Florencia Saav Photography

Hoboken, NJ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,880
  • Serves Brooklyn, NY

Hello! I'm Florencia, a wedding photographer based in NY/NJ and I'm looking forward to meeting you! I'm fluent in English and Spanish and I found myself working with multicultural couples a lot. That's one of the many amazing parts of my work. I've been capturing love stories for more than seven years and I LOVE to do this for a living.

Awarded Best of Zola
When you know, you know! I looked at countless beautiful portfolios and spoke with many talented photographers for my wedding, but within the first minute of my first phone call with Flo, I knew she was the one! Flo was, and continues to be one of our favorite and most complimented wedding elements. From our first phone call, and until our wedding was over, Flo was an absolute joy to work with. She understood what I was looking for throughout the process, was easy to coordinate with, and most importantly delivered stunning photos. Her fun and bubbly personality made her a hit with everyone at the wedding. My husband and I were the most anxious about taking so many photos (we both avoid pictures as much as possible) however, every ounce of that went away when working with Flo. Our faces hurt by the end of the night from smiling and laughing with her. She has an amazing eye and set us up for some truly beautiful photos I never could have imagined. If you don't do anything else for your wedding, hire Flo!

Tati And Roman

New York, NY

  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Brooklyn, NY

We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Awarded Best of Zola
After scoping out dozens of photographers in NYC, we fell in love with Tati and Roman’s work. It was a little over our price range, but the photographs and service were absolutely worth it! I had a very challenging wedding day, there were some very emotional moments, and Tati was my right hand girl. She had her eyes on me at all time for anything I needed, from bringing me a glass of water to calm me down, to rallying and directing people clearly in photographs. My favorite moment was when it started to rain towards the end of the night and Roman had my husband and I run out to take a gorgeous picture of the rain falling around us. I can't imagine a more magical portrait of our love, and will remember it forever. That photo alone made them worth it! Additionally, they were professional, friendly, and easy to work with from beginning to end. Tati and Roman runs their business with finesse - always meeting deadlines and responding to questions and concerns quickly. They are the best out there! Book them now!!! You will never regret this!

Frank and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. A friend of ours recommended Frank and New Jersey Wedding Studio to us after they had an amazing experience with him for their wedding. Frank took the time to get to know us on our initial calls, walked us through the pricing and different options for the videography we were looking for. On our wedding day he and his staff arrived promptly and were quick to determine unique video shots we could take as we were getting ready. Throughout the day they were there every step of the way, capturing all the beautiful moments with our friends, family and wedding party. The final products were really special and captured all of these amazing moments we will cherish forever. Frank also put the additional time into editing and adjusting our videos ensuring to implement all of our feedback. We really appreciated Franks patience and dedication to delivering a great final product. Originally we weren't even sure if we were going to do a videographer, and we are so glad we did. We would highly recommend New Jersey Wedding Studio to anyone who wants to capture their special day and have memories to look back on for years to come. Thank you again!!

Bailey Q Photo

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,450

Hey there, my name is Bailey! I am an artist, business woman, wifey, nerd, Brooklyn-ite, and matcha fiend who’s endlessly curious about the world around me. I strive to make the world better by capturing love authentically, spreading positivity & happiness, and supporting organizations that are doing the work to preserve our planet & enrich the lives of marginalized communities. With my whole heart, I unapologetically embrace inclusivity & all forms of love.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved everything about working with Bailey! One of the best parts was her attention to detail and commitment to capturing the moments and people we wanted to highlight. From the very beginning, she wanted to know about us, our style, and what was most important to us; she didn't force us to do anything we didn't want to. We really appreciated that she checked in throughout our wedding day, updating us on the shots list we'd put together beforehand (which ones were done or not), sharing new ideas about possible things to capture, and keeping us on schedule. Every photo Bailey captured was truly beautiful and special. Our favorites include our couple's portraits, the candid photos of our loved ones, and the way she highlighted our venue (which was our home and backyard). We feel that Bailey really captured the immense love and support we had that day. Also, neither of us really love attention so we could have been awkward in our couple's portraits, but Bailey made us feel so comfortable and captured us and our love so well. We also appreciated Bailey's strong support for LGBTQIA couples and the respect she always showed us. Bailey was so much fun to work with and took all the stress and worry out of the process!

Emily Louick Photography

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500

I believe that your images should look and feel exactly like you, as if you stepped out of your photographs into real life. My style is natural, vibrant and true to color and I enjoy providing a client experience that is unique, well-planned and most of all, fun! By the time your wedding arrives, my hope is you'll see me as a trusted friend helping you enjoy your day! A lifelong New Yorker, I love combining the creative with the technical and finding the beauty, art and magic in life as well as good food, dancing to 90s jams and my senior rescue cat, Ever.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was scouting a photographer for an interracial traditional nikkah (wedding) ceremony. I was seeking someone who was open to working with different traditions and someone I felt comfortable being myself with. All it took was one call with Emily and I knew she would be perfect. She took the time to understand my vision, got on zoom calls, and even scouted the location ahead of time to get the right lighting and “feel” for the images I was seeking. Working with any professional can seem so impersonal, but with Emily I felt like I was with a trusted friend. On the day of the nikkah ceremony, she went above and beyond in terms of coordinating and changing the settings for the perfect pictures. We loved the results and it always feels like we are reliving the moments all over again whenever we see the pics.

If you're the kind of couple that would prefer their photographer feel like one of the guests as opposed to a paparazzi, and if when the neighbors complain about the noise, you just invite them to the party, keep reading. I take a documentary-style approach to my weddings. Roaming with a camera, I capture the candid moments and small details that make your wedding unique to you, while making sure to set aside time for a few special portraits.

Awarded Best of Zola
Stephanie was an absolute delight to have photograph our wedding. From beginning to end she was so helpful and positive. She has a knack for capturing those perfect candid moments and feeling like part of the party. Her framing and use of natural lighting is excellent, we couldn't be happier with the results. We also really enjoyed how easy it was to view the photos on her website, select the ones we wanted, request edits, and download digital copies. We highly recommend Stephanie for any special events you want to remember for a lifetime.

Hullo! So you're gettin' hitched (YaaY!), but you’re not super into the idea of the overly-manicured wedding. A+ for you, because this is not your parents’ wedding photography. I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

Celia is able to capture raw emotions and candid moments you'll want to remember forever. She even jumped on a bike with her camera to capture my brides dream - a wedding day ride! Hiring a photographer that's fearless and fun will definitely pay off. Can't go wrong!

Karen Seifert Photography

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

I'm Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based in New York City but can travel anywhere! I've been working as a photographer full time for the last 10 years and in that time have managed to photograph over 200 weddings or something like that. I'm from Virginia originally and was always interested in photography and got my first big break at a friend's wedding! I moved to NYC in 2011 and live in Brooklyn with my partner Austin and our two dogs Blanca and Bort. We have a very large record collection and love trying natural wines!

We were really nervous about choosing a photographer because we were came to NYC from overseas to get married and we didn’t know many people to give us personal recommendations. We were so happy to have found Karen who provided us with a fantastic photography service at a reasonable cost. She went above and beyond to help us and even found us a great videographer at an extremely good price. Karen was super friendly and relaxed which was perfect, she was a pleasure to have with us on the day. The photographs that Karen produces were beautiful and we love them. We also found Karen’s communication to be excellent and we felt in very safe hands throughout. No matter what the size or style of your wedding we would highly recommend using Karen as your photographer. Thank you Karen!

Picture-Minded Photography

5.0

Brooklyn, NY

Seeing and envisioning the way things will appear photographically for the past 20 years, is a finely tuned skill that I have made into my career.  With every wedding and photoshoot all of my experience with light, composition, and how surroundings and subjects will translate in a photograph is intricately woven into every shot. Weddings are my creative playground combining three of my favorite types of photography into one:  portraiture, lifestyle, and photojournalism.  I love jumping into your day armed and ready to capture the most extraordinary fleeting moments in real time.

It was SO great to have Stephanie (Picture-Minded Photography) photograph the memories from our special day. We really appreciated the questionnaire she had us fill out ahead of time, because this allowed her to know what things we were interested in capturing. Of course, once she arrived, she re-confirmed everything. Honestly, her work on her Instagram spoke for itself and we knew that we could let her have complete artistic freedom with capturing the beauty of the day...so we asked her to go for whatever inspired her. She was very creative with our "details" shots, but also she was great at helping set us up for posing for our stills. She was so calm and, spontaneous with some of the ideas, like when she asked us to take pictures by the water on the way to the Ceremony. She's a great artist with a great eye and on top of that, a friendly and warm person. We can't thank her enough!!!!

Hey there! My partner Emilio and I have been shooting together for over 5 years. I personally shot my first wedding back in 2010! We're an LGBT owned company and we are so so so passionate about making sure everyone feels represented in a sometimes white-washed straight appearing industry, we love inclusivity. Our main goal is you having the best stress-free and FUN wedding photo/video experience.

Christian and Emilio were an absolute joy to work with from our exploratory communications, to the day of our wedding, and the delivery of our photo's and video. We are forever grateful to have them be apart of our special day. They listened to exactly what we asked for. We didn't want a lot of the typical wedding shots and wanted more candid photos. Not only did they deliver on that, some of the more staged photo's that we thought we didn't need, once we saw the outcome, we were happy that they worked a few of those in the mix ;-). Christian and Emilio totally got our vibe and it translated beautifully in photo's and our video. Our friends and family are still raving about it! Listen, we all know that sticking to a budget while wedding planning is necessary yet one of the biggest challenges BUT they are willing to work with you. I'm not kidding. These gents truly have your best interest at heart and that includes giving you quality work within a budget that works for you. My husband and I have very high standards and are very detailed oriented, so this a very honest review. Cross this off your 'vendors to hire' list and HIRE THEM! Don't even think twice about it.

Hello and welcome! My name is Tatiana and I'm the girl from Brooklyn but I was born in raised in Siberia, Russia. Since I was teenager I was taken photographs of every day moments and small happenings in my life. And I never knew that taking photographs and creating memories for other people will become my dream job! I am a traveller, adventurer, dog lover and of course wedding and elopement photographer in NYC and beyond! And let me tell you I absolutely love weddings! It's a tremendous honor to witness and document the love. I always shed a tear at the ceremonies.

It's been almost 2 years since we were married, and looking back on our wedding album, I am so glad we found Tati. As we suspected, our wedding day was a whirlwind. With so much happening at once, it took some time to ease into the moment, and at times, it was hard to stay in the moment. Regardless, from beginning to end, Tati captured all the important ones beautifully. We couldn't be happier.

Carey MacArthur Photography

5.0

Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,500

My images are a blend of formal photographic training and a passion for telling stories with pictures. I specialize in capturing natural, candid moments. I approach wedding photography as a documentarian with a deep love of family and a great respect for ritual.

I count my lucky stars that my husband and I were fortunate enough to work with Carey, and her amazing second shooter, Sandy, for our wedding photos. Carey’s photos are simply works of art. She has the ability to create exquisite, photojournalistic images that are so full of emotion, the feeling of the moment simply leaps off the page. I searched long and hard for the “right” photographer for our wedding day and just cannot say enough how truly grateful we were to work with Carey. As if her photography talents were not enough, she (and Sandy!) are simply the warmest humans who are so genuinely happy to be part of the special moments they are photographing, and were rooting so deeply for our happiness we (and frankly our whole extended families) considered Carey and Sandy part of the family by the end of our wedding night. They integrated with our crew seamlessly and were in no way intrusive. Carey was also so patient with us during the planning phases, made time late in the evening to speak with us when she knew our work schedules were hectic and invited us down to her Brooklyn studio for a pre-wedding photo shoot to help with the pre-wedding jitters. Not to be understated is just how calming a presence Carey was to us on our wedding day. She can take two stressed humans and work her magic so they are having nothing but the best time ever (and feel like subjects of a Time magazine/Vogue cover story). Easily the best money we spent in the entire wedding process – we had so much fun together and we are obsessed with our wedding photos. Carey and Sandy are incredible talents – run, don’t walk to book if you are in need of any photography for life’s most special moments. We hope to have an excuse to work with them again soon.

Before we even met, Ryan and Tatiana had 10 years experience as wedding photographers, and Ryan had been named one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World by the two top industry magazines, American Photo and Rangefinder. We didn't mean to fall in love with the person whose style and experience fit most neatly with each others', but it happened. Now we manage our business and creative passion with our other passion … parenting our Tasmanian Devil of a toddler, Gavin, in our happy place of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

Ryan and Tatiana are amazing photographers. They are geniuses at capturing candid moments and taking action shots along with posed photos. My husband and I don’t feel like natural models behind the camera, but they provided coaching during our engagement photo shoot. We knew that there would be plenty of great photos of the two of us on our special day and we asked that they focus on getting great shots of as many of the guests as they could. They totally delivered! And despite managing to take snaps of over 100 guests, no one really noticed that they were there. It was like they were photography ninjas. They really managed to capture the joy and the fun of the day. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. Thank you to Ryan and Tatiana for everything!

Hello, my name is Daniel Martinez and I thank you for taking interest in my work! Photography and I go way back! I discovered my passion for it when I was fourteen years old. From the first moment I picked up a camera, I knew that this career was the one that I wanted to pursue. I have worked within the wedding photography industry for 10 years and have experience working with publications such as ESPN, PDN, and The New York Times. My Photography style is documentary based as I aim to capture natural candid moments.

Danny was such a pleasure to work with. He checked off all boxes of the traditional shots of us and the whole wedding party, and portrait shots of us during first look's, but also captured moments and journalistic style shots throughout the night that really showed our personalities. When we showed interest in doing "light painting" effect photos for some of the fun late-night shots, he dove right in. The first set of photos that he delivered to us the day after the wedding were awesome - I can't wait to see all of the final shots. Danny is an artist and it's clear in his work.

Thank you for taking an interest in my work and considering me to be your Wedding Photographer! I'm technically based in Brooklyn, NY but have the unique situation of growing up in Maine. I then spent a decade in New Orleans where I first began my photography journey and moved up to NYC to further pursue it. I'm fortunate enough to have several places to call home and while I work a great deal in the New England & the tri-state area, I'm proud to announce that I've accepted work at an international level this year. Traveling is one of my other great passions, along with music, so it's a perfect fit.

I found Karl ages ago when I was looking for a photographer for my engagement shoot in New Orleans. The photos came out amazing. I was nervous at first since I had never had professional photos taken, but he was so kind and he made me feel at ease instantly. I couldn’t get enough of the photos once I received them. I love love love his use of natural light and the fact that all of his shots are unique and never those “forced” poses that every other photographer uses. I loved his work so much that I booked him for my wedding photos, then my maternity photos after that, and a few of my closest friends and family have also booked him for their weddings as well. I would definitely book Karl again for any future events.

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. Candid moments, humor and a refined eye are the hallmarks of my photography. Hard work, experience and a love for what I do make it all come together. Born in Minnesota I road-tripped to New York City some 15 years ago to pursue my photography dreams. My then-girlfriend of 2 weeks, Lisa, was riding shotgun in the U-Haul. Fast forward to today and I am blessed to call Lisa my wife and Brooklyn our home. We have two wonderful girls, Ava and Ruby, that bring me endless joy. I’m hopelessly addicted to tennis! My door is always open to new ideas and projects. Please drop me a line. Josh

I'm a professional photographer and took well over 6 months searching for our wedding photographer. Josh was the 'winner' by a landslide. Initially I never thought I'd want a male photographer but as soon as we met I instantly felt so comfortable in his presence, I knew I and everything else would be extremely well 'taken care of.' He was SUCH a great presence and so professional, courteous, respectful, fun and got ALL the shots I ever could have dreamt of. A lot of wedding photographer's work looks the same to me, but Josh perfectly captured OUR wedding with all it's quirks, beauty and amazing moments. I found, when looking for a wedding photographer, you want someone you'd like to spend an afternoon and/or evening with (because, well, you will be). And Josh is that and then some. He's a genius photographer, a true master at his craft, in fact, stop reading this and just book him now!

You know those first few months that you fall in love & everything is so wonderful & terrifying & just so damn GOOD? It's that “new love” feeling & I’ve never been able to replicate that feeling with anything else, except photography. Your wedding day tells the story of your love. From that “new love” to the more comfortable kind, it is the culmination of all those moments leading up to “I do.” I consider myself the narrator of that day, telling that story and documenting your connection through my photographs.

We highly recommend JENNY for any photo needs. She’s amazingly detailed and makes you feel like she’s your best friend. We were both nervous for our engagement shoot and she made it a breeze! 15/10 would recommend!

For someone who already had really high expectations to live up to from the engagement shoot, Jess hit every single expectation we had and more! We chose a crazy artistic venue with a courtyard, garage, townhome, and gallery - but Jess managed to find all the best lighting while also managing to keep us away from guests during our first-look photos. She has just such an eye for style it's CRAZY! And she captured all the small details perfectly. There's really no choice here - if you want someone who captures the real moments and gives you photos that let you remember what your wedding FELT LIKE - not what it looks like on a postcard, but the real gosh-darn emotion, then you need to book Jess. You 100% will be so happy you did - because the person behind the lens is also a gem. <3

Specializing in portrait and documentary photography, I'm a Turkish photographer currently based in New York. I capture cultural events all over the world, and shoots weddings and portraits in the greater New York City area when I'm not traveling.

It was our best choice to ask Ren to be our photographer for our City Hall wedding. She was really professional, flexible, understanding, kind and super fun. It was so easy to work with her, she knew exactly what to tell us. She took the time to really get to know us and it shows on the pictures. We will forever cherish the beautiful moments Ren captured. We never thought someone can capture all the emotions and candid moments we had that day. The 4 hours of the shoot flew by and we still talk about it like one of the most fun time we had together. Can't wait for her to shoot our family wedding next! :)

When I'm not shooting weddings, I’m a total beach bum. This might sound like an oxymoron coming from a native Montrealer, but I adore the ocean (and very much dislike winter). I swim and surf whenever possible, and I get out to the Rockaways as often as I can. I do a ton of beach photography, including a series about couples at the beach, and I’ve been published a few times, including here and here. If you see me at the beach, come say hi, and let’s have a frozen drink together.

Erica was absolutely the best, we chose her because we liked her style and that her shots looked very natural. As someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, this was important to me, and on the day I felt very relaxed and was able to truly enjoy the moments with my partner while she captured them. She took the time to meet with us months before the wedding to make sure we were comfortable the day of, and captured our day beautifully (while also helping make sure we were organized and didn’t veer too far off schedule!). I highly highly recommend her!

Our names are Tess Mayer & Julia Wang and we are photography duo based in NYC. We met our freshman year at NYU Tisch and since then have run a magazine together, worked as teaching assistants at ICP & NYU, and shot our first wedding our senior year. Our style is a blend of candid documentary and stylized portraiture - we approach your day not as strangers following you around, but as excited guests (who happen to be carrying around cameras and massive lenses) who will most likely cry during your vows. We love small, intimate and relaxed weddings.

Awarded Best of Zola
Tess was incredible to work with! She was communicative from the start, she captured all the moments that we asked and many more, and she worked well with our day-of coordinator. She was friendly and joyful, bringing a great spirit to the day! She gave us direction when we asked for it and captured organic moments. Every time we wanted a picture during the reception she was right there to take one. We definitely recommend Tess & Julia Weddings for your wedding photography!

WE'RE MARIA AND RICARDO, WE ARE HUSBAND AND WIFE AND THE HEART BEHIND THE PICTURES. WE ARE BASED IN NYC AND TAKE WEDDING COMISSIONS ALL AROUND THE US AND ABROAD BUT WE ARE ORIGINALLY FROM SPAIN AND PUERTO RICO MARIA IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER, ALL THE IMAGES ARE TAKEN AND EDITED BY HER. RICARDO IS YOUR VIDEOGRAPHER AND RUNS THE BUSINESS AND MAKES SURE EVERYTHING GOES AS IT SHOULD. THERE IS A LOT GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES.OUR PHOTOGRAPHY IS BOLD & CREATIVE, AIMING TO TELL STORIES AND DOCUMENT THE REAL MOMENTS. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SHOOT A FEW FORMALS AND WE ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THE BRIDE AND GROOM SESSIONS.

This review is massively long overdue (we got married 5/20/2022), but I absolutely have to write one. Maria and Ricky are hands down the BEST people and we could not have been luckier to have the pleasure of them capturing our wedding! They got exactly the vibes we wanted, all the shots we wanted, were so easy to communicate with, and are just the nicest and most fun people! We did our engagement shoot with them in NYC and the photos could not have been any better. We communicated the types of shots we were looking for and, since they were living there, they were able to give us the best tips for location and shots! Our wedding was better than we could have ever imagined. We got the best posed shots and the absolute best candid shots. We barely even realized the were photographing/taking video of us during the reception which we loved, but we also just loved their presence. They were so much fun and added to the party, they were dancing while shooting and made everyone so happy and comfortable. Our guests still talk about them and how awesome they are! Our video is breathtaking, we are taken back to the day every time we watching and it always brings us to tears. The photos are incredible; we constantly look through our photos and love displaying them in our home to look at all the time. We have since referred several people to them because we would love everyone to have the same experience we had!

I’ll try to keep this short: I’m a silly, introverted, rule breaker with a sincere whimsical streak. Originally from Iowa with a decent chunk of time spent bopping between Minneapolis and Oregon, I love weddings + photography (duh), my nephew, a stiff gin + tonic, propagating too many damn houseplants, and my cats. Last I checked I’m an INFP, Enneagram 4, and Capricorn which makes me quite the pragmatic daydreamer + observer: as unnecessarily prepared as a Boy Scout, curiously creative, and hella laid back, all of which uniquely prepares me for the ebb and flow of a wedding day.

Caitlin is a dream. From the time she arrived to the beginning moments of our wedding, Caitlin right away was comfortable with everyone. She brings an ease which allows people be calm and we honestly forgot she was there, snapping away. There were many moments where she would check in and make sure everyone was good, the energy was so sweet. We received our photos right when she said they would be done. The work Caitlin does captures the warmth, and light of a love event. My husband cried the first, second and third time we looked though the collection. We will treasure them forever. Highly, highly recommend her! 100%

I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors of the horses always have been inspiring to me. I’ve always wanted to recreate them, but was never really able to. Honestly, my painting/drawing skills were and still are terrible, and that’s when photography came up in my life. I would create imaginary cameras out of my toys and would ‘photograph’ the horses and my neighbors. Photographing people became my passion and then evolved into my work in editorial and wedding photography.

I can't post enough praise about Gui from 98 Wedding Co, and I'm SHOCKED there's not more reviews here. We recently had our engagement shoot with him and let me tell you-- we were blown away by the photos. We were looking for an editorial style that screamed NYC, and Gui captured it perfectly. All my family and friends were amazed at the shots and could not stop raving about how well he captured us and our vision. It looks like a spread out of Vogue! My fiance and I are also pretty awkward in front of the camera, and Gui's calm and relaxed presence was a breath of fresh air. He knew all the right spots and best places to get the perfect lighting and framing, a true expert in his craft! I can't wait to see how perfectly he captures our wedding and will be sure to update this review when the photos are inevitably stunning as well. Thank you Gui!!!

Kate was such a delight to work with! My husband was pretty nervous about posing but we ended up having so much fun on our engagement shoot (which she recommended we do as a way of getting comfortable - but we also really loved the photos). And when it snowed pretty hard on our wedding day she encouraged us to roll with it and the pictures are just absolutely magical. Our apartment is pretty small but we’re having a really hard time narrowing down prints to what we can fit on our walls! And there are so many gems among the guest candids - the first two I sent to people got immediate “this is my favorite picture of me/us ever” responses. Not gonna lie, we are pretty relieved to never have to plan a wedding again - but if we were, we’d hire Kate.

Sarma & Co. Photography is described as timeless, tried and true- creating images that are candid, honest, crisp and have energy and emotion. Our clients are couples who consider their wedding photos one of the most important investments they'll budget for during their planning process. Couples who treasure wedding images that are not chasing photography trends. Our images are not overly edited nor do we use trendy filters. We have no interest in processing techniques that are the latest fad and will quickly be out of date and cheesy wedding photos make us cringe. We document your wedding day through an unobtrusive and relaxing approach.

My husband and I hired Sarma & Co. for our wedding in January. From our very first meeting, Sarma was warm and energetic. We fell in love with her natural and authentic photography style and knew she was the right choice for us. On the day of our wedding, we could not have had a better experience! Sarma and Jessica brought a calming energy to our day and captured our moments effortlessly. My husband and I really wanted to take advantage of the outdoor landscape at our venue and even though it was snowing and cold, Sarma was all in. We went outside and got some of the most amazing photographs. It was such a great experience! Sarma was very quick on the post-production and we had our photos a few weeks after our wedding. I still go through them and am in awe of how amazing they turned out. Every photo is beautiful and captures the emotions and moments of our wedding perfectly. Overall, we'd highly, highly recommend Sarma & Co. to anyone!

I've been in love with the art of photography for as long as I can remember, and I'm truly blessed to be able to pursue my passion every day. Growing up all over the world (Sweden, India, and Denmark to name a few!), my love of photography grew from my desire to capture the places and people I wanted to remember the most. What I love most is the incredible honor of being part of your special day and capturing the deep emotions behind the photograph.

We were so fortunate to come in touch with Nithya through Zola! When I found out in early September that things fell through with a local photographer for my October wedding, I emailed 10 photographers on Zola, desperate to find out about their availability. I had a reply from Nithya the next morning, and after a wonderful chat, she became my new photographer! I loved her enthusiasm and how she talked about her work and the types of photos she wanted to capture that day. Many guests have mentioned how she was always in the background the entire evening, totally focused on her work. We found a gem in Nithya and we can't wait to look at her photos!

Hey! I'm Gina :) I am a destination elopement photographer based out of NYC. I love to travel and adventure with my clients. I also specialize in elopements, engagements and lifestyle photography sessions. A little bit about my approach... I want to be your hype girl, your friend, your dad joke supplier, your drinking buddy, your best third wheel, and oh! your photographer. There is a lot of mushy gushy stuff out there and that’s all great but not everyone is coming in hot with some fairytale story of love. They just love the shit out of each other and want someone to document that love and the celebration that goes along with it.

Gina was an absolute dream to work with. The photos we received were gorgeous. Gina has an incredible eye for unique shots. My fiancé and I loved that she was so efficient. She kept us moving and we had a great time doing so. We highly recommend using In Full Detail for your photo needs!!!

Just a girl living in Brooklyn who is obsessed with her Frenchie named Yoshi. I started my photography business 10 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Throughout the years I've photographed every type of wedding you can think of and have been so lucky to call a lot of my clients friends now. If you're into it, I'm a true Enneagram 2 & a Pisces - what a combo right? To sum it up, I'm emotional, I'm intuitive, I'm an empath, and I'm a dreamer. These traits are what represent/help my business - I'm able to work and connect with almost anyone (even those tough MIL's love me!). My main priority is to make sure my clients have fun!

I fell in love with Tonhya and her work from our first collaboration, and since then she has become one of my go-to photographers for all of my weddings. The amazing photos speak for themselves, and she is a fantastic energy to be around on your wedding. Love love love!

I am Jenny & I started Stylish Hip Weddings in 2008 with an incredible team of women documenting weddings for the fun of it! At heart, I am a TOTAL design nerd, funny meme enthusiast, Type-A organizer and homemaker. My photo career started as a photojournalist working with the New York Times, Newsweek and Glamour magazine. I have photographed in over 50 countries and I once photographed Lin-Manuel Miranda before he was mega-famous. We hung out for the day and he freestyle rapped for me. He is rad.

Stylish Hip Weddings did a fantastic job on our wedding photography! Jonica photographed our wedding and took so many beautiful shots that we'll cherish forever. We debated whether to splurge on photography and are so glad we did because the photos are amazing! It's priceless to have our special day captured so beautifully. Jonica went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and get to know us before the wedding. She traveled up to Westchester from Brooklyn to see our wedding venue and meet for a meal/wine so we could get to know each other. We felt from the beginning that we were in good hands, and she put us at ease the whole night. Thank you for your beautiful work, Stylish Hip Weddings!! We don't just capture images; we delve into the heart of raw emotions and the fleeting magic of moments. Our work is about seizing stories as they unfold, capturing the unspoken tales that dance in the eyes of lovers and echo in the laughter of families.

Nik, Dona, and Dave were a pleasure to work with. We love their photo journalism approach because it allows you to be fully present with your guests. The team captured our engagement and wedding perfectly. They took two awkward love birds and turned us into models with natural but moody and romantic poses. They were the icing that topped off our perfect day. Dona, Nik and Dave felt like part of the family, and they truly understood our vision. They were patient and so pleasant to work with. We met at a photo production studio in 2008, moved in together less than 6 months later (much to our parents chagrin- sorry, guys!) and never, ever looked back. We firmly believe love is love, Black Lives Matter, climate change is real, and it’s totally acceptable to hug someone upon meeting them.

Heya! Glad to see you here! I’m a former cubicle worker, who left everything behind to follow my heart. I always did what was expected of me, but it never felt quite right until I decided to take the leap to being a wedding and family photographer. Once I took that leap the universe lined up and made magic happen. I’ve always had a deep sense of nostalgia and wanting to hold on to moments, and photography has been the means for me to do that for myself, and now for YOU!

We found Jonica when searching Brooklyn photographers and we were instantly drawn to her documentary style wedding photos. She was easy to get in touch with and we had a number of calls to prep for the big day. Jonica was super creative and enthusiastic, able to get variety of shots and it never felt hectic or stressful. We couldn't be happier with our full wedding album. We didn't end up using a videographer but when we clicked through our wedding album, it was like we are watching a movie telling the story of our wedding day. We would 100% recommend Jonica and look forward to the next event to book her again.

I’m a wife, dog mom and luxury elopement photographer who has happily made her home in the New York City area for the past 15+ years. For me, wedding photography — whether there’s 200 guests or just two people total — is about capturing a feeling. It’s that wave of relief on your partner’s face the moment they see you. It’s how newlyweds can’t stop sneaking grins at each other. It’s how you want to recreate the first date, folding dollar slices or drinking twenty-dollar cocktails. That’s the good stuff. And I hope that when you look through your wedding album down the line, you’ll remember exactly how you felt at that moment.

Thanks to her sociability and good sense of humor, she quickly finds a common ground with her clients. Those who forgot when they smiled the last time reveal their forgotten skills during the photoshoots. Emotional and sensitive, open-minded and positive - these are the qualities that distinguish Nika from other New York photographers. Veronika's photos lack emotionless and polished austerity. On the contrary, they are full of life and liveliness. Veronika is interested not only in the practical side of the photography, but also knows its theoretical aspects well.

I'm a Brooklyn based wedding photographer specializing in LGBTQ weddings and destination weddings. My photography is a commentary and recorded history of the human experience in all its expressions of beauty, struggle, bravery, and mystery. I believe that the candid interactions, ridiculous quirks, and vulnerable moments of sharing between family and friends define what it means to be alive…. and they deserve to be documented, preserved, and remembered.

Soon enough, HMPhotoshoots became a full service photo studio.

I believe the importance of photographing a wedding is to preserve the memories for years to come. The tears of joy, the genuine laughter between loved ones, the epic dance party. While I will always be inspired by pretty scenery, it’s capturing people and their raw emotions that keep me in the wedding industry.

I studied photography through high school and then at Bard College, always finding that part of me that only photography seemed to fill. I made photographs for myself, for magazines, for companies and now for many beautiful couples. As I began photographing weddings I quickly realized that this was where the good stuff was. The story of human joy all rolled up in one day: love, connection, laughter, family and friends celebrating. I want to be part of what makes your day great.

Hey! I'm Elizabeth, the woman behind the camera. I'm passionate about telling positive, empowering stories that challenge dominant narratives. I’m a photographer and filmmaker who wears many hats, but being a wedding professional is one of my favorites. I believe that art is political, and it’s a form of resistance to share real love stories loudly with the world. My approach to weddings, business, art and life is unapologetically radical, feminist, and intersectional, and my favorite people to work with are all of these things too!

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Marilyn was amazing and I will definitely be recommending her to our friends! From our first initial consultation my fiance and I were so comfortable with Marilyn and knew immediately that her warmth and kindness would make her the perfect person to include in our wedding. The photos she delivered for our engagement shoot were absolutely perfect and we can't wait to work with her for our wedding in a few months!

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
From my first interaction with Christopher, I knew he was going to be the best photographer for us. He is communicative, creative, thoughtful, and caring. We did an Engagement Shoot which was a great opportunity for us to get know each other, and it made for an easy transition on our wedding day. Our wedding was perfect, and the pictures highlight all the magic of the day. In addition to the posed photos, he was able to capture moments in action. The pictures are full of love, joy, and excitement. My husband and I loved working with Christopher and his team and couldn't recommend him enough.

Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.

Awarded Best of Zola
Beyond more than just the value and punctuality and just the professionalism I have ever received. I overall feel like I've known him beyond our time working together. Cesario checked in on us even beyond wedding stuff, checking on our mind set our spirit and relationship with me and my bride to be. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding day! We loved getting to work with you to bring our dream to life. We appreciate your help in creating unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. I never knew how nervous I would be but Cesario made it seamless and effortless as he saw our vision and combine his own vision he saw for us and made it reality. He Spent the previous months staying in contact with me and my fiancé, insuring our photo ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner etc was too our liking. He took his time in details of each position and lighting, switching between cameras and accessories, also picking locations around the venue that represented our love, spirit and energy. Cesario was prompt on time and even ensured everything else besides his duty to us went well (family members looked great, coordinated with Coordinator, venue decor etc.) he was awesome. This was the best day I ever had and loved it because it was made with care and to our specs we wanted, this review doesn't give it its full justice on the quality of the the of the services he provided even the small details he went into helping our day. The special moment he had with me right after the ceremony were I could gather my emotions and he helped me gather myself and take it all in, that is something I can’t explain and I will always thank him for. I really saw how he cared and took his time in making sure it was perfect. We felt like we had a family member with us the entire day guiding us rather than a hired stranger witch made it feel natural and easy. The Photos came out UNBELIEVABLE, you see how he perfected each pictures, the lighting, how he captured moments we didn’t even know were happening. H captured the Cocktail hour photos, flowers, cake, bar and so much more. We are still looking through the photos and trying to figure out what to print out and frame, so many to choose from. Thank you again for your time and efforts and I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to hire Cesario Mendez!! Hurry book him now!!

I'm Chrysa- a self-taught photographer since 2014. My entire life I've always been in love with taking pictures. Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I'm sure my parents wished I had a flare for performing heart surgery but here we are... I love travel & all things adventure/outdoors (Want to climb a mountain to elope? I'm your girl. Want to exchange vows in a National Park? I've been to 29, count me in).

Coming from a person who dosesn't feel they have the "perfect body" I was slightly apprehensive about doing a boudoir shoot. There is nothing I love more than photographing weddings - a day full of raw emotion and I get to document and make art of out it! I'm a newlywed so I totally get what you're going through! We recently adulted hard and bought a house - next up is a dog! Please tag me in all funny dog videos :) I love occasionally working out, always eating cookies, and watching nonstop romantic comedies - especially while I edit (let's not talk about how many times I've seen Dirty Dancing). Can't wait to meet you!

My husband and I are not really into having our picture taken, so we were pretty nervous about our wedding day. That being said, Michelle did a great job putting us at ease and capturing us in a way that was natural and didn’t make us feel uncomfortable. The pictures came out outstanding- better than we could have ever imagined! We had no plans to order a photo album, but I gave in and could not be more happy with how it turned out! We are incredibly pleased and grateful for the work Michelle put in. We would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!

We are traveling wedding photographer and videographer. For 2024, we have 70+ weddings booked in 21 different states. Our shooting style is photojournalistic, natural, CINEMATIC to traditional. Our editing and style depends. Very easygoing and flexible depending on the client's preference. Our team is dedicated in delivering memories.

We decided to do a last minute baby moon in the Miami area. I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to get a photoshoot. However, I was a bit worried about finding a photographer on short notice, especially between Christmas and New Years. I reached out to several photographers and Ledd Lens was the only company that promptly responded, replying to me within ten minutes, From the very start of our conversation, Andre was exceptionally professional, responsive, and approachable. He was very flexible with my last minute request and accommodating to my asks. I knew right away that he would be a fantastic choice. When the day came the weather did not cooperate and Andre was able to flex his schedule to a time that was not rainy, which was much appreciated. He assured me that this would be a positive experience regardless of the weather. And the photo shoot went fantastic! His ability to choreograph and capture a scene is unparalleled. You could feel the enthusiasm and passion he has for his work, and that is reflected in the final product. Andre did a great job of quickly editing and delivering the photos. We absolutely love how they turned out and cannot recommend Andre and Ledd Lens enough!

Jess made us feel so comfortable from our first interview and that was the most important aspect we needed in a photographer. She was creative and adaptable in our poses. We felt like models during this experience even though neither of us are typically good picture takers. She knew all the right spots and angles at our venue which showed she really cares about her clients. We only had a few requests but she made sure everything was done exactly how we hoped for! Our wedding pictures are our most treasured wedding piece and thats all thanks to Jess.

My bride and I are writing this review regarding Shawn at SLK Visuals. From our first intro zoom call through to our wedding day we found Shawn to be talented, creative, professional, and experienced. He was always punctual and very well-prepared. We relied on him for his vision & experience - And he came through for us. He took the time and care to produce amazing photos of our special day and caught the details we wanted. We are extremely happy with his product and will recommend his services in the future. P.S. Shawn thank you for letting me have our cocktail hour and being extremely patient while I rushed to put on the dress and get ready.

Where to start with Shelby! From the moment my fiance and I first met with Shelby, we knew she was our photographer. Shelby made us feel so comfortable from our first convo and that completely transferred to when we were front and center. We felt like we had one of our best friends behind the camera and our photos show that! The day was full of joy and Shelby captured it with seeming ease. Another plus, Shelby is not afraid to take charge of the room when things need to get done but still is kind and always made us feel totally on track!! Loved our day and loved our decision to use Shelby!

We LOVED working with Lindsey. We planned on having her as our wedding photographer at our big family wedding, and when we decided to add a small, private ceremony with just immediate family and grandparents, she totally made it work to be there too. The photos she took are the best photos we've ever had taken of the two of us -- we didn't think it was possible to both look that good in a photo at the same time. Lindsey was fun to work with and made the whole process super easy by being up front about everything from day one. We keep looking back at the photos and the energy of the day really comes through, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Also, I would give 6 stars for clarity of communication if I could. Thank you Lindsey!!
