As the premiere sustainable wedding venue in the Finger Lakes, we focus on creating unforgettable memories for you and your guests, AND being kind to the planet. We truly believe that you can leave a small footprint on your big day. We provide a bespoke experience for all of our couples. We strive to support your vision, while helping you navigate the logistics. You will have exclusive use of the rustically elegant barn, farmhouse and land during your rental period, and we will be by your side the whole weekend to help manage your vendors and address any concerns. We are not a wedding factory! We host a limited number of weddings each season, so we can give your event the attention it deserves. Our stunning countryside views and historic farm buildings offer unique opportunities to create a charming and inviting venue for an intimate gathering or lavish event only a short drive outside of Ithaca, NY. The Main Floor - Osmica Barn Venue
A one-of-kind, early 1800's barn with original hand-hewn beams and thoughtfully repurposed lumber and décor (first floor ADA compliant)
Walk through the large sliding front doors and be struck by the stunning interior of our newly renovated main floor. The 13ft ceilings, accented with bistro lights and a dimmable chandelier, create a magical backdrop for any event. All of your guests will appreciate the comfort and convenience of our sidewalk entrance, poured concrete floor, and FOUR bathrooms (two ADA compliant). It is the perfect space to dance the night away or enjoy a meal looking out at the beauty of the pasture.

The Hayloft - Osmica Barn Venue
Awe-inspiring views of seasonally changing farm fields and sunset kissed hillsides leading to the shores of Cayuga Lake.
Vaulted ceilings with twinkle-light wrapped posts, invite your guests up one of two staircases into the enchanting hayloft. The expansive windows make for amazing sunset photos and indoor ceremony backdrops. Lean over the custom built balconies to capture the perfect dance floor photo. Whether it is set up with our comfy vintage lounge, long farm dinning tables or the ultimate photobooth, unforgettable memories will be made under the bespoke chandelier.

The Bar - Osmica Barn Venue
Grab a drink from our custom built bar and head back outside to enjoy the lawn games. Or, stay and mingle while you gather around the appetizer table.
We renovated our equipment bay using reclaimed materials found right in our 200 year old barn. The up-cycled chicken coop shelving, horse stall doors and refinished incubator appetizer table perfectly compliment the barn-chic aesthetic. The large doors open directly onto the lawn for a seamless indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. If the weather isn't cooperating, guests can duck inside and keep the party going. A small staircase leads you right into the dining area to kick off the reception.

The Farmhouse - Spring Trail Farm
Charming and convenient on-site accommodation and breakfast in our beautifully restored 1790s farmhouse, for the couple and six additional guests.
Our historic farmhouse was lovingly renovated to preserve its historic character, while updating rooms with modern amenities to ensure comfort and promote sustainability. Each room is uniquely decorated with a mix of antiques and vintage decor, exposed brick walls and hand-hewn ceiling beams. Ensuite bathrooms, lux linens, natural bath products, and full-length mirrors make for the ultimate get-ready space for your big day, and a relaxing oasis when the music dies down and guests say goodbye.

Rustic-chic, sustainable, and wonderful owners
Osmica is a dream! Allie and Kurt are gems and helped make our wedding so very special. From the beautiful property to the fun yard games, gorgeous renovated barn and hayloft to the lovely overnight we spent at the B&B, it was an occasion we'll never forget. The space is flexible to have a ceremony indoors or out, space for live music, ample dance floor real estate, and the loft can be set up in different configurations for whatever suits the event. Allie used flowers from the property to adorn the tables while Kurt managed catering deliveries, and they were amazing with set-up, tear-down, welcoming guests, and so much more. Allie communicated with us clearly about making sure we had the proper paperwork filed for having beer and wine on-site, and details for making things run smoothly on the day-of. We booked a night at the B&B which was so fabulous - they've renovated the farm house with such charm and character, many things being up-cycled - and breakfast we had the next morning (with ingredients from the farm!) was scrumptious. We highly recommend Osmica for your wedding, or any special event!
Farm and field perfection
It is hard to put into words how perfect Allie, Kurt, and Osmica were for our wedding. Our harvest themed October wedding was everything we could have envisioned and more, all of the "more" due to Allie and Kurt. They were so wonderful to work with, from planning the space layout, using their recycled decorations, incorporating our homegrown produce with their homegrown flowers, it was all so beautiful and sustainable. The touches of the converted milk barn resonated with our families and our farming background. The grounds provided so many beautiful locations for photos, kids to play, and enjoying the perfect fall day. Beyond just the sublime reception, what we reminisce the most about from our wedding weekend was the stay at the farm house. Allie and Kurt provided extraordinary breakfasts from their gardens, great conversation about food preservation and tips for our own homestead, and the ability to relax in the hot tub. We loved Osmica, Allie, and Kurt. We would highly recommend having any special event here, the space is perfect and you'll be able to create the best memories.

We are so grateful for the beautiful wedding that Allie and Kurt helped us to plan and host at Osmica at Spring Trail Farm! Throughout the planning process, Allie was incredibly communicative, organized, and attentive to our vision. She is extremely creative and helped us to bring all of our ideas to life! Allie also has many relationships and experience with local vendors, and was able to make recommendations and introductions to folks. Allie also helpfully reminded us about key tasks over time to keep us on track, which we greatly appreciated! The venue itself is incredibly beautiful – there are walking paths through wildflowers, an impressive garden that supplied our floral arrangements and a lovely breakfast on our wedding day (both of which Allie and Kurt made for us), a beautiful farmhouse where we stayed the nights before and after and got ready in (which made logistics much easier), and scenic views. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re even grateful to have been rained out of the outdoor ceremony that we planned – the hayloft is gorgeous and made for a dramatic backdrop. We would get married at Osmica and hire Allie again in a heartbeat. Amazing Venue!
Amazing venue. They really have it all from a beautiful house to get ready in to the barn for a perfect reception. The property itself is gorgeous with endless photo ops. Looking forward to going back!
