As the premiere sustainable wedding venue in the Finger Lakes, we focus on creating unforgettable memories for you and your guests, AND being kind to the planet. We truly believe that you can leave a small footprint on your big day. We provide a bespoke experience for all of our couples. We strive to support your vision, while helping you navigate the logistics. You will have exclusive use of the rustically elegant barn, farmhouse and land during your rental period, and we will be by your side the whole weekend to help manage your vendors and address any concerns. We are not a wedding factory! We host a limited number of weddings each season, so we can give your event the attention it deserves. Our stunning countryside views and historic farm buildings offer unique opportunities to create a charming and inviting venue for an intimate gathering or lavish event only a short drive outside of Ithaca, NY. The Main Floor - Osmica Barn Venue

A one-of-kind, early 1800's barn with original hand-hewn beams and thoughtfully repurposed lumber and décor (first floor ADA compliant)

Walk through the large sliding front doors and be struck by the stunning interior of our newly renovated main floor. The 13ft ceilings, accented with bistro lights and a dimmable chandelier, create a magical backdrop for any event. All of your guests will appreciate the comfort and convenience of our sidewalk entrance, poured concrete floor, and FOUR bathrooms (two ADA compliant). It is the perfect space to dance the night away or enjoy a meal looking out at the beauty of the pasture.

Highly recommended ! We are so over the moon happy that we were able to celebrate our rehearsal dinner at Osmica farm for a little over 100 guests. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! Our families were so impressed by the natural, rustic and inviting feel of the farm! The owners, Allie and Kurt were truly a joy to work with! They were so responsive and helped us so beautifully plan every detail of our day! They helped us with our table decorations, beautiful flower arrangements and other rentals! The list of the vendors they provided were also so nice and responsive and easy to work with. They truly made our experience completely stress free! The farm has the most stunning sunset and lots of space indoors and outdoors for kids and adults to enjoy lawn games. And the most meaningful thing is that Allie and Kurt were so friendly and introduced themselves to our guests, everyone loved them. They were available and ready to help from the first to the last minute. We will definitely visit and stay at their beautiful bed and breakfast in the future.

We hosted our wedding at Osmica, and we could not be happier with our choice. Allie and Kurt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our weekend was exactly what we were envisioning. The farm-fresh breakfasts each morning of our stay were absolutely incredible, as well as the pastries that Allie made for us. They were wonderfully helpful in making sure we had everything we needed on the day of our wedding and helping to make sure all the extras we wanted were arranged and taken care of. Allie is incredibly communicative, prompt, and kind, which greatly helped ease the stress of wedding planning. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. You can see the love and care Allie and Kurt have poured into the farmhouse and the barn to turn it into the most magical setting. It is the perfect farmhouse chic setting. And since it is a working farm, there are gorgeous flowers and scenery around every corner. We can't recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm enough!! If we ever got married again (or did a vow renewal) there would be no question in our minds to go back to Osmica.

Wow, where to start? My husband and I were married at Osmica in June 2023 and it beyond exceeded our expectations. Kurt and Allie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and how we wanted it all weekend. From putting together a gorgeous rehearsal dinner in the hayloft, to bringing my vision to life of hanging our custom neon sign, to quietly solving countless day of challenges that popped up so that we didn't stress (dealing with missing items from our rental order, filling in additional decor items, jumping in to help set items up), they were the pillars of our whole wedding weekend. It truly would not have come together the way it did without them. In addition to that, we stayed in the gorgeous renovated farm house and were treated to amazing breakfasts with food straight from the farm each morning. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary!

We do not host large barn events in January, February, March, April, November and December. We can sometimes accommodate micro-weddings or elopements in off-peak months.

New York State law requires that a licensed bartender purchases and serves beer, wine and liquor for your reception. We are happy to connect you with bartenders and caterers who carry a license and have worked with us in the past. *Depending on the event, if your guest count is small (under 50), with no hard liquor, you may be able to apply for a “one day beer, wine and cider permit” through the New York State Liquor Authority. However, you then take responsibility for monitoring your guests' service and consumption.

Yes. We have a gravel parking lot which can accommodate up to 70 vehicles. Our u-shaped gravel drive allows for easy drop off and pick up of guests in need of extra assistance getting to and from the event site. *Couples who expect to exceed the available parking spaces will need to hire a local shuttle company to help transport guests.

Yes. We want to make sure that all of our couples and guests feel welcome attending an event on our property. We have a u-drive with a drop-off right in front of a newly poured sidewalk, which leads to the front entrance of the barn. Once inside the barn, we have large doorways and poured concrete floors that make it easy to access the main dining, food service and dance floor spaces. We have four indoor bathrooms on the main level, two of which are ADA compliant. In addition, our outdoor ceremony space is close to the barn and on a flat grassy area. Our guests' comfort and care is a top priority.

Yes. We ask that you speak with your current insurance company to purchase special event insurance with liquor liability. Or, you can find a variety of online companies specializing in insurance plans specifically tailored for weddings. A typical insurance plan costs between $150-$300.
