made it the best day of our lives. From start to finish, they were on top of every single detail, making the weeks leading up to our big day as relaxing and enjoyable as can be. I never had a moment of doubt, knowing they were taking care of everything and would bring my vision to life flawlessly. Farrell, in particular, was incredible—she offered round-the-clock support and treated us like family. Not only did she go above and beyond to make sure that my husband, our families, and friends were comfortable and well cared for from the beginning of planning to the wedding day, but she handled the wonderful chaos of our families with grace. She truly made us feel special and took care of every little thing, creating a beautiful celebration that we’ll never forget. We are so grateful for her and the Birchwood Manor team! Thank you for making our wedding day perfect in every way!

Total event time is 5 1/2 hours with on-site ceremony, or 5 hours without on-site ceremony. Vendor set up is 2 hours prior and vendor breakdown is 1 hour.

Booking fees and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.

Our venue is located approximately 22 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport (NJ) and 33 miles from NYC. You can reach our venue by private car or taxi.

No, our venue is fully insured. However, we do require your vendors to provide proof of liability insurance.
