    We had a beautiful day. Their brand new salon was a dream to use for your bridal party to get ready and it was my favorite part of the day. The staircase was gorgeous and there were so many places outside to take photos too. We worked with Bari and Melanie for a little over a year when we booked the venue. Bari was our wedding coordinator who showed us around and booked the place. We really liked her and she was great with responding to emails. However, the past eight months leading up to the wedding we worked with Melanie who is her assistant. Melanie was beyond helpful, we did our tasting with her, she responded to emails so promptly, and anytime we wanted to come back to the venue, she was more than happy to let us come as many times as we wanted. That being said, we were extremely happy with Melanie and everything leading up to the wedding day. However, we thought it was a little bit distasteful the amount of times it was brought up to leave such a ginormous tip, and even receiving an email telling us how much of a tip to leave with them (which I’m sure is an automatic or automated email.) But the night of the wedding, I was asked during my own wedding if there were more tip envelopes, my father was asked as well, and it was just extremely tacky. We had tips sorted out for everybody and if we had wanted to go back the next day and finish tipping, they really shouldn’t have been asking us that during our wedding. Very unfortunate. The second thing that was a real bother, was that Bari told us so many times very dramatically how we would have bridal attendance waiting on us hand and foot. We paid for the package to get ready and stay there the whole day. It was very hard for me to even find somebody that morning to get me an espresso or if we wanted a bagel heat it up.. just a little things that my sister ended up being my bridal attendant for the whole morning. Even for the guys, my husband said it was the same thing. There really wasn’t anyone around to help us until night time. It didn’t really bother me or ruin the day by any means, but it shouldn’t have been something they sold us on. I wouldn’t change a thing about getting married at the Rockleigh, however, there were just a few things that rubbed us the wrong way that we have told them about, that we hope they change for future brides!

    Our Rockleigh wedding (October 2024) was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. From the day we toured the venue, Bari and Melanie (the dream team!) were spectacular in helping us plan our big day. I could not even think of questions to ask because everything was answered already and laid out for us with ease in the planning process. Leading up to the big day, Bari and Melanie were extremely responsive and helpful, reassuring us that everything would be perfect the day of the wedding - and it truly was! On the day of the wedding, the ENTIRE staff was nothing short of first class, and all of our guests cannot stop raving about the food and stellar service. From start to finish, the Rockleigh staff did not miss a beat and had every detail nailed perfectly. We dropped off some items to be set up the day before the wedding and everything was set up even more beautifully than we could have imagined. Even the day after our wedding, we were greeted with mimosas as the staff helped us load items into our car. Such a nice touch! Our assigned Rockleigh day-of coordinator, Sandra, was so spectacular and made me feel so comfortable the entire day.  She was prepared with a fix for EVERYTHING - she helped steam my dress, fix my bustle and dress straps, had fashion tape on hand for a dress mishap, and even fixed a button that broke off my husband’s pants before the reception. She also brought amazing positive energy - our entire bridal party loved her. She is truly something special!!  Our guests cannot stop raving about the food, especially the amazing cocktail hour. The Rockleigh had one of every item from cocktail hour waiting for us in our suite after the ceremony which was such a nice touch. They even set up tables with the same food items for our parents so that they could greet guests with ease. Our signature cocktails were also done perfectly. It was easy for our guests to get drinks all night with awesome service at both the bars and tables. The beauty of the venue itself speaks for itself - everything at the Rockleigh is always impeccable. The grounds were beautifully landscaped where our outdoor ceremony was held and the bright and airy indoor spaces were just perfect. My bridesmaids and I did the early arrival package where we were able to get ready in a beautiful suite overlooking the fountain with delicious breakfast and lunch provided. As a type A perfectionist myself, I am not easy to please but I can honestly say my husband and I have 0 complaints about the Rockleigh. From the planning to the day of and even after the wedding, everything was more perfect than we could have imagined. We are so grateful and highly recommend booking the Rockleigh for a wedding!

    I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. They will be at your side the entire day making sure you don’t have to lift a finger and ensure that your day goes as exactly as planned (and might I say better than you planned it to go). The food was also the most flavorful dishes I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. I hope this review helps other couples decide that The Rockleigh should be where they have their wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and that was simply thanks to the amazing staff and service The Rockleigh provides. Please trust me when I say you will not ever be disappointed while in the care of the incredible people over at The Rockleigh.
